Say that PokéFarm has just decided to start a Gym system for it's battling members.

You have been given the opportunity to select the leaders for all 8 Gyms.

Given all your know about the members here, who would you select to fill those positions.

Fen Gym
Relic Gym
Mine Gym
Icicle Gym

Actually, she suggested me/slizer as Beacon Gym Leader. I'd take it if you were leaving but that's it.

I agree these Leaders would be fit for their Gyms in any what-if scenarios.

Really, I thought you told slizer and myself one time you did not want to be a Gym Leader?

Truthfully I started this thread hoping people would post new Gym Leaders and not the current ones. I am going to be leaving the Beacon Gym and was hoping to get some ideas as who my replacement would be.

I truly wanted slizer to take over, but his time difference may hinder that. Plus since someone mentioned my replacement is only 50% up to me. Which I don't agree with that rule 100%, but what else can I do.

I could do like WestCoastNinja did and make a poll to let people vote on the next Beacon Gym Leader. He chose 3 people and held a vote, but for me it would only be 50% my decision. I guess it was 50/50 for him. He chose the 3 people, but the forum voted.

I don't have a time table yet on when I am stepping down. I wanted to step down after qoo battles, which I am at 98 right now. I would also like to wait until 100 wins, which I am at 63 and the way things are going I should be happy just to get to 65 wins.

I have a few big changes coming in real life in about 2 months, so I have to decide if I am going to be able to make the commitment to the Gym like I always have. I cannot be one of those Gym Leaders that we use to have that could only battle on certain days. I remember some of them that said well school is tough this week so I can only battle on these 3 days, please schedule and please no more then 4 battles on those days.

I don't run my Gym that way. I give 100% and battle any time or day. Unless my DS is being repair again because of Nintendo slipping up.

I did say before that I was not sure that you (Shiny Lucario) would be a good choice for a Gym Leader. I know you can battle, but there for awhile you would be on for a day or 2 and then off for a bit of time. I based my decision at that time off of your activity on the site. It seems you are more active now though.

You definitely can battle though.

The battle the other night was awesome. I had like 5 out of you 6 Pokémon near KO, but your switching kept me from finishing the job.

Glad we got that battle in though, shortly after we got some major thunderstorms and my ISP was down Sunday. Still getting major storms around here today, but the ISP is holding strong.

Yeah, that was then when I didn't have enough time to battle a lot of people. I have more time now so I could become Gym Leader if need be :D.

I think this would be a good idea, let the people choose the next leader :D. Or a tournament would be nice as well.

Yeah, if you had Stealth Rock or some sort of Spikes out, you might have one. Or the battle would have least been a lot closer. It was a fun match though :D.

I think Shiny Lucario is entitled to change his mind. If you wanted a nominee for your Gym, then why all this hassle? :roll: I have nothing against Shiny Lucario being the new Beacon Gym Leader, if you retire that is. :) No other Pokemon will be like that Lanturn of yours though... <3

I didn't say anything about him changing his mind. I just said I thought he said one time that he did not want to be a Gym Leader.


As far as this all being a hassle, I did not know picking 8 names would be a hassle.
