that's why i quit.
i play a game to have fun.
when i played smash, not only did i only have fun less than half the times i played, but that was completely dependent on whether or not i was doing any good.
if i was sucking, i got furious, cocky (made excuses), and generally had a bad time.
if i was doing alright, then i'd only be furious HALF the time.
and it's such a time consuming game to play and to perfect!

ultimately, i was playing a video game that was only remotely fun like half of the time, and the times when it was fun i would still be disappointed. not only that, but i spent so much time on it that my thoughts became interwoven with smash and those thoughts gradually took over more important thoughts in my life.

but it is a fun game, and if you personally wanna keep playing it, go for it. i just figured i'd share why i quit. :D

Thats sounds soo much like me right now. xD Im not going to quit. Im just going to take a break from GB. I need to play some randoms so I can beat up on the noobs and gain back my confidence. :3

I used to do random pickup battles on Brawl but stopped because the people who were winning against me were bad sports. Even people on this site who I played with and who knew I only played off and on and with bad characters that I thought were cute but weren't any good in competative play would type nasty things to me. So now I reserve brawling with people I'm in the same room with. Then it's fun and all in good sport.

I don't make excuses for why I'm bad. I've always just played the game for fun and I don't expect to win. I just wish that the people who won against me were nice about it, ya know? Sorry about this little tangent. >_<

In any case, your battle looked pretty cool. :) Teh sux how it ended, but sometimes that's how it goes. 'Tis life. Will you post any others anytime soon?

Good one WCN, i just barely got the time to play this a few days ago with my brothers. Man, it seems i learned some new tricks after taking a few months off from this game. Hopefully if my job interview goes well on friday i can play some of you on the weekend. I picked up a lot more characters to play competitively now, and no more relying on top tier snake hahahaha, although i still love the guy. :)
