What is the best bird pokemon?

I think starapter is the best, its lightning fast and can take heavy hits without being ko'd the toughest of all the birds in my opinion with the exception of skarmory, but skarmory isnt as fast.

I think Dodrio is pretty nasty. Having a decent Speed and Attack level, along with moderate HP. I also like Farfetch'd, but I think that is more from the anime.

I always forget Swablu/Altaria as bird Pokemon, I think it is the Dragon typing, but I love Swablu/Altaria as a Pokemon catcher. Level them up and keep them with the moves Sing and False Swipe, man thats easy Pokemon catching.

One of my favorites from back in gold silver is Natu/Xatu, with its secondary psychic type. I likes to use it because I could keep something with HM fly on my team that could deal out my beloved psychic move! I don't know why I don't use it anymore, I should try my hand out a nice move set for a farmers market!

You cant rlly count missino as its a glitch pokemon. I think staraptor is one of the best, but it can easily be got around. Fereow is rlly strong and fast.

I used to love Pidgeot, but I've heard people say it really isn't the best poke to use these days, though I don't know as I haven't used it since good old Red and Blue! My favourite now is probably noctowl though - it's kinda cool - looking plus it has pretty interesting moves for a bird pokemon :)

well i have always used skarmory in all major battles including tournaments like the one where i was able to use my skarmory in as a come back against hmtksteve who i am sorry to diappoint in my loss against narnad.

Though I think Skarmory is a great pokemon if used right, you definitely have to be able to use it right. I've battled a couple of them and have never had too much trouble. ;)

Of course if you use yours that often, I believe I wouldn't want to face it.

yes well i have been trying to get my main skarmory, who i always nickname Steel so there are about 30 of them, to get perfect IV in attack and speed or defense or both as well as training it in evs for attack and some speed and defense because those are the most important stats that would help in a battle with it since i have had to cross breed with a staraptor to get brave bird and am hoping soon to get a pokemon that knows sky attack so i can then breed it with my skarmory.
