Really the main reason I picked Piplup was that Torterra and Infernape are really creepy looking and Empoleon is quite cute :mrgreen:

I picked Piplup because I wanted a water starter, and I wanted to name it Opus because it's a penguin (any Bloom County fans here?). I'm glad I went with him because Empoleon is quite impressive!

To be honest, I don't think any of the Sinnoh starters have been as good as their older counterparts.

In pearl that I just got the other day, I chose piplup, but it seems he doesn't learn very many good moves until after he evolves. Turtwig learns razor leaf pretty quick, which is useful at the first gym.

Herley is from last season. He was May's rival

If you dont have an AR it wont work.
I wouldnt know where to enter it though. Ive never used action replay.

Yeah, but there are certain glitches that can harm your file, I don't remember which ones though.

Back in the days of silver/gold/crystal my cousin had (not an action replay but something very similar) and her games were always fine.
But I've heard other people who have used things like action replay and it's completely ruined their game.
Not even just their save, their actual cartridge.

I guess it just depends how much you want whatever you're after.
