So, you think you are a great Pokemon trainer? Do you? How many badges do you have? How many of them have you earned?
Here at the new and improved PokeFarm forums I'm putting together a special challenge system that will reward the winner with badges. These badges will be a permanent part of your profile.
To earn a badge you must challenge a Gym Leader here on the forums. If you beat them you will earn their badge. If you lose you will not.
The Gym leader's team of Pokemon will be based on what the Gym Leader in the game used. If you want to earn the Boulder Badge you will be fighting against a Gym Leader who uses Rock and Ground Pokemon. Get the idea?
Don't PM me about this just yet as I am still working out the details and getting the badge images created.

To contact a Gym Leader Go into your User CP and locate the section marked Group Memberships. In there you will find any currently active Gym Leaders.
Once you apply to join the group the Gym Leader will contact you to arrange for a battle date.
Gym Leader Team:
The makeup of a Gym Leader's team is subject to change at any time but will still follow the restrictions in place over that gym. In other words a Gym Leader may substitute Pokemon of the same type in between battles. The Gym Leader must still follow the restrictions on the gym so you will not see an Ice type show up in a Fire gym unless the Pokemon is Fire/Ice.
Battle Rules:
6 Pokemon each
Only the challenger may change out Pokemon during the battle
No legendaries
No more than one of the same Pokemon on any team
If you lose you must wait at least one week before applying to beat the Gym Leader and the Gym Leader may have you battle one of his or her Gym Members before battling them again.
Battles will be Level 50
