With Father’s Day just around the corner, The Backward Seven Ranch premier offering will be the wild bull pokemon Tauros. These Jolly (+Speed, - SpAtt) dads are rampaging all the time. They can be stubborn, have a lot of stamina, and like to show off their strength. (Sound familiar to anyone) These proud papas have the following moves:
Return (Normal STAB, Power --, Acc 100) Power goes up as friendship goes up:
Because this is the day to return some of the love and guidance that your father has given you over the years.
Earthquake (Ground, Power 100, Acc 100):
This is for the dads who rock your world, one way or another.
Stone Edge (Rock, Power 100, Acc 80):
This is for the dads with a rock hard exterior, but deep down have a heart of gold.
Substitute (creates a decoy using ¼ of his HP):
While there may be no substitute for your dad, these papa bulls can create a decoy that will prevent status problems that can slow down your rampaging fun. This can be an effective way to activate a Salac berry for extra speed or a Liechi berry for more power.
There abilities are:
Intimidate - One glare from these dads and they’ll lower opponents attack one stage
Anger Point - They can be pushed and pushed until you go to far then watch out. A critical blow will boost their attack six stages to a maximum level.
Tauros is one of the faster pokemon and all these big daddy bulls will have a 31 IV in speed.
I still have several left including 15 with Attack IVs 27 and higher. If anyone wants one please post with what ability you'd like and a name if you like. If anyone received a Tauros at the event and would like me to name it please send it back to me by 6/19/08.
