Battle Tower WiFi

Has anyone used the battle tower with the wifi connection? I was tempted but was not sure what I was getting into. If anyone has any information it would be much appreciated. Thanks, Cherkat.

This is all the info I could find online for it.

Use the DS's wireless function to partner up with a friend.
In addition, one of the receptionists allows the player to randomly download a team using the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, which will then begin to appear in the player's Battle Tower challenges. One can also upload their team to the database to be downloaded by another player.

Your 7th opponent will be a champion downloaded randomly. It goes by your wifi tower ranking. If you win more and select to upload your team you too could be a champion in someone elses game.

I have done the wifi battle tower once, but I didn't get to finish because my mom needed me to do stuff for her

I did the WiFi Battle Tower and got throughly trounced. It was not even remotely fun for me. People on their are using their raikou's and sucicunes and all i had was a garchomp, luxray, and clefairy.

So, I guess that you can enter legendaries? Do they have level's. Like level 50 and below or do you enter with your best team at their highest levels?

It automagically reduces the level to 50 but does not raise to 50

Most legendaries are banned, got a list somewhere but i'm being a little scatterbrained tonight =/

That is very useful information, reduces to level 50. I will see if I can search for the banned legendaries. I am sure that there is a list somewhere. Thanks to all.

im pretty sure all of the "Trios" from every generation,Heatran,Latios,Latias are allowed. Which is actually alot considering.
