It was early in the morning when the misses and I were disrupted from our sleep by the sound of very loud music. I looked at her and we both agreed that it sounded as if Micheal Jackson was playing outside of the bedroom window. I quickly got dressed and ran outside with pokeballs and the support of my trusty sidekick Boulevard, my Hypno. Looking around our back yard, there was no evidence of what was causing this strange occurrence. Boulevard and I started toward the edge of the forest boarding the back of the farm. As we got closer, the music got louder.
I pulled out my machete and made my way through some of the dense plant life until I came to a small clearing. Within this small clearing was one of the strangest pokemon I have ever run across. On the ground lay a giant piece of cardboard. As the music had begun to play, this pokemon took it upon himself to start to break dance. Starting off with a quick moon walk across the cardboard, he dropped down to air flare which was perfectly combined into a DOHC air swipe. This pokemon was quite a good dancer!
I looked around to find where the music was so I could turn it off without disturbing him too much. No where in site was there a boom box. Then it came to me, he wasn't in need of a boom box, he was a psychic pokemon and must be projecting it telekinetically to all pokemon and man within the area. Hypno and I walked out into the clearing, noticeably startling the poor fella. Looking at him face to face, this was one of the oddest and quite scariest looking pokemon, Mr. Mime. He quickly started to teeter around, confusing both my Boulevard and I. Then hitting my hypno with thunder wave forced him into submission. In my dazed state, I was lucky and withdrew a pokeball tossing it in Mr. Mimes general direction, eventually capturing him.
Today's offering is Mr. Mime. All Mimes will be Calm nature, have the ability Soundproof and each will have a 31 in the special defense stat. The move set is as follows:
Teeter Dance - 100% accurate to confuse your foe
Thunder Wave - 100% accurate move to paralyze your foe
Substitute - nothing better than to protect yourself using a small toy
Baton Pass - Pass of your protection to another poke to do the damage
Gouswer - (M) Mr. Mime
Guilo - (M) Mr. Mime*
Pikaluva13 - Mr. Mime
Revelp - (M) Matisyahu*
Babael - (F) Sue*
Taylor - (F) Mrs. Mime
Momtaro - IT*
DBB - (F) Mr. Mime
Soccergurl - Mimic*
Rams666 - Mr. Mime*
Deneves - (M) Marceau*
TribalDan - WhackJack
Cleon - Sir Mime
Tourosdude15 - Mr. Mime*
Jolteon Forever - (F) Mimester
Trombone13 - (F) Crossdress*
Nickgamer10 - Mr. Mime*
This is definitely a set to annoy. Nothing is worse than crazy old Mr. Mime taunting your while you can't attack due to the Teeter Dance/Thunder Wave combo. With his very high base Sp. Def. stat it makes it easy for you to switch him in on special attackers and with his decent speed stat allows you to go to work quickly and not be roared out of there due to his soundproof ability. This set is maximized for doubles battles due to teeter dance confusing all other pokemon that are around and would give you a bit of help due to no attacking moves on him.
To pick up one of these guys, make sure to post in this thread so I can use the time stamp to determine who will get one (if I run out). I currently have 15 of these guys to hand out. Anything will be accepted in trades and if you want them named, please post that in your response.
Until next time, I still remain
