This is my first public fan fiction! I hope you enjoy.
Prologue: Captured?
"Pika pika?" The pikachu was very confused as he rummaged through his junk. I know I put it here! he thought as he dug around. I've got to find it before- His thoughts were suddenly cut off as fear flooded his mind. A strong arm gripped him in the middle and pulled him away. "Help!!!" he yelled before the owner of the arm clamped a damp hand over his mouth. As the alarm sounded through the town of Tierce, the mysterious pokemon disapeared into the woods...

A few years later. The former town of Tierce is now the bustling city of Tierce.
Telamaranei (Tela for short) the espeon and her brother Aster the umbreon had just left Aeon, the small village they were born in, to move into their comfy new house in Tierce. It was a long way to Tierce, so Tela decided to quiz her brother about mystery movies, which Aster never watched. "Uh-uh. No way. I am definitely not going to answer that. If I do, you're going to keep asking them until... Until... Well, who knows until when!" Aster said.
"Come on Aster! It's just a trivia question!" Tela replied.
"You know I have bad memory! And I don't watch that kind stuff anyways!" Aster protested.
"If you don't like my idea, come up with a better way to kill time. And don't make excuses. You know you have excellent memory." And the argument went on. And on. And on.
***************************************
When they finally arrived, both of them were tired (although Aster was always tired during the day, since he's more of a night pokemon) and looked forward to a nap in their new house. Unfortunately, they had forgotten the address during the long trek (and argument) to Tierce. As a pachirisu passed by, Tela politely asked for directions. The pachirisu was very nice to them, until they descibed where they moving to. "The house by the old Eletrine Mansion? Um... I don't know. Find it yourself. GOOD-BYE!!!" The pachirisu abruptly turned around and scurried into his house.
"Well that was rude," Aster commented.
"Actually, I think that poor thing was rude only because he was scared of something. I could feel the fear wafting off of him," Tela corrected. "Come on, it looks like the pokemon here probably won't tell us where our house is, so it's probably better to find a map or something." So they headed off to find a map of the town.
Later
"Well, this is it!" Tela said. The siblings cheered up considerably as they admired their new home. They had spent a couple hours searching the small city of Tierce for their house and really wanted to have a snack and a long nap. A really long nap. I know, you might wonder how come it took so long to navigate a "small city". They're just not used to the maze of streets in a place bigger than a rather large village. They used to live in the small village of Aeon, remember? At least they found the grocery store without trouble (thanks to Aster great nose for food) and picked up some stuff to eat. Anyways, the pokemon walked inside to explore their new crib. As soon as they closed the door, they heard a knock.
Aster wearily turned around and opened the door. Probably a neighbor welcoming us. I guess it won't hurt to meet them now, even it we're tired. Aster thought. "Hello! We're your new neighbors. We just arrived today," all the pokemon said at the same time. "Whoa! So you just moved in too?" everypoke asked. "Sorry, you go first." Once again, everypoke said it at the same time.
"Okay, before we do that again, I'm Telamaranei, Tela for short, and this is my brother Aster," Tela said.
"I'm Snow and this is my sister Shock," the glaceon standing outside said, pointing at herself and the jolteon standing next to her. "Come in, come in! We were about to get a bite to eat. Join us!" Aster said, looking at the girls happily.
"Please do!" Tela agreed and elbowed her brother. "Don't get any ideas for a new girlfriend!" she hissed. They sat down for a cup of strong tea, bicuits, and a long conversation.
"Everyone's on edge today!" Snow said. "We tried to get instructions to Eletrine Mansion, and the pokemon totally snubbed us!"
"That's what happened to us too," Tela replied. "I wonder why everypoke in this town is so nervous... Well, on the bright side, we met you two! I suppose I should say welcome to this city, even though my brother and I just got here."
"You guys look tired," Snow observed. "Go ahead and rest. Come to our house at 9 o'clock sharp tomorrow morning for breakfast!" Snow and Shock left and Tela and Aster settled into their beds for a good night's sleep.

This is shaping into what looks to be a very interesting story! Good work!
"Everypoke..." Too funny. :-D

Thanks!:) I got the "everypoke" idea from a book I read. All the characters in it are birds, so they say "everybird" and "nobird" and stuff like that. I just subsituted "bird" with "poke", which is short for pokemon.

PIDGEY! PIDGEY! Tela groggily got up and streched. She looked at her pidgey clock and immediately leaped up after seeing the time. "Oh no! I... I... I think I missed some kind of event..." She mentally reprimanded herself for forgetting whatever she forgot. Tela had never forgotten anything of importance since she was two! She wandered around the house, looking for something. "What am I looking for? Did I lose something? Beside my good memory," she muttered to herself. As she roamed the house, she passed a dark room. There was somepoke sleeping in the bed. She wondered who it was. She didn't remember living with anyone. Always curious, Tela padded softly over to the bed. She peered at the snoring pokemon, but couldn't make out it's face. Suddenly, it grabbed her and shook her hard.
****************************************
"Wake up! Wake up!" Aster was shaking Tela as hard as he could. Tela said several words that Aster couldn't make out. "What are you talking about?!" Aster shouted and pushed Tela off her bed. The espeon's reflexes kicked in and she landed gracefully on all fours. "Huh? Did I miss out on something?" Tela asked as she woke up.
"Finally!!! It took you way too long to get up. We're going to be late for breakfast with Snow and Shock!" Aster said, pulling his sister behind him.
When they arrived at their neighbors' house, nice smells were wafting outside. "Mmmm, is that pancakes I smell?" Aster asked, sniffing the air.
"Yes it is! You have a good nose," Snow replied as she opened the door. Tela and her brother walked in and looked around.
What they saw was a neat house and Shock at the stove with a platter of pancakes. On the table was a bottle of Combee Honey, some fresh pecha berries, and other assorted foods. "Wow, what a spread! It was very nice of you to invite us over," Tela said.
"It was nothing! And anyways, my sister likes to cook all the time, so I don't know what else we would do with all the extra that's always there," Snow said cheerily, showing her guests to their chairs. "Come, sit down, enjoy your chow!"
As the friends ate, Tela related her strange dream to everypoke at the table. "So I was walking around, with no idea what I was doing, and I saw a room with-"
"Pancakes with Combee Honey? Some pretty girls?" Aster interupted.
"No. We're having pancakes now. Not in my dream. Now, as I was saying-"
"How do you know this isn't my dream? A nice dream with pancakes and girls?" Aster interupted again.
"Argh! Look. If this is a dream, your dream sister is telling you that there are some dream girls outside and you can stay there for awhile." Tela said. She was getting frustrated.
"But I want to stay to hear my dream sister tell everypoke about her weird dream dream!" Aster replied. "And besides..." Aster trailed off as he caught Tela's look.
"If you want to stay, stay. Just. Be. QUIET!" Tela exclaimed angrily. Taking advantage of her brother's temporary silence, she finished telling the others about her dream.
"That was some dream. Do you think it means anything?" Snow inquired.
"Well.. I never considered the possibility of that bizzare dream to be anything more than that: a bizzare dream. But I guess it could have some hidden meaning." Tela mused as she finished her pancakes. "I'll think about that. But in the meanwhile, why don't we go buy some nice furniture? We didn't bring much, and the Machoke Movers apparently lost all of our old stuff."

Well, I haven't been able to write much because of art and school and stuff... So, to continue the story.
Chapter 3: Opportunity?
"No," Tela said. "Absolutely not! You think I want that in the house? Well you're just going to have to think otherwise, because I'm certainly not sticking that anywhere. Why do you want that piece of junk anyways?" She continued, gesturing at an ancient sofa that was tye-dyed in which the dye had mixed to the extend that the original pattern was no longer discernable.
"Well.... I like it because it stands out! And because it doesn't match me! And it's cheap!" Aster said absently, as he wandered further down the aisle of Fuzzy Furret's Funiture Shop.
"Well, it's obvious why it's so cheap! The reason I don't want to buy it is for the same reasons that you just pointed out. Usually, when something is so cheap, it has bad quality...." Tela explained. "Watch out for that vase!"
Aster swerved to the side to avoid overturning the vase and breaking it. In the process, he accidentally bumped into an igglybuff, knocking the small pokemon over. "Oh, I'm really sorry! Are you OK?" Aster asked, concerned, and reached a paw over to help the pokemon up.
The igglybuff ignored the paw and bounced up. "Of course I'm OK! Iggy is always OK!" he said, brushing himself off.
"Um, so your name is Iggy, right? Well, I'm sure my brother is very sorry," Tela told Iggy and gave Aster a glare that warned him not to say anything. "I'm Telamaranei, but my friends call me Tela. This is my brother Aster. We just moved here from Aeon."
"Oh, you're new." Iggy said pleasantly. "Um, the pokes who moved to the old Electrine Mansion, correct? You know, they say that the place is haunted. Ever since the heir to the house went missing or got kidnapped or something a couple years ago. Around when I moved into this community. How do I know this? I asked the neighbors. Right now is not the best time to question them about that though; they're always edgy around this time of year. Don't worry, they'll be nice and give you cake, the works. Now, it's about time I left. I've got a top secret meeting to go to!" Iggy was already heading toward the door before he even finished his sentence.
Aster stared after Iggy, trying to process all this information. Tela grabbed him and said, "Come on, we have to see what that meeting is!"

Tela cautiously stuck her head around the corner and immediately jumped back. They had been following Iggy through the meandering alleys of Tierce for an hour, give of take. “If he was late when he left the store, I wonder how late he is now…” Tela muttered. As she said this, Iggy glanced furtively around, then jumped on a rock jutting out of a rock wall. It moved and a door was revealed. He looked around one more time and bounced down the stairs behind the door.
“Um, should we follow him?” Aster asked.
“Of course! I still water to know what this meeting is all about,” Tela replied and grabbed Aster’s paw. They walked over to the rock and tried to pull it down.
“I see why – Iggy – jumped – on – this!” Aster exclaimed between heavy exhales.
“Well, I can fix that problem!” Tela said and promptly leaped up onto the rock, which sank down a little. They went into the tunnel and followed it for another half hour until it widened out into a cave.
Suddenly, a gastly and a machop appeared. Tela was startled, but used Psybeam. The machop dodged the attack and it ricocheted around the cave until it made contact with Aster, who ignored it. The gastly threw a Shadow Ball at Tela, but Aster intercepted it with one of his own. They collided and a huge smoke cloud formed from the impact. Another Shadow Ball burst through the smoke toward Tela. She used Psychic to throw it back it back. They could hear the gastly moaning as the move hit it. Tela grinned just as the machop jumped and used Brick Break. Gasping, she retaliated by using Psybeam. Aster shot Tela a look that said, Be careful and don’t let your guard down! She shot one back that said, I know, I know. The gastly chose to lunge at her at that moment. She used Future Sight as Aster KOed the gastly with Dark Pulse.
“Thanks for watching my back.”
“Hey, we’re related. Gotta do what a good brother does.”
The machop came over and used Focus Blast. The attack caught the siblings off guard and Aster was sent flying across the cave. Aster had gotten the brunt of the move, but Tela was too weak to help him as the machop lumbered over to where her brother was lying. Future Sight kicked in and the machop was blown off his feet. Tela smiled faintly, but her moment of triumph faded as the machop got up, looking angry, and slowly walked toward Tela. She prepared to fight to the death and stood up; wincing all the while. Just then, the machop came careening through the air. She ducked and saw that her savior was a small plusle. Tela limped over to where Aster’s prone form was to make a last attempt to protect him as more hostile pokemon came pouring into the cave. The plusle came over as well. As they prepared to make a last stand, a large cage fell on top of them.

The plusle used Thunder on the cage, shocking everyone inside. “Well, that certainly didn’t work. Next!”
He was about to use another move, but before he could, Tela stopped him. “Do you want to kill us or something?”
“What are you talking about? I wasn’t going to use another electric attack if that’s what you’re worried about. It would probably just shock us again.” The plusle shrugged then said, “In the case that we do die, my name is Light. Just so if any of you survive, you might be able to get the word out to my family… If they’re still alive that is.” Light then threw himself at the iron bars of the cage.
“What? What do you mean ‘if any of you survive’? You don’t think you’re going to live through this ordeal? Why? And at this rate, you’re going to kill yourself, throwing your body at the cage.”
“Hmm? Oh, um, well, uh, well, I didn’t mean to let that slip… I might as well tell you. You don’t seem like the type to let things go easily. You see, I was captured by that lot over there,” Light explained, gesturing to the pokemon standing guard outside the cage. “And they never let anyone go. I’ve seen what they do with the pokes they catch. You don’t want to know. On the other hand, you probably do. I might as well tell you that as well… Seeing as you’ll probably bother me for the rest of my existence in this world if I don’t. Which won’t be long, let me tell you. Well, they throw the captives into a tunnel of light. Not my name, the thing. The noun. The object. Whatever. Anyways, I know that doesn’t sound so bad, but they literally fall to pieces. I think their atoms are jolted apart or something. I haven’t studied it closely, and I don’t hope to. I don’t know exactly what happens, and once again, I don’t want to know. So… Now that I’ve told you some stuff, you might as well tell me who you are.”
Tela looked flabbergasted as Light anticipated and answered every question she was going to ask. “Um, well, I’m Tela. This is my brother Aster. We just moved to Tierce from Aeon and met Iggy, and we followed him here because I was curious about his “top secret meeting”. So it’s probably my fault that Aster’s so hurt…” Tela started to cry as she finished her sentence.
Light attempted to comfort Tela to no avail. “Um… Well… Er…” Having no experience with girls certainly didn’t help him.
A beldum and Iggy walked over. “I’m obviously the boss’s favorite. Have you seen the way he looks at me? And that’s the reason why I can get a piece of scum like you into jail.” Tela immediately stopped crying when the two other pokemon appeared. Looking closely, she could see shackles on Iggy’s small arms. Iggy silently took the trash talk, but Tela could see that he was very upset. “So, you want to know why I get to do this? Oh, wait, you probably don’t. Too bad, I’m going to tell you anyways. It’s because you stood up for the experimenting specimens, so you have lowered yourself to their imperfection. In this way, you shall be used for the greater good, to help the boss and me!” The beldum continued to babble on.
“Well, look what came out of the scrap metal pile!” Aster hissed weakly.
“Hey! Who said that?” The beldum yelled as she digested what Aster said.
“Aster! You’re awake!” Tela exclaimed softly to avoid attention.
“Well, I don’t see why I don’t have to be,” Aster replied. “What I really need is some food.”
“Answer the question. Who. Dared. Insult. The. Great. Alice,” The beldum said again, this time her voice low and menacing.
“I did, Alice! Iggy piped up, emphasizing the name to mock her.
“No you didn’t. I know that they did. You really should stop trying to protect the weaklings.” Alice sneered and stared at the three pokemon in the cage.
“It was really me,” Aster said petulantly. “You deserved it too, you self-centered piece of junk.”
“Wait until I deal with you. You’ll wish you never–“ Alice began, but stopped as a dusknoir entered the cave. “Good morning sir! How are you this fine day?”
“Close it Alice. What are you doing with our guests and Iggy? You were aware that Iggy was to bring them here, correct?” The dusknoir said. “Iggy! Thank you for getting our friends here! And I am sincerely sorry that they caged the the two of you, but that plusle there cannot be allowed escape and you happened to be in the same spot as he was in. And some of our staff here jump to conclusions whenever a new comer arrives. But welcome to my humble domain!”
“Wonder how Alice feels now. So much for ‘the boss’s favorite’ pokemon,” Aster whispered.
“So, let’s go on to business matters, shall we?” The dusknoir continued. “My name is Iorre. You probably don’t trust me, but then again, most pokemon haven’t since the incident with… The Dusknoir. Tela the espeon and Aster the umbreon, correct? And that plusle would be Light… The one I need to send with you two and Iggy. But, that is not important. Please, come this way.”
The cage lifted and several more pokemon appeared and surrounded them. They proceeded to another cave. Inside it, there was a tunnel of light.
“Now, to travel to another dimension! There are 4 main dimensions, or parallel universes, to our world. One is this one, with only pokemon. Another have both humans and pokemon, and exist side by side fairly peacefully. One of those has shadow pokemon and the other doesn’t. The last dimension is one where pokemon exist only in the dreams of humans.”
“Wait one second. I thought humans have long since left this world to where High Lord Arceus placed them, in a different, maybe better, place?” Tela pointed out.
“So true, little one. That is what the lore says. But remember we’re talking about different dimensions. Have you ever felt like you didn’t belong? Not just a feeling, but a true instinct. That is because you, your brother, Iggy, Light, and I are actually from one of the dimensions in which there really are humans. I have been experimenting with some pokemon so we may go back to where we have originated. This is the fruit of my labor,” Iorre replied, gesturing at the light tunnel.
“I was afraid you were going to go. GUARDS!” Alice shouted. Dozens of pokemon began to pour into the cave.
“Now, now, Alice and everyone else. It is no need to worry. Alice shall be the leader in my (perpetual) absence.”
“I don’t want to be leader! Don’t you see? I loved you! Now you’re going to leave. I’m not going to allow that. I’ve spent the past year getting these pokemon to listen to me, so in a sense, I’ve been in charge all along. You will love me back no matter what you think!” Alice retorted and tears started to trickle out of her single red eye. “No matter. Bell! To me!” Bell, another beldum floated over. Then Alice and Bell started to glow, then fused together. When the light diminished, they were no longer beldum, they had become a Metang! “You see, I have all the strength of poor, dumb, Bell. But my brains come out on top. You shall submit!”
“We’re lucky there is not another Metang in my service,” Iorre said quietly.
“Alice, or Alicebell, or Bellalice, or whomever, is lucky that they aren’t rusting from all those tears,” Aster muttered.
“Go! Into the tunnel! I shall try to hold them off!” Iorre roared as the pokemon charged.
The four pokemon dived into the tunnel not a second to soon. Once they were in, they could see that the tunnel was blocked on the entrance end by the raging Alice. She pulled everything down and Tela knew no more.

Yeah, haven't written for a long time. Over two months apparently.
Chapter 6: Araine?
The first thing Tela heard was humming. Comforted by the familiar tune, she opened her eyes and saw a wooden ceiling. The past events flooded back into her mind. Aster. Where’s Aster?
“You’re awake!” A girl with black hair and brilliant green eyes turned and held a bowl full of a delicious smelling brew out to Tela.
A human?! Tela looked at the girl, alarmed.
“You’ve never seen a human?”
You can read my mind?! I don’t remember reading anything in the textbooks about that…
“Oh, you mean telepathy. That’s what you have. Since you’re a Psychic pokemon, I shouldn’t be too surprised. It’s pretty rare though, even then.”
Telepathy…
“You should be able to control what you broadcast soon. Just in case you have any embarrassing thoughts, you should wait and think them later. It would do you good to practice a bit on me.”
Okay. Where’s Aster?
“Aster?”
My brother. He’s an umbreon.
“Oh, I never introduced myself! I’ve been known by many names, but here, I’m Araine. Your brother, Aster, right? He’s over there.” She said, gesturing to a corner where Aster was warily watching her.
Tela breathed out in relief. I am Tela. The plusle and igglybuff that came with us are Light and Iggy, respectively.
“Them? I think they’ve already left. They were in much better condition than you and your brother were in. Speaking of which, you should drink this.” Araine placed the bowl of medicine in front of Tela.
What’s in it?
“Cheri and pecha berries.”
Tela drank it quickly and pushed the bowl away with her nose. Aster darted over and asked, “Where are we?”
Tela coughed a little and replied, “I don’t know. I’ll ask… Araine.”
“Is that the human’s name?”
Tela nodded. Where are we?
“So, you’re obviously not from here… This is Sinnoh. Where are you from?”
“How can you converse with her?” Aster asked curiously.
Tela shrugged then continued to answer Araine’s question. Eon is our hometown, and we had just moved to Tierce before finding ourselves here.
Araine raised an eyebrow at the foreign names, but didn’t comment on them. “Welcome, I suppose, to the Eterna Forest.” She said, looking out the window. “I should have taken you to a Pokemon Center, but there isn’t one anywhere close. Since you’re both strangers here, why don’t you travel with me for a while?”
Not in a pokeball.
“So you do know some things about this place. Sure. I don’t ‘own’ you though, so I can’t protect you that well from other trainers. Just beware the pokeballs. Let’s start off with a battle!”
“What did she say, what did she say?” Aster inquired impatiently.
Tela relayed the information to him. “So, are you up for a battle?”
“Sure! As soon as you tell me what a battle is!” Aster said excitedly.
Tela groaned and explained everything she knew about battles. “If only you listened in class.”
“Yeah! I’m game!”
We’re ready.
“Okay then, a tag battle! You two against Fei and Terra Nova. Fei is a flygon and Terra Nova is a torterra.” Araine let the two pokemon out of their balls. “I hope you don’t mind having to fight against bigger pokemon,” she said apologetically. “But I’m trying to make it fair. These two haven’t worked together very long, so it should be easier.”
They went outside to a clearing in the forest. Aster was bouncing around. “Can we go first?” he asked.
“You guys can start,” Araine said at the same time.
“There’s your answer.”
Aster threw a Shadow Ball at Fei which Tela helped power with Psychic. Fei used Steel Wing and cut through the Ball as she hurtled toward Tela. Tela dove out of the way, but one of Fei’s wings grazed her tail. Tela concentrated and used Future Sight before whirling around to rejoin the battle. Terra Nova sent a Solarbeam at Tela, who used Psychic to pull herself out of the way. The Beam hit Aster instead, who was right behind her. Grunting, Aster shot a Shadow Ball at Terra Nova. She hurled an Energy Ball at it. The two Balls collided and a massive cloud of smoke appeared. Tela looked around, wondering where everyone was. Leaf Storm cut through the smoke and hit Tela head on. Future Sight activated and hit the now visible Terra Nova. The smoke was suddenly sucked into a vortex which was heading straight toward Aster. It was Fei, using Sandstorm and Steel Wing at the same time. She slammed into Aster and he went flying into the air. When he landed, he immediately used Dark Pulse. Tela used Psybeam and the two moves fused together. It was heading top speed at Fei, who simply used Sandstorm, which absorbed the moves. The flygon’s wings began to shine and dark and rainbow colored light swirled around the pokemon. Fei raced toward the two siblings, accelerating further when Terra Nova used Leaf Storm to back her up. She landed a direct hit on both of them. They flinched.
“Okay guys, the battle ends here.” Araine called out, stopping the battle. “We don’t want you guys to get too injured.”
Fei spun in a circle and stuck out a claw. “Nice to meet you both. You guys work really well together.”
“You put up a great battle,” Terra Nova said.
“Nice to meet you guys too. Were you holding back?” Aster asked.
“What? No. I personally work better with Lei. She’s been with Araine and me the longest,” Fei replied.
“I’m the newest to the team, besides you two. Fei is practically ancient. She’s Araine’s first pokemon.”
“Hey! Who’re you calling old? I’m only twelve.”
Tela laughed. “I’m Tela and my brother there is Aster.”
“Oh, I see, you’re siblings. It explains how well you guys work together.”
Tela grimaced. “Not nearly as well as you two and you’re not related.”
“Practice pays off. Remember you’re working together and not as separate units.”
“We’re going to get along just fine, I can tell.” A pachirisu bounced over. “Hi! I’m Lei.”
“Guys! Let’s move!” Araine yelled, already several meters ahead of them on the path. They trooped off under the shining sun.
