Bob looked long and hard at the Pokeball. It seemed to him that it had become slightly larger, as if the Pokemon inside felt it needed more space. He decided to let Uxie out.
“Go, Uxie!” he shouted, as this was what all his trainer idols shouted when they sent their Pokemon out for a round of battling. Uxie got out, looked mildly disoriented for a second, then focused on Bob, and remembered what had happened. (At last! Somebody with the willpower to catch me, even without a battle!) Bob, even though he had caught his first Pokemon, and this was a so-called legendary Pokemon, he felt it didn't really weigh up against the fact that he was lost. He decided to ask Uxie for some help to find a way out.
With Uxie in front, they found their way out of the forest, on the Eterna side of the forest. He ran into the forest, Uxie by his side, and, according to the watchtower, he had 2 minutes to find the boys by the Pokemon Mart. He ran until he felt the taste of blood in his dry mouth, and ran around the corner of the mart. There stood the gang of boys.
(Oh no! Other trainers! I feel a malevolent aura about these people, I must hide. . .)
Bob stood, shaking, in front of the gang.
“How did it go, huh?” The leader of the gang didn't sound interested at all.
“I got a Pokemon.”
“Wha... Umm, okay, show it to us, then!”
“Yeah, sure, come on, Uxie! Where are you?”
“I think your Pokemon is afraid of us, Pokemonless!” Everyone in the gang laughed.
“It is here somewhere...” Bob went completely red, and felt abandoned.
“Doesn't seem like it's here!” The whole gang was getting more serious now.
“But, but...” Bob muttered. He KNEW it was too good to be true. Meeting a legendary Pokemon in the middle of the forest...
“We want our potions. Now.”
“I haven't got the money!”
“What do you mean, no money! You said yes to the deal!” The leader approached, and clenched his fist. Bob braced himself for the punch.
Bob woke up from the sudden light into his eyes. He felt as if he had been dropped down 25 floors and landed on a wheelbarrow of steel, in other words, not well. He looked up with blurry eyes, and saw the contours of Uxie in front of him. He tried to raise up, but his eyes went completely black, so he lied down again. Half an hour or so later, he tried again, with moderate success. Now he saw the bodies of some boys that regretted ever trying to confront the Pokemonless. He looked back to Uxie, and managed to utter a thin “thanks,” before he passed out again.
(I must get him to safety. I smell approaching people)
With psychic powers, Uxie managed to lift the limp body up onto the roof of the Pokemon Mart, and she looked in terror down on all the confusion and fear down there. She read people's mind's, and they were full of fear and anger, and they all wanted to know who had done this. Behind her, she heard Bob was getting up, and she told him to keep still. He crouched down, and crawled on his arms and feet to the edge, where he looked down with Uxie on the chaos. Now even the Name Rater, who was known as a very calm man, joined in, and he told his Houndour to sniff up the people who had done this thing.
“(I have put a veil around us to keep us safe, but it won't do any good if we are seen, so we need to get away)”
“Okay, very good, we could escape of from the back of this building,” Bob whispered, and he added “I need to learn how to interact telepathically for situations like this later”.
“(Very well, if we get time. Let's get away from here first)”
They tried getting to the other side of the roof silently, and then Uxie made them both levitate away. When they were a kilometre away from town, Uxie started getting tired.
“I see you're tired, let's just get down here and get some rest!”
“(Okay, if you say so)”
Bob felt that they went slowly down, and soon he felt the soft grass under his feet. He looked around, and there was nothing to see, except for a person in black standing near a group of trees, watching them...
