Well the school year has ended for most or is winding down and as everyone’s graduation present I am farming Slowking. They are Slowpokes who by holding a King’s Rock are bitten in the head instead of the tail by a Shellder making them extremely intelligent. They spend all they’re time solving the mysteries of the world (sound familiar students). It is said if the Shellder is removed from its head it will forget everything it has learned. (Kind of like you guys once you get out of school).
Trick Room:
If tests make your head spin, you can relate to this move. Up is down, left is right, fast is slow and slow becomes fast. For five turns the slowest pokemon gets to go first, so Slowking dreadful speed becomes an advantage.
Calm Mind (raises SpAtt & SpDef one stage):
You need a calm mind to make it through your finals and get those term papers in on time and Slowking always stays calm. This move improves his two strongest stats and can make Slowking a defensive wall that can pack a punch.
Psychic (STAB Power 90, Acc 100):
Sometimes it seems that you have to be psychic to know how your teachers want you to answer their questions or what they are looking for in your term papers. (It also helps if you have to guess on multiple choice questions)
Slack Off:
Well I don’t think I need to say to much about this now that school is out. Slowking can regain half of its HP by using this move.
All these Slowkings are like most students, a bit too Sassy (+SpDef, -Speed)
These Slowkings have the ability of Own Tempo keeping them from being confused. If you’ve played with slower pokemon you know how frustrating it is to not even get your first move off because you get confused and hurt yourself.
