Alrighty friends. I wanted to do things a little different for this fusion. So here goes my attempt at being multi-artistic.

Chapter 1

My name is Jesse, my friends call me MissingNo. I am a Pokemon Master.... in training. Anyway, I was hanging around at the Battle Tower one day, just taking a breather from breeding. I went with my cousin to watch the great Pokemon trainers compete and to take notes on their strategies. I am not that great of a battler, but I do have experience, being a multi-time Sinnoh Champion. I also have one Pokemon that I consider to be my pride and joy, and my best friend. My Tyranitar and I have been through a heck of a lot. I bred him myself to not only be strong, but quick. He is the fastest Tyranitar there ever was, and we both know it and are *proud* of it. We like to say proud, but others tend to call us cocky.

So anyway, my cousin, Cali, and I were watching trainers win and lose all morning. There was no one really standing out and it was almost lunch time. Once someone got on a small winning streak, another trainer would come along and wipe that all away. Cali was getting hungry and bored. But I was enjoying myself. I was amazed at how some strategies seemed to be great, but each one had a weakness. I wondered if I could master all the different strategies, then nothing could stop me! But Cali was only 9 and wasn't all to interested in battling. So, I decided to take her home and come back by myself a little later. WRONG MOVE!

A few hours later, after taking Cali home, filling my belly, and taking a small nap, I returned to the Battle Tower. There was an eerie sense of quiet as I approached the tower. There was no one outside, which is wierd. I reached for the door and immediately felt something intense in the door handle. I yanked the door open and was overtaken by the loud cheering and loud sounds of a great battle. I could hear the voice of the announcer over the speakers, yelling excitedly. "Whoa-ho-ho! He does it again folks! Thats his 21st in a row! This guys is unbeatable. INDESTRUCTABLE!"

"What!," I yelled out loud, infuriated that I could have missed such a feat! I ran as fast as I could into the arena and saw the destruction. One person, standing tall in the middle of the arena, the other scrambling to collect his fallen Pokemon. The crowd of thousands were standing on their feet cheering loudly. Jumping up and down with their hands in the air. There was now a news team running onto the field to interview the winner of the match, one male cameraman, and a female interviewer. I recognized them as the news team that always seemed to want to interview me everytime I did something cool. Now this guy, this beast of a battler had the attention of the entire tower! It was beautiful.

The crowd started to quiet, very little, and I could begin to hear the yelling whispers of the people around me.

"I heard he's set the record for the most Sinnoh Championships!"

"Yea? Well I heard they were voting to replace Aaron in the Elite Four with this guy!"

"No, I thought it was Cynthia!"

Whoa, this guy has to be the best...ever, I thought to myself. I just stood there in amazement. I was excited to see the next person he destroys. Suddenly, there was a loud crack that shook the whole building. The ground started rumbling and dust starting building and kicking up in the far corner. The stone wall was starting to open! But just slightly, as a small girl appeared from the dark hole. She walked out slowly, and stopped a few yards away from this mystery battler and the news team. She kept her face down, in a submissive manner. Then, she spoke quietly.

"Sir, congratulations on your acheivements here today. Your feats have caught the hearts of thousands, but more importantly, they have also caught the attention of my master. He wishes to challenged you to a battle. What is your answer?"

He smiled handsomely, and responded smoothly, seemingly unaffected by the girls entrance, "Of course, I accept."

And with that, the girl clicked her heels, turned around, and headed back towards the small black hole in the wall. She disappeared inside and the wall closed back together behind her. The news team left the field, and the battler positioned himself on the far end, and began preping himself for battle.

SWOOSH!! The large Pokeball image in the center of the field slid open to reveal a large square hole in the floor. The announcer came onto the speakers again, "And now people! If you thought you'd seen something special today, you are mistaken. What you are about to witness is the collection of all things perfect, all in a single physical form."

SOMEONE WAS RISING UP FROM THE HOLE IN THE FIELD!

"The next battle will be between, the challenger, the great TOWER TYCOON, PALMER!!!!!! And your champion!!!...........

SOMEONE WAS RISING UP FROM THE HOLE IN THE FIELD!

"The next battle will be between, the challenger, the great TOWER TYCOON, PALMER!!!!!! And your champion! the winner of 21 consecutive battles here today!.... the man known only as, Giratina Master!!!!!

By the time the announcer had stopped talking, Palmer had completely risen from out of the ground. He stood there briefly, with the spotlight on him. Then he stepped aside, and the Pokeball image slid quickly back in its place. He turned to face Giratina Master, and politely bowed. Giratina Master nodded his head, and Palmer turned and softly walked to the other end of the field. When he reached his position, he stayed facing the stone wall, never turning to view the battle field.

"And now!" the announcer coming back on the mic, "Let us all witness a true champion! Let the battle begin!!!!!"

Cheers erupted from the crowd, and I just stood there in amazement. I couldn't believe what I was seeing, and what I was about to see. Truely this would be a battle between the two greatest trainers in the world. And knowing this made my anger at what I've already missed fade away. There were news teams positioned all over the arena now. Live broadcasts of such an event. The lights dimmed, and the battle was beginning!

Giratina Master quickly made his choice of Pokemon. He judged Palmer of being someone who relied on cheap tricks, like his entrance, to gain an advantage. "Someone like this man," he thought, "would be into ghosts or psychic types. I shall own him!" He tossed out his ball, which flew all the way to the middle of the field, landing on the Pokeball image. The ball snapped open, and out came... A MIGHTYENA! The Pokemon was huge, the largest Mightyena I'd ever seen! It was the most intimidating Pokemon I've ever seen, and yet, it was beautiful. The fur was clean, freshly groomed, glistening in the spot light. It turned its head to face the crowd. It seemed to be looking right at me, and it seemed to be smiling. Then the smile faded, and was replaced by a snarling, intimidating face. It growled loudly, and silenced the crowd. It turned back, and was now staring at Palmer's backside.

Palmer meanwhile, hadn't even moved. He smiled to himself, impressed by the boys assumptions of him. But the boy was wrong. Palmer reached to his belt and grabbed a ball. He had no Pokemon that was Super Effective against this Dark Type Pokemon, nor any move. He didn't need it. He knew every Pokemon stats, and he knew that Mightyena was slow, and had horrible Special Defenses. Palmer knew then, that he had this match won. This Giratina Master relied on brute force, overtaking his opponents with much higher trained Pokemon. Yet, Palmer was still impressed. This trainer had the dedication to raise all of his Pokemon in such a manner. But today, he will learn an important lesson....

Palmer tossed his ball very gently behind him. The ball only traveled a few feet, and rolled another few. The ball snapped, and out popped a Milotic! Wow! I stood frozen, completely amazed. I had heard of these Milotic, and I had heard that they were near impossible to acquire. The beauty of the Pokemon stunned the crowd. No one could look away from it, we were all in a trance. Palmer snapped his fingers and the Milotic slithered towards the Mightyena.

Palmer snapped a second time, and the result was devastating. The Milotic was so fast, no one had a chance to register in their minds what had happened until it was all over. It had used its Hydro Pump, a hude devastating move that was boosted from its Water type and its very high Special Attack. The Mightyena was sent flying towards the back wall, crumbling the stone wall around it. It lay motionless for moments. Then, it erupted from the pile and charged ferociously towards the Milotic. Giratina Master just grinned as his Pokemon responded. It attacked with its Thunder Fang, a rare physical Electric type move. This move was Super Effective, but even more, it was boosted by Mightyena's strong Attack stats, and made even more effective by Milotics sub-par Defense. The Mightyena sunk its teeth into its victim, and shocks of electricity could be seen flowing through the Milotic. The Milotic roared in pain.

The Pokemon crumpled to the ground. Palmer stood in the corner, completely in shock. He clenched his fists, and his teeth. He turned around quickly and saw his prized Milotic, still with volts traveling through its body. "It's on, boy," he mumbled to himself. He snapped his fingers and the Milotic responded, straightening itself to its full height, towering over the seemingly tiny Mightyena. The Milotic unleashed its full power, another Hydro Pump that slammed into the Mightyena. The Pokemon was again shot backwards, and this time landed in front of its master. It was defeated, and that was that. Giratina Master accepted his Pokemon's fate, and recalled it. He grabbed a second Pokeball and threw it out to meet the Milotic. It landed and snapped open, and Giratina Master had chosen.......

It was defeated, and that was that. Giratina Master accepted his Pokemon's fate, and recalled it. He grabbed a second Pokeball and threw it out to meet the Milotic. It landed and snapped open, and Giratina Master had chosen......nothing? Nothing appeared from the ball. Confusion filled the faces of the crowd. Suddenly, fear filled me. I was terrified and I didn't know why. I obviously wasn't the only one. People started screaming in terror. The crowd began to panic. Mothers were reaching for their children, and people were storming for the doors. And then, it was quiet. Everyone had stopped running, stopped screaming. The fear had grown so much in their hearts that everyone was frozen in terror. Then, slightly, a black mist could be seen rising from their faces. The faces of thousands suddenly turned upwards as the mist left them. All over the arena, blackness could be seen filling the upper levels, and building in the center. The people around me collapsed after being drained. The center of the mist began to grow into a large black fog, and began to shape into a ball. Once all the mist had gathered in the ball, it began to lower towards the middle of the field. Once it touched the ground, it began to form.... it was forming unmistakebly into...Gengar! A powerful Ghost type Pokemon!

The people began to awaken. They seemed confused on what just happened. It became clear that they had no recollection of what just happened to them all. The crowd slowly returned to their seats, only knowing that Giratina Master had thrown out a Pokeball, and now a Gengar hovered before them.

Giratina Master smiled and spoke softly, "You see, Gengar here feeds off of the fears of others. It makes him more powerful than you could ever imagine. Prepare yourself, Palmer."

Palmer smiled at the boldness of his words. "Milotic! Recover!" A blue mist surrounded Milotic, and bite marks from Mightyena began to heal.

"Old fool! Gengar, Energy Ball!!" A small green orb began to grow between Gengar's eyes. It grew and grew, until it was about 3 feet in diameter, and then it was sent crashing towards the Milotic. It was a Grass type move, boosted by Gengar's perfect Special Attack, and Super Effective against Milotic. The water type Pokemon's body seemed to absorb the orb, and like a poison, it coursed through its veins. It didn't do as much damage as the Thunder Fang had done, since Milotics Special Defense is much higher than its Defense. And the damage done was just under half its Max HP.

"I am no fool! All I have to do is Recover until you run out of PP for that move! And then this will be a 3 on 1 match. Milotic, Recover!"

"Gengar! Energy Ball!!"

The blue veil once again began to surround Milotic, and its body slowly started to recover. But suddenly, it was struck with the green orb of the Energy Ball! The Milotic absorbed another orb of poison, and it was too much for it to handle. It collapsed to the ground, defeated.

The confidence in Palmer's eyes faded...."How?".....

"That Salac Berry you had it hold that boosts its speed... only works when its HP is below 1/3 of its max. When you used Recover, it was no longer the faster Pokemon," explained Giratina Master. "I do believe it is now an even match, 2 on 2. Who is your next Pokemon?"

Furious for being outsmarted by a child, Palmer reached behind his back, grabbed his second ball and tossed it out to meet the Gengar. Out popped a monster...no, a dragon! Dragonite!!!

"Dragonite....Dragonite.... HE WOULD HAVE TO USE A DRAGONITE!!!!!!!!!!!" Giratina Master seemed furious. He turned around and slammed his fist into the stone wall, leaving a large indent in the wall. "The one Pokemon that has beat me every single time I've come against one," he whispered to himself. "It wasn't always stronger," he continued quietly to himself, "but some how, some way its always beaten me..." He remembered one time when he had almost beaten one with a Masquerain after a barrage of Ice Beams. But when the huge Dragonite fell, it landed on the small Masquerain, squishing it. The PC could barely mend it after the battle. But it was rediculous things like this that seem to always happen whenever there was a Dragonite. "And here again, I'm faced with another..."

"What's wrong, son?" asked Palmer, with a grin on his face.

Giratina Master shot him a cold stare, and quickly regained his composure.

"Dragonite! Stone Edge!!!" Stones began to fall from the sky, crashing towards the Gengar. There was a blinding light as the stones slammed into the Pokemon. When the stones finally stopped falling. There was slight movement from under the pile. And then something huge erupted from the pile, sending rocks in all direction! It wasn't a Gengar, but a Blastoise! The attention then turned to Giratina Master, who had both arms extended, each hand holding a Pokeball. He had switched Pokemon! And Blastoise had taken the hit of the stones. But most was absorbed by its huge shell.

"My turn, old fool.... Blastoise!!! Blizzard!!!!!!!!!" The room suddenly got freezing cold. Ice was forming on the walls, and a storm was brewing in the hands of the Blastoise. An ice storm burst from the hands of the Blastoise, flying straight for the Dragonite, hiting it square in the chest. The Dragonite absorbed the full blunt of the hit, and fell to the floor. I knew the Dragonite was done. Even I knew that Dragonites #1 weakness is Ice type moves, and Blizzard is the strongest Ice move there is.

Defeated, Palmer recalled his prized Dragonite, and stood there momentarily, thinking about the possibilities of this fight.

Giratina Master couldn't help but grin. Another accomplishment to add to his list. "Just one left, just one more!" he thought to himself. "I've almost got this match won. Its now 2 on 1!"

Palmer remembered who he himself was. "I am the Tower Tycoon, boy! No one can ever defeat me!" He remembered his trust in his Pokemon, and the years he spent in solitude training them to be the best, training himself to be the best. "I AM the best," he muttered to himself. He turned to face the wall once again, regaining his composure. He reached for his last Pokemon and tossed it behind him. It rolled and popped open, and out came his most prized Pokemon, Rhyperior. "Mr. So-Called-Indestructable, meet Rhyperior, your doom!"

He snapped and the Rhyperior charged forward. Giratina Master laughed loudly, "Blizzard!!!!!" Again the room grew cold, and another storm brewed in Blastoise hands. He sent it flying towards the charging Rhyperior. Rhyperior saw it.... and dodged it! The storm continued on and slammed into the wall.

"Tsk, Tsk, boy.... Too bad Blizzard has such low accuracy..." Palmer said, just loud enough for Giratina Master to hear.

The Rhyperior began to create a yellow charge in its hands as it charged forwards towards the Blastoise. He use all of his forward momentum and swung it forward. It was a huge 5 ft diameter yellow ball of electricity! Thuderbolt! It slammed into the Blastoise and sent it flying towards the stone wall. It hit at the same point that the Mightyena had, and the weakness in the wall couldn't contain the massive Blastoise. The Pokemon continued through the wall and out into the gardens in front of the arena. Everyone just stared at the large hole, but no one expected anything to come through it. Thirty seconds past, which seemed like forever, and then the Blastoise appeared. It stumbled through the hole back into the arena. Electricity could still be seen flowing around its body. It was hurt, and hurt bad. Giratina Master didn't have a choice. He recalled his friend and sent back out his Gengar.

After a rest, Gengar was fully ready for the fight. It was now two fresh Pokemon. Gengar......Rhyperior......

Gengar......Rhyperior......

*Snap* The Rhyperior charged again, its momentum growing quickly.

"Gengar! Energy Ball!!!"

Gengar once again formed a green ball and shot it towards the Rhyperior, hiting it squarly in the chest. Rhyperior's body absorbed the poisoness ball of Grass power, and it slowed slightly. It growled in pain and fury, and then made its move. With its current momentum, it gathered in its arms a huge boulder and threw it with all its might. The boulder slammed into the Gengar. Both Gengar and the boulder continue to fly until smashing into the wall. Gengar was pinned up against the wall by the boulder, until it finally rolled away. Gengar slid down the wall and collapsed on the floor. It laid there momentarily, seemingly unconscious. Then its bright red eyes popped open, and it hopped into the air and floated furiously towards Rhyperior.

"Wow," thought Giratina Master. "Rock Wrecker. I've never actually seen the move used before... Its devastating! Theres no way that Gengar can take another one of those. Rhyperior took some damage from that last Energy Ball. Gengar does have ONE move thats strong enough to finish Rhyperior off. Dream Eater.....THATS IT!"

"Gengar! Hypnosis!!!!"

Gengar stopped a few yards from Rhyperior, and began to twirl its fingers in front of his eyes. His eyes starting going round and round. A small purple funnel cloud formed from his hands, and slowly descended on the collapsed and panting Rhyperior, still exhausted from his last move. As the cloud got closer, it was overtaken by the large breathes of Rhyperior, and blown away.

"Rats!!! Gengar, again!!!"

Gengar performed the same ritual and another cloud was sent towards Rhyperior. Rhyperior stopped breathing, and his eyes popped open. He noticed the cloud approaching him, and he roared! Rhyperior jumped up, twirled around and batted the cloud away with its tail. He charged again at the Gengar, gathering up another boulder.

"No.... not like this..... Gengar!! Energy Ball!!!"

Gengar formed another green ball and shot it towards Rhyperior. Rhyperior slung his boulder towards Gengar. The boulder slammed into Gengar's Energy Ball, which splattered around it. The boulder continued towards Gengar, now covered in Gengar's own move. It slammed into Gengar. The boulder exploaded on impact. Gengar was sent flipping up into the air, and dropped back towards the field. He landed hard. Gengar was covered in boulder debris and remnants of the Energy Ball.

Rhyperior collapsed again, completely exhausted. Giratina Master dropped to his knees, grabbed his Pokeball and recalled his Gengar. He sat there stunned, and heart-broken. And then, he remembered.... He wasn't defeated yet!

"Rhyperior is exhausted from that last move! And if only.....YES! It could work!! Blastoise!!! I choose you!"

Blastoise appeared from his ball. He staggered, struggling to stay on his feet. He was covered in burn marks from the electric shocks.

"Blastoise, Hydro Pump."

Blastoise strained its eyes, and grunted. It collapsed to its knees and pushed. He gathered all his might, and shot huge gushes of water from his cannons. The water shot towards it victim. And the water crashed down on the ground, many yards short of Rhyperior. Blastoise just didn't have the strength. With a grin on the Rhyperior's face, it lept up into the air and landed with a thud on its feet. It started to build a ball of electricity in its hands.

"No!!!" Giratina Master ran onto the field and wrapped his arms around his friend. "You win! I forfeit! You win!"

*Snap*

Rhyperior ceased his attack and turned towards his master. He was then sucked into his ball.

"Whoa-ho-ho!!!!" the announcer yelled. "What a thrilling match we've all just witnessed! I've never seen anything of this magnitude in my life!" The crowd roared to life, cheering on both competitors. I was stunned. Giratina Master put up one heck of a fight, and if it hadn't been for a couple of flukes, well, he may have won!

Giratina Master held out the Pokeball and the Blastoise was sucked inside. He sat on his knees for a few seconds, struggling to grasp that he had actually lost. Then anger and fury filled his heart. He shot Palmer a look that showed his anger and his pain. And Palmer was pleased.

News teams were charging onto the field towards Giratina Master. He stood to greet them, but they ran right past him and continued on towards Palmer. Left completely alone, Giratina Master charged out of the arena. The crowd didn't seem to notice that their former champ had left, their focus now completely on Palmer. I felt for Giratina Master. I knew he was a wonderful trainer and one day, he would defeat The Tower Tycoon.

As I was following the crowd out of the arena that night after the huge battle between two great Pokemon trainers, all I could do was think about the road ahead of me. It's going to be a long road, a hard road. But the rewards along the way are now obvious to all who just witnessed one of the greatest battles of all time. I knew that with a lot of determination, patience, and hard work that I could become as accomplished as any Pokemon trainer. I was excited about the journey ahead of me, thinking about my Tyranitar and I working side by side to become the best. I knew that staying home was holding me back and I had to get away. I HAD to start my own adventure, and soon. I was just about done breeding this last Pokemon. And I decided that as soon as I was finished that I would set off to the unknown. And that should be no later than this coming summer. I continued out of the building, surrounded by the crowd of thousands, with a huge grin on my face. I had a lot to smile about.

------------------------2 Years Later---------------------------

Captain's log. Date, unknown. Location, unknown. Status of mission, failed. The ship is breached. I am losing men fast. I am unable to conclude how many days this battle has gone on for. These black clouds have blocked the sun, and all I have seen is the darkness of night for what seems like eternity. I am finding it increasingly more difficult to fight an enemy I have never seen. I have not been properly trained for this sort of thing, neither have any of my men. But the collective effort of all aboard this ship is what has kept us alive this long. Even the passengers have done their part. Men and Pokemon alike have fought side by side, protecting all that we have...... this bloody ship.... All I could have hoped for is that we would have come across land. But its too late now. *Huge explosion* WHAT WAS THAT! OH.....MY.....*static*-End Transmission.

A group of 7 officers and 5 town leaders stood in silence around the player. One woman was in tears, her hand covering her mouth. The mayor leaned against a desk, his head hung low, staring at the ground.

"Was that him...?" asked the sheriff.

"There's not a doubt in my mind. It was Captain Andrews," replied the mayor.

"What should I report to the people?

"Nothing. I will report this tragedy to the community, and the families of those who we have lost." The mayor straightened, and headed towards the door. "Call a town meeting."

Later that evening, the small harbor town of about 3000 gathered in front of the town hall. There was a buzz in the crowd.

"You think its news on the missing SS Charlotte?"

"What else could it be?"

A small group of people exited the town hall and approached the podium. The mayor and the sheriff were amoung them. The mayor walked up to the podium, and spoke softly.

"Today, we received word on the missing SS Charlotte. And that news is far from positive. The details are very small, and I will tell you all that I know. We received a small clip from the Ship's Log. In that clip, Captain Andrews describes how the ship came under attack by an unknown force. The crew fought bravely for days. The outcome of that battle is unknown, but the ship and all on board are presumed........ they're gone folks. The recording was found on shore in Coltsville, a mining town about 300 miles north of here. They had heard of our missing ship, and thought the recording might give us a clue. The voice was obviously that of Captain Andrews. I don't know what else to say folks. We have suffered a terrible loss here. I will leave the families of those lost to grieve. I am asking if any of you would be willing to volunteer to join a search party leaving in two days. If you would like to join, meet me in my office immediatly. This concludes the town meeting. Bless you all."

That night in the mayor's office, the mayor sat at his desk, the sheriff and his deputy's stood along with three town volunteers.

"I had figured it would only be a few of you to volunteer," said the mayor.

"Can you expect much else, mayor? The people are scared of what could be out there," replied the sheriff.

"No, you are right sheriff. I am actually glad its only three of you. Sheriff..... close the door. Men, what I am about to say to you is to be kept only between us. If you feel you can not do that, please leave now. Good, now, this is not going to be a search party, no. This is a going to be a complete investigation at who is responsible for such an attack. I will NOT have this sort of lawlessness in my waters! We are going to take action! I have been in talks with Coltsville, and they have agreed to join us. 1,2....... ok, the 27 of us, thats good. Coltsville's mayor and sheriff are also joining us... along with 50 other men. We will take two of their ships out to sea and find those responsible and make them pay. Bring your strongest Pokemon, and make sure they understand that this is no ordinary Pokemon battle.... THIS IS WAR!......... We leave in two days."

The men in the room all wore stone faces. There was fury in their eyes. The mayor saw that they were ready. Two days.... Two days......

The sun could be seen rising over the deep blue ocean, lighting the surface of the water and making it sparkle, as the group of men from Clark entered into Coltsville. The even smaller community of Coltsville was stirring early, anticipating the big day ahead of them.

"Up ahead is their town hall, men. This'll be a quick meet and then we'll be out of here. Now Tom, you will leave your competitiveness for our enemies, not the local sheriff. I know you, and we did not come here to see who the better sheriff is, got it?"

"Whatever, Jim. Try not to do the same with the Coltsville mayor."

As they approached the center of town, a large group of men stood waiting. One man stepped out to greet the visitors.

"We don't really have the time for pleasantries, so lets make this quick. People of Clark, meet the people of Coltsville, and likewise. Great, now let's go."

The man continued forward through the crowd of Clark visitors and his own group of men followed him. The people of Clark fell in line and followed Coltsville's mayor down to the harbor.

"We will be taking my two most beautiful ships. I've acquired them from all over the world! The SS Anne, and the SS Aqua."

They were beautiful, luxurious cruise ships.

"You know, at least I would have taken the time to do some proper introductions," whispered Jim, the Clark mayor to Tom, the sheriff. "And what are these ships?! Are we going to war or a cruise?"

Tom chuckled. "And so it begins."

"All-aboard!!!!!" shouted the Coltsville mayor as everyone boarded the two massive ships.

"Look at this, he doesn't even board the same ship as me!" exclaimed Jim. "I guess he has left his sheriff in charge of this ship," he said as he nudged Tom.

"Oh well, I wonder who he is."

"ATTENTION!........ATTENTION!!!!!!!!!" screamed a old man near the front of the ship. "Allow me to introduce to you the captain of this ship. The sheriff of Coltsville, Bethany!"

Bethany approached the podium. She was a beautiful young woman. Tall, and slender. She had fair skin, and beautiful blonde hair that came out from her captain's hat and fell over her shoulders like a yellow waterfall. Her eyes were blue and deep. Her lips were a dark red. She could only be described as beautiful.

"Ohhhh, :(:(:(:(," Jim and Tom said in unison. "Well this should be interesting," Tom replied.

"Welcome all aboard the beautiful SS Aqua." Bethany spoke softly and beautifully. "Let us all work equally to ensure this voyage to be as pleasant as possible. That is all I have to say. Please locate your quarters and rest until dinner is prepared."

"How the heck can I compete with that?" whispered Tom. "She is beautiful! The most beautiful woman I have ever seen. I can't compete, all I want to do is submit! I've never felt so useless in my life!"

"Quiet, Tom. Let's enjoy ourselves at their expense while we still can. I hear the people of this town really know how to cook!"

"Oh yes. If there's one thing that can take my mind off of a woman, it has to be food!"

Suddenly, Bethany's voice popped by onto the microphone. "And please, feel free to release your Pokemon from their Pokeballs. We are on a famous Pokebattle cruise ship, let's make a sport of it."

And at that, Pokemon appeared all over the ship, and the voyage began. Before they knew it, they could no longer see land. The farther they traveled away from home, the closer they traveled to me, and the closer they got to total darkness and annihilation. The two ships were sailing into a trap, the same trap that has caught many ships before them. And as night fell, the darkness crept in. But the sun would not rise tomorrow, not for these people.

"Captain's log. But its too late now."

A huge explosion erupted outside the captains quarters. The room began to shake and rumble. "WHAT WAS THAT!" Captain Andrews yelled as he peered out the window, looking over the deck of his ship. What he saw was disaster. Something had triggered an explosion in the large pile of gas canisters on the far end of the deck. The inferno was huge, and was coming fast towards Andrews' cabin, engulfing everthing in its rage.

"OH.....MY....." The cabin was blown to pieces by the explosion, as Captain Andrews dived to the floor. All he could do was cover his head with his hands. The ship was exploading internally, and water was seeping in. It started sinking fast, a huge fiery inferno, falling into the salty ocean.

The attackers fled quickly as the ship exploaded. As the shadows left, so did the clouds. The sun started to peak through the blackness. The sky cleared, and the Wingulls appeared. In the distance, something large could be seen moving quickly toward the wreckage. As the large mass grew closer, something even larger erupted from the ocean surface and landed with a large splash near the sinking ship. It was a Wailord. It began spewing water towards the ship, extinguishing the external flames. The water began running down into the ship, which only helped it sink further. Wailord saw this, and dove into the ocean. He swam under the ship, and lifted it up above the water on his back. He then continued to shoot water through the bottom of the ship, putting out the flames within.

As I approached the wreckage riding on my Aerodactyl, which loved to skim across the water, I could see that my Wailord had done a terrific job. I congratulated him on his efforts. Seeing the ship sitting well on his back, I recommended we head towards our island. Aerodactyl landed on the remains of the ship deck as Wailord started towards our secret island. I recalled the large bird into his ball, and pulled out 3 more Pokeballs. Out flashed Jolteon, Weavile, and Infernape. I concluded that we should split up and look for survivors in the ship. I told my Pokemon to search below, while I check the deck. The three jumped through holes in the deck and disappeared into the darkness below. All three were quite capable of handling themselves. I would be perfectly safe with my Aerodactyl, and my last Pokemon. I saw that the deck was quite plain, with only a small cabin at the far end, which was missing its roof. I approached what used to be the entrance and proceeded in carefully. The room was a mess of paper and wood. Remnants of a PC was scattered about, and a table was upsidedown in the corner. Other than that I saw nothing, until the table moved. I grabbed my last Pokeball, just in case, and reached for the table. I hurled it across the room, underneath it was a man, bruised and bloody, but alive. I bent down to him, and I heard him quietly mumbling...

"The chest.....the chest......the chest...."

So.....I checked his chest. It appeared uninjured. Hairy, but otherwise in good shape. So I asked him, "What chest sir?"

He grabbed me, with both hands around my ribs. "You! You came for the chest! I shall protect it with my life...." A Pokeball rolled out of his pocket and opened. I tossed my last Pokeball to meet it. A Wartortle appeared from his, and from mine... Bane, my Tyranitar.

"Eh" He reached out the ball, and Wartortle returned inside. "Why? Why would you do this?

"Sir, I did not do this. I saved your ship and brought it here, to my island. You are safe now. Can you stand?"

"I think so." And he did, slowly and painfully. We walked out of the cabin, Bane leaving holes in the floor with each step.

"Good thing that roof was already gone, or I'd have you pay for the damages your Tyranitar would have caused," joke the man. "I am Captain Andrews, and we were attacked by...."

"Its okay sir, I know quite well who attacked you. You see, as your men were battling from the ship, I was fighting on the outside, taking out the men that surrounded the ship. You must have something quite valuable to bring these men out of hiding."

Weavile returned, carrying two children, one in each arm. Jolteon returned with a man riding his back, which couldnt have felt too well for the man, the static that builds in that fur is quite intense, trust me. Lastly, Infernape appeared, carrying a large chest in his arms. A group of people were following him up the stairs, obviously trailing the flame on his head.

The dazed group of survivors followed Andrews and I to the shore, and I led them to my camp. There was a lot of explaining to do, and I knew that as soon as they were well rested, they would want it immediatly.

"Tell me, who was it that attacked us?" asked Captain Andrews.

I simply shook my head, "You wouldn't believe me if I told you...."

That night, after the two children were cleaned up and put to bed in the front room of my cabin, Captain Andrews, 14 others, and myself gathered outside by a fire, lit by Infernape.

"Now tell us, boy, what the heck is going on!" stammered a large man who had unfortunately found himself riding the back of my Jolteon earlier.

"Quiet Sam! Don't be so rude to this young man, he saved your life!" responded Captain Andrews.

"Sorry sir, and sorry son...... who DID this?"

The group all leaned in towards me, waiting for my answer.

"Okay. A couple months ago, I was fighting a group of gangsters on a bridge. I didn't fight them in retaliation of anything, but they wouldn't let me cross until I had beaten them all. They came at me one-by-one until I reached the other end. And one-by-one I destroyed them all. And when I reached the other end, one last gangster approached me, and extended his hand, which held an envelope. He twirled his finger in the air, and the group departed. I opened the letter, which was an invitation to this secret Pokemon battle tournament. I had assumed that it was run by this same gangster organization, and that they had some tricks up their sleeve. I didn't care, I was in."

"Wait, wait. What does this have to do with ANYTHING?!" yelled the large man.

"Shut up Sam!!" Captain Andrews responded once again. "Go on Jesse."

"So anyway, there was a map included on the back of the invitation, guiding me to some weird cave by a small lake near Route 214 in Sinnoh. Next were directions of lefts, rights, and straights, and backwards. There were weird statues and an eerie feeling inside. Finally, after however many rooms I had been through, I entered a large arena. Men and Pokemon walked freely. I began to recognize many of the people, famous villains from the past and present.

"There was Cassidy and Butch, self-proclamed new leaders of Team Rocket. Also, Tabitha, Team Magma's new leader; and a former member of Team Magma, The Phantom Thief, Brody. There was Shelley of Team Aqua. And also Saturn, Team Galactic's new leader. There was also the great Pokemon Collector, who seemed to finally find a way to acquire Lugia, along with the three Legendary Birds. And many others that I couldn't recognize.

"I knew this was trouble, but what the heck.... We were all put into brackets, and I seemed to only be there for the others to beat up on. I was pitted first against the Pokemon Collector. Team Magma's Tabitha against his heated rival, Brody. Shelley against Butch. And Cassidy against Saturn. The others were also paired, but I knew nothing of them or their battles. I struggled with that Lugia. But was able to overcome the Pokemon Collector. After a long hard match Brody defeated Tabitha. Shelley and Saturn both easily defeated Cassidy and Butch.

In the next round, I was facing someone I had never heard of before... some weird woman by the name of Jessie. I quite easily destroyed her. After the match, she ran over to a very feminine looking man, and they cried and hugged until a Meowth scratched them both. Then they exited the arena. I found out that Brody had beaten the Aqua leader, Shelley. And Saturn had progressed as well.

After a few more rounds, it was down to four. Saturn, Brody, myself, and a fourth unknown competitor. I had begun to realize a few rounds earlier that a highly tinted glass room was position above the arena, looking down at everything. I could faintly see something small, round, and a bright red through the tint.

In the semi-finals, I faced Saturn, and Brody faced the fourth man. I defeated Saturn, and Brody had lost as well. And in the last match, it was myself and the fourth man. He introduced himself to me only as Blue. He told me that he was impressed by how far I had come through this tournament, and then he winked at me. The following battle was short. I was completely overwhelmed by the immense skill of this man. Everything he did was perfect. And when the battle was nearing its end. He looked over to me and whispered...RUN!........GO! GO! And at that he tossed all of his Pokemon out, and they started to rip through the arena, destroying everything.

I took the final hint.....and ran. I don't know how, and I don't know how long, but I made it out of that cave. I went to the shore, and just started surfing as fast as Wailord could surf. But it wasn't fast enough. Soon each member of the tournament was closing in on me fast. I released my Aerodactyl, but the others could do no good in this water. I ordered Aerodactyl to clutch Wailord with its talons and help it move faster. We did gain speed, but soon, I could feel an intense heat on the back of my neck.... The next thing I knew, I woke up here, alone in this cabin. And for months I've been training on this island to become strong enough to defeat this evil. And when Aerodactly had returned from his daily fishing hunt and told me what was happening to your ship, I came as quickly as I could."

"And here was are..." Captain Andrews responded quietly. "I thank you so much for your help. I'm pretty sure that none of us would have survived had it not been for you and your Pokemon. But in the morning, we must really be on our way home. Our people will be worried about us...."

"What is that?" asked Sam.

"What is what?" replied Captain Andrews.

"That whistle... don't you hear it?"

"No I don't hear a......wait, yes.. I do hear it"

I started to hear it too. It was getting louder and louder. It sounded closer and closer....until the forest around us erupted in a huge explosion. Everyone dived to the ground.

"Pokemon! Return!"

"No...no...not this...not again...." Sam was whimpering against a tree. "I can't fight anymore. Why us? Why me?"

"Pull yourself together Sam! You're the last of my men that I have left. You have to help me and the passengers. You must protect the other passengers! Do your duty!"

And with that, Sam jumped to his feet, and took a deep breath. "Fine, come and get me! I ain't going down without taking 3 or 4 or 18 of you with me!!!"
