In my Pokemon Ruby, I have a killer team but their level's aren't strong enough to get through Victory Road let alone The E4, is there any way to quick train them without spending hours killing lvl 20 tentacool and manetric?

everyone takes there own path but when I have a pokemon game I train like crazy before I take on the elite four. I dont exactly have any tricks for ya but i will do some research. In the meantime just find a patch of grass or a trainer that is up to your level and start training

I'm having that same trouble. I tend to trian in Victory Road. Make sure you beat every trainer and then just battle the pokemon. They are usually in their higher 30s or low 40s. I train their whenever I need level boosts. OR if you don't mind loosing a bit, You might think about just going through the elite4 as far as you can. This has definite pros and cons. Pros: you learn the order of their pokemon teams and how they battle with them. Cons: you loose lots of your money and your pokemon might not like you after a couple times. You could do a little of both ideas too. You might also thing about stocking up on protien and the like before taking on the 4. Also when you are finally ready to take them on for real, stock up on potions and revives. I go through a lot in just one shot. If you can get pp restore (or whatever its called) that will be a big help too.

yea I should have posted I have a:

Swampert lvl 47
Machoke lvl 44
Menetric lvl 40
Swellow lvl 44
Torkoal lvl 42
Wailmer lvl 39

Any sugestions? I'm training machoke on migtyena and torkoal on snorunt and spheal. I want my wailmer to evolve soon and I think, My swellow is alittle lacking defensivly.

I just reread your first post and realized my first advice won't help much. I suggest protien and the like. Have you gotten Groudon yet? I caught him before going to Victory Road and he was a big help. You might think about adding him to your party. I didn't think and Pal Parked him over to my Diamond and wish I would have left him there. If you can, battle friends that have beat them or are at the same level as you. I can't think of anything else, except to start through Victory Road and just battle the pokes as much as you can. Levels range from about 36-42 The highest I have seen was 42 so I'm only assuming that is the highest. I hope this helps more than my previous one. One last note, Victory Road has many rock pokemon. You might need to rely on you Wailmer a lot for that.

Yea Victroy road I forgot that the levels are lower than in D/P, I was thinking I was going to get my but kicked by a lvl 50 golbat, don't forget swampert is water and fighting is 200% on rock, so I'm ok. The only reason I don't use Groudon is that I rely too much on him, and I want a decent team instead of a jumbled mess of weaknesses to one type. I found that there is a Gentleman on the route beside Lilycove City, 112 I belive...and he had a lvl 42 Manetric so he helps in Leveling up my Swampert.

Cool! Let me know how it goes. I'm trying to build a good team for Emerald so I'm pretty much in the same boat you are. If I find any more tips I'll be sure to share.

Ya go to the daycare put the pokemon inthere then go to the desert go to the mud slide and run up it as fare as you can on foot. Doing this for as long as you want and your pokemon wil grow fast and strong.

Or do this but continue to train your others elsewhere. That way when you walk you are leveling up the daycare ones and when you go into battle mode you are leveling up the ones in your party. Hmm maybe I should try this. Just keep in mind that at the level your pokes are it will take many steps to level them up. (It will give you plenty of time to train the others.) Also, if you wnat to know their levels just go like you are going to take them back but then press the B button and cancel after you have looked.
