Feedback on matches so far?

Please post any feedback you've got about matches that you've completed so far, or any issues you've come across that DON'T have to do with absences?

ahh, i have to say it, 2 of my peeps were :eek: when i brought deoxys-E out. Legendaries are part of the OU metagame and well, expect the worst out of the opponent. :twisted:

Annie, you had a great team. I hate your dragonite, but it was a joy to battle with you. Our was a great way to kick off this league. :-D

Magma, our first two battles were great! I can't wait to get the third one in so that we can post the results. Both were close and great fun to do! :-D I love your shiny pokemon, I think that's it's great that you battle with one. Maybe I will someday, if I ever catch one with decent IV's. lol

As I have previously stated, I am completely against using any legendaries. I used to be into legendary battles, but I lost all interest in doing it because it bore me to death. I honestly do not believe that it takes any skill whatsoever to battle with them. I would not have allowed them, but this is your tournament, thus I must follow your rules.

As a personal thing, I'm not using legendaries either. They are there to look pretty in my boxes and not to be battle monsters. If I see one, then I'll do my best to KO it with my pokemon and hope for the best. I haven't seen one yet, but I know it will happen eventually. I look forward to seeing the first, actually. I saw my first shiny used in this league/tourney thing. ^_^ It was awesome!

I don't expect to win any battles; all I want to do is have fun. I hope that other people are in it for the fun and not just the cut-throat competition.

Of course all you can do is do your best to KO it. It's just extremely difficult when you come to the end of a battle and you have to go up against something with a base speed of 180 and base attacks of 95.

I agree, but it's just part of the rules. If they put in the time and patience to restart to get a legendary with the right nature, and then they spend time to EV train it and then throw away TM's then I suppose they deserve a chance to use it. I can really see both sides of it and I've made a choice on the matter that works for me. Let everybody else do what they want. :-D

I don't want to really impose on anybody using legendaries. If you want to then go for it. If not then join the club. lol

My second match was the hax gods vs me O.o. The first move my opponent used critted, and the second one froze me. Then after I switched my frozen pokemon out, the third move froze my pokemon that switched in TT.TT

I lost my match. I would have one but...... I wore down his team with my awesome ice type cuo coverage team. I got him down to his final poke, the score was me up 5-1 then my opponent whipped out Deoxys speed form wiping out every bit of my remaining pokes, I think that was a little unfair but that's the rules.

Next time I might decide to do that though:wink:

Lots of ppl on Smogon ,which is the big competitive battling site, are against Deoxys E beeing OU. He's way too good late game, having a good moveset,decent offensive stats, and insane speed. I myself dont like him :sad:. PF hasnt updated its tier system since way before platinum was announced =S.

Well, I had all three of my matches. I joined the tourney to practice battling different pokemon. Since I'm still a rookie, what better way :)
I'm using my pokemon that I use to challenge the gyms. Oh no :eek: I gave away my secret :sad: :lol:
I'm having fun and learning all in one :mrgreen: Who could ask for more :)

Well, I figured I could give some feedback on how my matches have been going, since I joined late and all.

So far, things have been going very smoothly, I'm doing well in my matches and I should have no trouble catching up to everyone else in the coming week.

Man that battle against Seth had me biting my nails the whole way thorugh. The first battle I got extremely lucky, but I still lost =[. The second battle my Stone Edge missed, and he critted my physical wall TT.TT, I was finished then. Good Games =D
