This is a team I constructed a while ago. I'm nt sure if it's any good so please give your feedback.

This is a team I constructed a while ago. I'm nt sure if it's any good so please give your feedback.

Toxicroak@Life orb:454:
252atk/6def/252speed
Dry skin - Adamant
rain dance
cross chop
stone edge
sucker punch
Not much wrong really except, I really wouldn't go with rain dance. Toxicroak is too fragile to use rain dance. I think the best option is to put put poison Jab in and then run either a choice band or scarf
Ludicolo@ leftovers:270:
252hp/76 sp atk/ 180 speed
?????? - Calm
Leech seed
surf
toxic
Protect
Protect probably isn't the best of moves for this guy. You could run Raindance on here rather than on your Toxicroak

Electrode@ Damp rock:101:
252atk/28 sp atk/ 228 speed
______- Hasty
Rain Dance
Explosion
Thunder
Taunt
Taunt confuses me  I'd not run a thunder and rain dance combo. I can see that you want to run Rain dance support but you have only a few sweepers on the team (no special ones ; You will get walled by a physical wall)

Swellow@ flame orb:277:
255speed/255atk
Guts-Jolly
Facade
air slash
protect
U-turn

Nothing to fault really. Just a normal Guts swellow
Donphan@ Earth plate:232:
252hp/6atk/252 def
Sturdy - Impish
Rapid spin
Earthquake
Ice shard
Stealth rock
Nothing much to fault here either as it will serve a nice wall

Hitmonlee@ Choice scarf:106:
252 atk/252speed/ 6 def
Limber- Jolly
Earthquake
Blaze Kick
Reversal
Stone edge
Since your sticking to UU, a good sudgestion might be syther. Kabutops could be a nice one. I got owned by one yesterday. Anotother one could be aerodactl. Either way, your choice :D

That's the team I made from who knows when...I'm not sure about Ludicolo' ability because everywhere I read that swift swim overpowers Rain dish...I'm not sure...Rate away!

Those are my suggestions

So your saying get rid of toxicroak and use a special sweeper? What pokemon works for that?

Whitdjinn

anything with high sp attack and speed with a good movepool.

Yep. If you want to wait a week, I can send you a timid abra with a nice moveset and 31 in speed

I know you were doing them so yes I will wait 1 week... so toxicroak gets the boot! and s tailor taunt is for those who know that electrode sets up a rain dance for the thunder, Swellow is the starter, protect and flame orb activates, U -turn to electrode (they won't use EQ because swellow is a flying) use taunt, then rain dance and continue to thunder the :(:(:(:( out of them, or switch to Ludicolo. I agree with Ludicolo for rain dance, I read this off a page I made and I didn't make any changes.

Smogon *coughcoughcough* lol I see where you are going. I haven't got round to getting masses of abra partly because I'm lazy (lol) Right now I'm sticking to my team :D

Alakazam@_____:065:
255sp atk/ 255 speed
Syncronize- Timid
Focus Blast
Shock wave/ charge beam
Psycic
Energy ball
While I like the Charge Beam Gimmick, you're loosing your most effective attack against other psychics, I suggest either getting rid of Charge Beam or Energy ball for Shadow ball. If you don't Cressy will totally wall, and set up on you.

Ludicolo@ leftovers:272:
252hp/76 sp atk/ 180 speed
?????? - Calm
Leech seed
surf
toxic
rain dance

Either ability is fine, though being able to out speed things in the long run iis much better. Note Venusaur and Empoleon wall you

Electrode@ Damp rock:101:
252atk/28 sp atk/ 228 speed
______- Hasty
Rain Dance
Explosion
Thunder
Taunt

It looks fine

Swellow@ flame orb:277:
255speed/255atk
Guts-Jolly
Facade
air slash
protect
U-turn
You'll probably be wanting to use Brave Bird or Aerial Ace instead of Air Slash(it's a special move).

Donphan@ Earth plate:232:
252hp/6atk/252 def
Sturdy - Impish
Rapid spin
Earthquake
Ice shard
Stealth rock

Hitmonlee@ Choice scarf:106:
252 atk/252speed/ 6 def
Limber- Jolly
Earthquake
Blaze Kick
Reversal
Stone edge
You'd get better results abusing reckless, it would allow you to sweep better late game

Your team has a serious Chomp weakness, you don't have anything to effectively take it down. Donphan doesn't count, Garchomp will just set up on it. Dance-Orb Lucario also sweeps your team, if it dances it's game over for you.

I have found that Hitmonlee takes care of a Dance-orb Lucario, and yes now I see it...Garchomp totally inhilates my team...I should get something with ice beam...or ice punch...I'll look into it

Actually if it dances, LO Lucario will Extreme Speed Hitmonlee and several of your other pokemon to death. It only needs one dance to get this done. Even Donphan is OHKOed provided they have hazards up. Again these are just suggestions.

But if hitmonlee hits first, using Close Combat, Lucario is dead. i have found some solutions to my Garchomp problem, Gorbyss, Floatzel, Gyrados, Glaceon, Weavile and Walrein. all take Chomp with ease. Plus others that are just ice type.

Or to cover Dance-orb Lucario, Jynx...has psycic and ice moves...

If you say so...as for your Garchomp counters, you'll have to figure out what variant of Chomp you're trying to protect yourself from. From the way your team is built you'll always be open to one of Garchomp's sets. Then again, this is the case for most teams.

Well I have a shiney buizel with decent IV's so I'll use floatzel, ice fang FTW! But who should I get rid of...? I would think donphan but he's my rapid spinner... I'll have to find an ice beaming rapid spinner....

Alakazam@_____:065:
255sp atk/ 255 speed
Syncronize- Timid
Focus Blast
Shadow ball
Psycic
Energy ball
Good basic Zam. Try to get a good Hidden Power type and power to replace Energy ball, if you cant then just use energy Ball. Have it have Wise Glasses on.

Ludicolo@ leftovers:272:
252hp/76 sp atk/ 180 speed
?????? - Calm
Leech seed
surf
toxic
rain dance
Make it's EV's.....252Hp/56 Sp.Atk/100Sp.Def/100Def. Make it have Rain Dish ability. Take out Rain Dance and put in Fake Out to get rid of Focus Sashers. And since another poke already has Rain Dance....yea.. lol
Electrode@ Damp rock:101:
252atk/28 sp atk/ 228 speed
______- Hasty
Rain Dance
Explosion
Thunder
Taunt
Make it's EV's....252 Speed/56 Sp.Atk/200 Hp. Take out Taunt for Thunder Wave. And make it Timid.
Swellow@ flame orb:277:
255speed/255atk
Guts-Jolly
Facade
Brave Bird
protect
U-turn
Good.
Donphan@ Earth plate:232:
252hp/6atk/252 def
Sturdy - Impish
Rapid spin
Earthquake
Ice shard
Stealth rock
Make it's Ev's.....252Hp/56 Atk/200 Def. Everything else is good.
Hitmonlee@ Choice scarf:106:
252 atk/252speed/ 6 def
Limber- Jolly
Earthquake
Blaze Kick
Reversal
Stone edge
No need to make it jolly with that item. Make it Adamant and it's Ev's....
252 Atk/156 Speed/100 Hp. Instead of Reversal, use Close Combat.

His Electrode is hasty so that the power from Explosion won't be affect by a Attack- nature. Taunt is there to stop pokemon from setting up on it. He needs a taunter on his team. Besides, Thunderwave is an invite for E-vire.

Thats why it's there! most pokemon try to set up on the first attack, and thats why he has taunt, I have learned from shoddy that alot of pokemon have either hypnosis or a status inducing move. Taun prevents that, then followed by a raind dance, and then a thunder if it survives the next attack, if it does BOOOM!:D

There's only 1 thing left to say. Replace Damp Rock with Focus sash so it deosn't faint after using explosion.

The Focus Sash doesn't save an exploding pokemon.

As former Beacon Gym Leader I can say e-vires terrify me! I never used one but I cant tell you how often id power up their motor drive. :(

That and Dusknoir, except dusknoir literally scares me. *is creeped out by dusknoir*

In regards to your team Id say try it out. I always like to play test tweak etc. Find best combos and how things mesh.
