When challenging the various gyms can one pokemon hold a shell bell and an other hold leftovers? Both are hp restoring items. Any input would be appreciated:)

Great answer Nana. Yes, each team can have one of each item to hold. they may have similar effect. example: black sludge for a poison pokemon is like a leftover and a toxic orb to a poison heal pokemon is also like a leftover. Shell bell only heals if you land a hit.
