Yeah? That just means the liklihood of you taking over a Gym is even lower!

I come from Ultima Online where spamming means something completely differant. Like starting a thread asking to take over for any Gym Leader if they cannot battle, when the Gym Leader should be the best judge of who should and not someone asking for it.

BugCatcher, I agree with you. Especially spamming with repeated 2 word posts.

I don't want to take over this thread by posting off topic stuff, but I am just so I don't have to make a new thread. There is a lot threads I consider spam as well. Like in say General Trades, someone starts a thread trading Starter Pokemon and go on to say I have all starters post here if you want one. The the next 3 or 4 newest threads are Looking for Cyndaquil, Need Squirtle, Anyone Have Treecko, and I Want Bulbasaur, just examples. Please people read threw the post first or use the Search Forum function. I know that when I do a new Minor Market I start a new thread for each Pokemon I am breeding and others for the most part will use the same thread for multiple Farmed Pokemon. I just like to start a new one for each Pokemon to keep from having to look threw pages of old Pokemon to get to the new one. Most of my Minor Farms get to be 4, 5, 6, or even higher. That has to do with a lot of posting back and forth asking for a Pokemon, thanking people, and organizing times for trades. That is why I ask people to PM, but that does not always happen and that's O.K. Would it be cool to have a Forum section that is C.W.A. Stables and I was the only one that could start threads and post on it, yes that would be cool. It would cut down on number of clutter post and force people to PM. But I don't think that would be fair if I or other Farmers had their own sub-forum just for their Farms.
Also I would also like to ask HMTKSteve if there is away that old threads that no longer are needed can be deleted or archived away? I mean in the Farmers Forum after I do a Minor Market after about a week the thread is no longer serving a purpose. I am not trying to run your forum, just thinking about keeping it clean and running smoothly. I know on Serebii they had problems with so many repeat post that they now have it if you start a new thread it must be approved by a moderator, and I am still waiting for a thread I post from 3 months ago to get approve, well maybe the moderators from Serebii felt my question was not important enough for a spot on their forum. Their reasoning behind why they must approve the thread is, with so many repeated threads that it slowed the site down, and this was away to keep it running quickly, I still have nights when I want to check the forums on Serebii that it will not even load. I don't even pretend to know what goes into running a forum site, but I am sure it is a lot.

Yeah that would be awesome. XD

Well, in MyFastForums, they have an option called "pruning" where threads that haven't been touched for a certain amount of time can be deletd, I believe. Not so sure about this type of forum though, as I haven't run one like this in a while. X3 Iono, I might check...

Wow, that really sucks. XD I did check out the Serebii.net forum one time, and it had SOOOO many threads, I was just like, "Woah, I don't wanna check all this out." XD
But anyway, I'm pretty sure that threads can be pruned here as well. I'm not so sure about individual posts though. If you want to clean up your farm, Buzz, you'll probably just have to start a new thread for it and ask HMTKSteve to prune your old one entirely. Unless if there's some other way to clean it up or if he's diligent enough to delete the posts one by one... XDD

That is what I was asking. I don't mean each post, just the Thread itself. Like my New Location For Spiritombs thread, event is over, so it is o.k. to delete the entire thing. Same for The New C.W.A. Stables, the Thread I started for Drowzee Minor Market. I don't mean go deleting every Thread that has had no post in a month or so, because in the questions sections old questions can help new people or remind current members. However the Trades section like Missed Farming Events, General Trades, and Forum Farm could have alot of old trade Threads deleted to clean it up and keep searching easier. I will use my Spiritomb thread again as an example, that event happened 4 weeks ago I believe and I have since done 2 other Minor Markets. I repost some of the Spiritombs in a Thread to attempt to get leftovers from all 3 of my Minor Markets out to anyone wanting extras or a first one. So the Thread for Spiritombs and Drowzee is out-dated.
Again I never ran a forum, so I don't know what is put into running one.
Ah, it's not so hard. What I'm not sure about though if there is an option to prune the forum by section and not as a whole for this type of forum. =/ But I'm sure HTMKsteve can help you out if you drop him a PM. =3

I'm against deleting old threads but I have no problem locking them.
