Please don't reserve a pokemon if you cannot trade over WiFi.
Gligar evolve into Gliscor if they are holding a Razor Fang when leveled up at night time.
Gligar/Gliscor are not super powerful at any one aspect of battling, but they are very versatile. They can be given Leftovers and EV trained in Defense and HP to make a great wall (just watch out for water and ice). I have seen them used to Baton Pass stat increases, but my farm did not learn Baton Pass, so that wont work for these guys. Another option is to make these guys your annoying pokemon. They can learn Stealth Rock through TM and they take no damage from electric or ground attacks.
My favorite option for these guys is Choice Band or Choice Scarf attackers.
Especially if you have them learn U-turn and hold the Choice Scarf.
Many will argue Flygon has better stats for that, but I still like Gliscor.
Gliscor has a lot more options for attacks.
Take some heart scales to the move tutor and they can learn Fire, Ice or Thunder Fang.
I don't have the patients to breed only one of the two abilities listed below. Both abilities have their benefits. Hyper Cutter is good if your opponent keeps trying to intimidate you, while Sand Veil is good if Tyranitar is also on your team.
Hyper Cutter (hc): Opponent cannot lower this Pokémon’s Attack value.
Sand Veil (sv): Raises the Pokémon’s evasion during a sandstorm by one level.
Adamant nature: +Attack, -Special Attack
Move set:
Night Slash - Dark - Power:70 Acc:100, High Crit-Hit Rate
Cross Poison - Poison - Power:70 Acc:100, High Crit-Hit Rate
Aerial Ace - Flying - Power:60 Acc:Can not miss
Earthquake - Ground - Power:100 Acc:100
The IVs are listed below.
