I just wanted to ask how everyone goes about storage for your Pokemon. There is 18 boxes with 30 slots in each for a total of 540 Pokemon. I have seen pictures of a living Pokedex.Meaning 1 of every Pokemon saved in game not just in your Pokedex, just like a Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, Venusaur, and so on until #493 Arceus. Well that leaves 47 spots left over, but wait you could have a Unown box there is 28 Unown, but wait there is more, 3 different Burmy and 3 different Wormadam, but wait there is more 2 different colored Shellos and Gastrodon. That is a total of 531 leaving just 9 open slots. I always try to have a male and female version fo the Pokemon I catch, so keeping one of every Pokemon and gender is a bit tricky. They really need to make a Pokemon Box for the new Generation of games, but that would be for the Wii, which I do not own right now.

So how do you decide which Pokemon to keep? How do you organize them? I go by types. I have Pokemon Box, so I can always keep tons of Pokemon on the GameCube and then Pal Park ones I need for breeding.

i keep them by type, and normally only keep the furthest evolved evolution (if that makes sense?) i.e. get rid of any pineco's if i have a foretress, cause if i need them i can just breed.

the only reason id keep none evolved ones is if they are good for trading (i.e. starters or relatively rare ones, but theyd eventually get traded away anyway =o) or have good ivs.

I'm only on Box 8 at the moment, but I feel your pain. Maybe if they bring a new Pokebox out, they can link it to Pokemon battle revolution.

It would be nice if they could add something to the Wii for storage. Make it even bigger then Pokemon Box was. Pokemon Box had to use a memory card. The Wii has a hard drive right? Wonder if they could make some kind of storage device using the GBA slot?

I've pretty much run out of space, considering all my personal breeding projects, dittos, unowns etc. I've been considering purchasing another diamond/pearl just for storage :sad:

A storage device for the wii would help so much!

Yikes, I know I'm not buying the same game just for the sake of stotage... Maybe if they made a cartridge that's FOR STORAGE ONLY. Not really a game, but like a memory card... or a super giant PC... =/ and it should be a GBA cartridge so you can just settle for dual-slot function and not have to buy another DS. And hopefully no need for Pal Park... It gets old, you know... XD One thing I was really disappointed with in D/P is that you could no longer store items in your PC. Buuuuut ball capsules are pretty fun too! XD

And i have like 20 of all my bred pokemon so i doubt i will have enough space in my boxes... L-(

i have literally no space left. i had to release some of my bred pokemons.
i have separate boxes for Events, Shinies, Legends, Level 100, and others.
i also try to keep only the last evolution as well since i know i can breed one with a Ditto.

How dare they tell us Gotta Catch them all, but you just can't keep them all. That is the bad thing with every Expansion more Pokemon come in and nowhere to store them.

Side track
I have seen things about what the next Pokemon game should be. Someone had about a 5th generation game, first that means a new system would have to be invented I believe. But I would love to see them do something like the card game and have a Fossil Expansion. Add like 10-20 prehistoric Pokemon, keep the older fossil Pokemon, just add new ones and make it kinda more like the underground or something. Make 3 cute little fossil like starters. Just my dream. I like way to many Pokemon. Games for Fossils, Bugs, and cute little Grass Pokes.
