Take an Old Amber to the Museum in Oreburgh City. Old Amber can be found rarely by digging in the Underground after obtaining the National Dex.

Aerodactyl is tied for Speed with Jolteon/Crobat. Only Ninjask/Deoxys/Electrode are faster.

Aerodactyl movesets are pretty standard. With the options they do have however, They make a mean Physical Sweeper. Make sure you take note of Choice Scarf's, they will can sweep Aerodactyl easily. Taunt and Fire Blast are on the 2nd set of a noteworth reason. Fire Blast will OHKO Forrestress and Scizor, and 2OHKO Skarmory. With the predictably that a switch is coming from the opponent to a wall, Taunt is there to render the Wall from attempting to setup.

Great writeup. An Aerodactyl I got from and event that WCN had long ago was a staple on my team when I was going for the badges. He still makes an occasional appearance in Boulder. :-D

The thing I've always found funny is it's a part Rock Pokemon and is weak to Stone Edge. Sublte irony. lol

Yes, the Rock Head ability doesn't help it much there. From what I can see it only would help with the move Take Down. If you breed Brave Bird into it that would be nice. Maybe a new ability Hard Rock or something like it to make it immune or 1/2 damage from rock attacks and could break down stealth rock that it also takes 2x damage from.

You can actually use Rock Head with Double-Edge. Sad thing is you can only get that through a move tutor in one of the older games. Though I forgot which one :lol:
