So if you breed a shiny Pokemon, will the baby be shiny as well?

So nothing will happen if you breed a shiny Pokemon, other then getting an egg?

Same odds of getting a shiny from an egg as in the wild as far as I know even if a parent is shiny

So even without a shiny parent the egg could still be shiny?

Ok, but if the parent is shiny the odds are the same correct?

Correct unless I get some evidence to suggest otherwise.

I've heard that if you breed shiny pokemon with a shiny ditto, the odds go up. But thats just a rumor, so i can't guarentee anything.

I was breeding some normal trapinches for a move and I got a shiny baby, I was so proud! Mind you, I hatch eggs all of the time and I was close to 2000 hatches of various poke species when I got one, and I consider myself lucky to have ever hatched one at all! The odds are ridiculously high and never (as far as I know) change no matter the circumstance.
