Roleplay!: Ash's Pokemon Squad! (RBY)

Ash needs your help in his next battle!

Yay for Roleplay!
We'll start off small, and gradually get bigger as the thread becomes more popular(hopefully).
The first people to sign up will automatically be accepted. Post your name along with the character you'd wish to be. If you don't make it right away, later on other characters will come into play that you may join the thread as.

After the first 6 are chosen, I will take the final character. Here's how this is going to work. Whoever is Ash or Pikachu will mainly be in charge of the story. During battles he may call on one of his Pokemon to assist him. At that time whoever is that character may join the story. Also, Pokemon may be released from their balls outside of battle. Also at this point those Pokemon characters may post.

Once again, to join in on the action, post with your name and the character you wish to be. First come first serve. If we have any trouble with people not participating that requested to be apart of the story, they will be replaced.

well you need to be descriptive, howd you run into gary, who is gary, who is your starter, who is his starter, etc...

EDIT: Actually, if you introduce Gary, we'd need to find someone to play that role. And that person chooses who their starter is, not you.

Last time he was here he had to leave early. Zorloc looks around seeing many rocks and and holes filled with Magma.
He knew if he was not careful he could accidently step in one and have his foot Melted, so he watched every step he took.
Charmander who had not been out for awhile jumped out of his pokeball and landed in one of the holes full of magma, but did not seem to care.
"Well Charmander you really wanted out badly didn't you?" Zorloc says with a laugh
"Char Char!" Charmander said while playing in the magma.
All of a sudden a growlithe came out from another hole

Ash walked out of proffesor Oaks lab happy with his first pokemon. It was a healthy pikachu with a smile so bright it could power 100 pokecenters. He continued walking on with the pikachu on his shoulder. "Pika pika" said the pikachu. Thats when Ash wondered into long grass not realising it. As he walked a rattata jumped out at him and bit his arm.
"Pikachu Thundershock" he shouted

Piiiiiiiiiiiiiikaaaaaaaaa Pikaaaaaaaaaaaachhuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!
*thunder roars across the ground*

Pikachu jumped back onto ashes shoulder and they ran straight to viridian city and ash tripped over. He got knocked out. It was left up to pikachu to do what needed to be done.

Pika?? Pikaaaa piiiii!! *scampers off to find the nearest passerby*


Pikkaaaa!! *calls out in hopes of getting a budding trainers attention*

Pikkaaaachuuuu???

*while running notices a berry, not just any berry, but a chesto berry*

Pika pi.... *runs off back to Ash*

*sits on his chest and places the berry in his mouth*

... Pika?...piiiikaaaaaa..... *waits patiently for something to happen*

Pika! *moves Ash's mouth so he chews it up*

Pika pi! :) *notices Ash beginning to wake up*

no mommy i dont want to wake up yet wait oh its you pikachu
ash got up and pikachu jumped on his shoulder
then he collapsed again
a passerby helped when pikachu called out and ash was carried to the pokemon center in viridian city
ash woke up the next morning with pikachu sleeping on the end of his bed
ash got up and left pikachu to sleep. He went out to the pokemart and bought a toy for pikachu. It was a ball which pikachu can roll around on.
he walked back to the pokecenter and pikachu had woken up
Pikachu was there waiting for ash when ash gave pikachu the ball
pikachu started running around with the ball

*hops on the ball and gets a good balance*

*the ball wobbles a bit before it rolls around and around Ash with Pikachu carefully guiding it around Ash and soon for fun goes straight for Ash*

Pikachuuuuuu!! *as if to say "watch out!" in a taunting manner*

hey pikabuddy wanna go see the new toy shop
they head there and then when they walk in the door quickly shuts. They were trapped!
Team rocket came out and chanted thier mottor.
"Who are you?" ash asked
"Were team rocket and well take your pikachu" they replied.
"NO WAY" Ash shouted "Pikachu thundershock"
Pikachu started attacking but it wasnt thundershock

Pikaaaaaaa Pikachuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!! *roared Pikachu*

*Pikachu released not thundershock but a new move, this move popped up on Ash's pokedex to explain.*

The Pokedex proclaimed: "Pikachu is using a move called 'Thunderwave,' your pikachu, now at level 10 has learned a new move, Pikachu now knows four moves."

"wow Pikachu" Ash said as he cuddled pikachu
they left the wierd building and went to head to viridian forest.
A boy asked to go with them to get to viridian forest.
they walked there until they got there and the boy blocked them entrance
"YOU DO NOT PASS" he said angrily.
He hit ash down and pikachu got angry

Pikachuuu? *Pikachu asks Bulbasaur if he's ready for a double team attack*

BOOM! "we're blasting off again!" twinkly star thing

"...Bul...ba?" Bulbasaur wonders how Team Rocket blasted off without doing anything and shrugs. He and Pikachu turn around, but Ash isn't there. "Bulba...?" Bulbasaur calls out. No response; Bulbasaur ventures into the woods, beckoning Pikachu to follow.

*poof!!!* a white light erupts from Ash's bag, and squirtle materializes next to it....."Squir....tle?" I look around, searching for my two friends, and see them just as they slip into the shadows of the forest. Knowing that mischief and adventure lies ahead, I pull out my shades, and follow after them.
"Squirtle-Squir! Squir-Squirtle-Squir!" "Follow me guys, I know where to find a pack of Chansey... we can steal their eggs!"

[Trombones13]

"Bulba bulba! Bulba!"
"That sounds great! Let's go!"

"Squir-squir-squir! Squirrrrr-tle!"
"This way guys!"
We run off deep into the forest. Its darker the deeper we get. Suddenly, I hear a quick and loud squeek behind me. I turn to see if I could find the source. I see Bulbasaur..... but no Pikachu!
"Squirrrrrrrrrrrrrrr" I growl. But there's no response. I turn to Bulbasaur...
"Squirtle Squirtle Squirtle! Squir Squir?"
"That dumb Pikachu always has to mess things up for us! Should we continue or go find her?"

"Bulba? Bulba bulba bulbasaur!"
"Pikachu? You continue, and I'll go find him/her ((uh...))!"

Pika pika!! *shakes Ash* Pika piiiiiiiiiikaaaaaaaaaaa.... pika chuuu? *Pikachu sadly motions for Ash to get up and take action but he appears to be paralyzed, Pikachu wonders if one of it's attacks misfired and hit him*

Pikaaachuuuuuuuu!! *Pikachu cries for Ash to get up*

a wild caterpie suddenly starts shooting a wall of string around the paralyzed ash.

PIKA!!!!!!!! PIKA!!!!!!!!!! *hits the caterpie with Thundershock*

Pika pika pika... pika chuuuu. *Pikachu wonders why that lil' caterpie would even mess with them as she protects Ash from what appears to be an attack*

the wild caterpie then sends a wad of wet string down at bulbasaur hitting it on the forehead, as if challenging it to a duel.

Bulbasaur trips over Ash and falls to the ground. Caterpie is dislodged from the bulb and smacks into the ground several feet away.

*Pikachu sees the Caterpie about several feet away, turns toward the Caterpie and begins to walk toward Bulbasaur*

Pika Pika.... Pika chuuuu... *Pikachu motions over to the brush and suggests that perhaps the two venture toward where she just heard some odd cackling followed abruptly by coughing.*

Caterpie, mortified by the thought of what might happen if it was caught hanging around the pikachu and bulbasaur, scurried back up the tree. It then noticed the strange checkers playing strangers to be beckoning the two to come to them.

"Bulba...saur..." Bulbasaur begins inching toward the bushes.

Uhhh...What are we supposed to do with the twerp's pokemon staring at us... i know i'll do this! *throws net over all pokemon in the bush(PIkachu, Caterpie, and Bulbasaur [not sure where squirtle is])*

Bulbasaur Vine Whips the net repeatedly.

"Pi Pi Pi" Wierd green thing with ugly yellow mouse, I'll cause a distraction that should give you enough time to free yourselves. Hurry!
Caterpie then shoots wads of string through the net at the strangers' eyes temporarily blinding them.

Bulbasaur uses the distraction to tear open the net. He and Pikachu escape, but the balloon starts to take off with Caterpie still stuck in its bag. "Bulba bulba!" Bulbasaur attempts to use Vine Whip, but quick-moving leaves shoot out instead. "Bulba?" Bulbasaur's new move, Razor Leaf, split the net, and Caterpie fell to the ground. Bulbasaur barely caught it with a Vine Whip before it could *splat* on the ground.

Hey Jesse! Meowth! Look at that! The Bulbasaur caught our super caterpie thing!!!! We must capture them!

Pika pika pika.. pika piiiii... pika chuuuu. *Pikachu insisted upon them somehow making up a leaf bed for Ash and possibly taking him to the nearest town with a poke'center, perhaps they could help him?*

((and yes, Pikachu's a girl, hee hee, there are female pikachu's aaaaannnd MissingNo did say that we could control the story, so Pikachu's a chika. :wink:))

Caterpie shoots a string into the branches above and slowly retreats back into the trees, silently watching over the other pokemon, silently wishing she could have a person just like they do.

Bulbasaur tries to lift Ash, and fails. "Bulbasaur...!" "He's too fat...!"

Pika pika... pikaaa... pika pika pika chu. *Pikachu explains how they'll make up the leaf bed using some vines created by Bulbasaur and then make up three pulleys, hopefully if Bulbasaur, Pikachu and Squirtle all pull they'll be able to drag his tubby butt to the nearest Poke'center.*

*The three pull Ash to the nearest town, but they being pokemon can't read the sign to see which town they are in, if only Ash could tell them, or some gym leader belonging to the town?*

((Yeah, I think it'd be best just to get one person to play the role of "gym leader" and they can just decide how to act for the different ones, makes sense and we wouldn't have to look for a new one every time we enter a new city, and an officer jenny, possibly if she comes up, but if she doesn't then someone would be with a part, but no lines, if that makes any sense.))

Caterpie then falls onto the ground, exhausted from inching all the way from the Viridian forest to the pokecenter.

Pika Pika... pikaaa chuuu? *Pikachu asks if Caterpie would like to have a battle.*

Pika pikkaaa pika chuu pika pika! *She explains that if they did, Ash would have a chance to catch the Caterpie and he could be apart of a team and have a trainer too!* :)

"pi pi pi" yes of course. That would be excellent! That would be perfect! but I think your person is asleep again.

PIKKKKKAAAA!! *Pikachu calls out to Ash in hopes of waking him up.*

Pika pika... pika chu, pika pika. *Pikachu suggests they wait for him to wake up and this will give Caterpie a chance to regain some health from his long crawl.*

The exhausted caterpie turns around to see team rocket bending over to snatch it. "pi.pi..pi..." caterpie fainted upon the floor out of loss of energy.

Team rocket grabs caterpie and runs out of the pokemon center.

Unfortuantely for team rocket, the twerps hear their crazy snickering...

PIIIIIIKKKKKKKKKKKAAAAAAA!!!!! PIKAA CHUUUUUUUUUUU!!!! *Pikachu uses a very quick attack, so quick that that's it's name! Ash's dex' goes off in his hands stating that Pikachu is now at lv.13 and has just learned Quick Attack*

PIKKKAAAAAA!! *immediately following Pikachu lets off a Thunderwave on Team Rocket and protects the Caterpie from their clutches.*

"Bulba bulba!" Bulbasaur notices that Pikachu seems to enjoy attacking Team Rocket, so he offers to take Caterpie from Pikachu's hands while she continues battling.

Caterpie, after a nice rest, tries to shoot a string shot at Team Rocket like last time, because she doesn't want to be seen as a weak caterpie like her brothers and sisters.

[Taterbud]

Pika Piiiiii!! *Pikachu then uses another Quick Attack to keep them far away from the Caterpie*

"Bulba bulba!" Bulbasaur tells Caterpie to stay back so it doesn't get hurt. It lashes out with a Vine Whip as if to warn Team Rocket to stay back.

Caterpie then, wanting to battle team rocket on its own, shoots the eyes of bulbasaur and pikachu with a string shot.

A giant Onix slams team rocket into one of their "blasting off again moments"

A man walks in and recals the onix, he asks:

"where is your trainer?"

In the distance a sound of a trio screaming: We're blasting off again!!!!

tears begin falling down the caterpie's face, because the one way she could prove herself was just slammed into the sky. She then scurries back into the tree next to ash's window in the pokecenter inch by inch.

"Why do you run away little guy?"

The man faces pikachu..." where is your trainer?, are are all alone and...

Tha man tries to cathc pikachu, and the pokeball bounces off

"Bulba bulbasaur!" Bulbasaur cries out, wiping the String Shot from its eyes. The battle has finished, so he walks toward Ash.

The angry caterpie than spits string in the mans face, showing her outrage.

*wipes the string from his face* "Ahh, I see."

The man picks up Caterpie, and much to the struggle, placed him in front of ash.

The man nudges ash lightly and he comes too.

The man asks him if these are his pokemon.

Bulbasaur looks up at the stranger and wonders why he doesn't ever open his eyes.

Seeing the bulbasaur staring at him, the man takes out a pokeball and sends out a geodude. He says:

"you can talk to my geodude, he knows sign language so he'll be a translator of a sort."

"pi pi pi pi! pi pi pi PIIIIII!" Caterpie shoots a wad of string in front of the strangers feet. "pi" (you stole the one thing that would prove me different from all of the other caterpies. I wanted to battle those people by myself and you took them away from me!!!)

The geodude makes several hand gestures

" I would reccomend taking him to a pokecentre, thy'll take care of him there."

"I'm sorry, I didn;t know.....NOW!"

The geodude grabs a rock and throws it at caterpie.

The man takes back geodude, and sends out onix.

"hop on everybody!" everyone hops on, and the man hold the faitned caterpie, and they head off to the pokecentre.

The man notices a charmander has appeared. "where did you come from?"

Caterpie then wakes up from being fainted. Due to it's newly found fear of people due to the cruelty of the close eyed man, it scurries back into the Viridian forest, leaving a squirt of string for the other pokemon to remember her by.

Bulbasaur looks up at Ash, waiting to see what they'll do next.

Ash: I guess we could go together in the forest.Then lets go!

The man sends out geodude and the group starts walking.

"So what is it like in the forest?":confused:

" I hear there are lots of poison pokemon, luckly I have the skills to make a poison heal out of berries."

The group makes there way to the enterance of the forest.

"Sweet! These poison pokemon will help my pokemon to be stronger!"

"I wouldn't be like that, poison can fait your pokemon before you know it. I would be carefull I can only make so much Antidote."

The group goes further into the forest. Pidgey can be heard flying overhead.

[Vott]

"Talk about pokemon we got company."
A caterpie and a weedle appeared.

"Bulba bulba!"
"I want to fight them, Ash!"

"Okay bulbasaur use Tackle!"

"pi pi pi pi" (wait, no its me! remember? come on.)
shoots a string shot on the forehead of bulbasaur.

Bulbasaur digs one foot quickly into the ground, re-aiming himself toward Weedle.

caterpie hides behind bulbasaur and tells him what happened.
"pi pi pi" (I was just inching around, when all of a sudden this weedle comes out of nowhere and attacks me. I have been running away ever since.)

[Taterbud]

Pika piiii, pika chu, pika pika. *Pikachu suggests that they take out the Weedle, leaving only the Caterpie, so that Ash can have a chance at catching it.*

Pika pika, pika chuu. *Pikachu tells the Caterpie to stop hiding, it has to be in battle in order to be caught once the Weedle is out.*

"Bulba!!" Bulbasaur lets out a cry as he slams into the poor, little Weedle.

Caterpie, now being given an advantages, shoots a string shot to attempt to throw weedle out of the area, but get pulled by its moving force, along with it.

"Pikachu thundershock!"

"PI PI PI!" (NO! don't! I will be shocked too!)

"chaaaaaaaar!!" *grabs caterpie as its being pulled by the string*

"Char......man......." *its pulling him along too*

Bulbasaur turns around to see a Weedle, a Caterpie, and a Charmander flying toward him. The Weedle at the front smacks him in the face, and Bulbasaur smacks into a tree with three *thump*ing Pokemon pushing him again.
"Bulba..."

again, the caterpie falls into bulbasaur's bulb (talk about epic failure)

Piiiiii... kaaaaaaa....?? *Pikachu uses Thundershock only as called out by her trainer, Thundershock hits the group as a whole, so it isn't very effective and merely jolts them apart from one another.*

Bulbasaur, dizzy and confused, wobbles around, waiting for a command.

Geodude slams his fist into weedle, KOing it in the confusion.

The man studies the scene.

"Wow. Akward... I would reccomend getting your pokemon to stop hurting eachother."

The man pulls some potions from his bag and starts spraying the different pokemon(exept caterpie)

"char!" *walks around, shakes off the shock* *gives a thumbs up to pikachu*

"Charmander char!" *is excited to get healed by the gym leader*

The onix wraps around the caterpie crushing it as the pokeball captured it. The ball shakes.(( you fill it in meeker))

the ball shakes. A second time...A third time... A chime echoes throughout the forest, signaling the capture of the heartbroken caterpie.

Bulbasaur grabs the Poke Ball with its vines and clenches tightly, hoping it'll stay shut this time. Bulbasaur looks forward to training alongside Caterpie.

"Okay caterpie welcome to the team!"
