Greetings PokeFarm Public!
Whit here, with my 3rd installment of EV trained pokes for all your competitive battling needs! Today I bring you Gengar, mighty Ghost Pokemon.
Gengar has been a favorite since the beginning, giving complete immunity to normal type moves. In the 4th generation, Gengar gains new typing as Ghost/Poison which allows some flexibility especially with the hold item in battle.
With no further ado - here are the stats for Today's pokes.
Whats the Same?
Pokemon: Haunter
Level: 25
Nature: Modest
EV's: 252 SpAtk, 252 Spd, 6 HP
Moveset:
Hypnosis
Thunderbolt
Shadow Ball
Dark Pulse (Keep or Replace with TM52 - INCLUDED)
Ability: Levitate
Ribbons: Effort Ribbon
Hold Item: TM 52 (Focus Blast)
What's Different?
1 26/00/05/30/02/27 - HP Poison - Male (Taken by S Tailor - Congratulations!!)
2 24/18/15/30/12/04 - HP Fighting - Female (Taken by TribalDan - Woo Hoo!!)
3 22/18/09/30/02/07 - HP Poison - Male (Taken by Gouswer - Way to go!!)
4 06/28/24/30/04/04 - HP Fighting - Female (Taken by DragoniteTrainer - Awesome!!)
All of these guys have a 30 IV in SpAtk - unfortunately there are some stats that have just horrible IV's in contrast.
And now, what do you have to do in order to get one of these four spooky beauties? Answer these 4 trivia questions!!
1. Why am I trading you a TM rather than just teaching the pokemon Focus Blast ahead of time?
2. In a gym battle, which hold item would ONLY benefit Gengar and similar pokes?
3. A Ghastly bears a striking resemblance to another character in a different Nintendo franchise - Name or describe that character.
4. There is an odd occurrence in the moves that this family (Gastly, Haunter, Gengar) learns naturally when taking into account its typing. What is it?
I look forward to your responses! - Remember to respond in PM's with your answers. I should be able to reply to most with the number of questions you have right/wrong and telling you to try again - as long as you get one of these PM's you can try again!
Enjoy your time!
I think that my next event may look at something for the Chrysalis Gym challengers!
