Greetings all, I am Whitdjinn, your ex-Meteor Gym Leader!

Let me first say that I am extremely excited to get started, unfortunately a few things need to happen before I'll be able to take requests. Hopefully, for the challengers, my excitement to get started will mean I'll take sub-optimal hatchings to build my team with!

The gym is currently: OPEN

Reason for status: Ready to Rock

The other announcement I have is that the gym's typing will be changing from Rock/Water to Rock/Flying
Tani notes: Nope! It's Rock/Steel now

The steel type isn't one I have too much experience with, but always wanted to break into.

Attention Pokefarmers!

After a huge lull in the activity in the Boulder Gym, I've decided on a couple minor changes that will hopefully re-invigorate the challenges coming into the gym.

First, There will be a typing change to Dragon/Flying While this opens me up to some obvious weaknesses, I believe that I will be able to overcome them due to some unique pokemon and moveset choices. - I already have the team ready so there will be no delay in my ability to take challenges!

Second, In a related note in order to gain a higher number of choices of pokemon to use, I will be the first gym to use and allow any legends that are not Uber according to our tier system at Pokefarm.

This change will take the battling in the Boulder gym to a much closer level to a true OU battling environment. I hope this is enough to excite the members of Pokefarm in challenging for the new Boulder gym!

There will most likely be a change in name since Rock will no longer be involved, more on that later!

I would like to confess that the previous message is not real. It was merely an attempt to get a rise out of a couple people and see what reactions would be.

The gym typing will not be changing (even given the option, I probably wouldn't want to chagne) and legends will most certainly not be welcome in the Boulder or any gym.

Just a reminder that the Boulder Gym is still open for challengers!! It has been quite a dry spell since I've had a battle, I'm sure that there are still some folks out there who want the badge!

I would like to congratulate Revelp8 on his recent promotion to Icicle Gym leader! He was a wonderful assistant and really expanded his battling horizons while here at the gym. I wish him the best of luck as he tackles the brand new challenges of breeding/trianing an entirely new team and managing his own gym.

Due to that, I am in need of another assistant to help keep these badge hunters at bay! If you are interested, please send me a PM with the following information:

Why you'd like to be the gym assistant/what makes you qualified for the position.
A proposed team inclduing some overall strategies to be used with our typing.


Until an assistant is named, Those of you who previously still needed to beat Revelp8 for the badge, will not be required to wait for another assistant to be named and ready. I will let you challenge me directly once a week until an assistant is named. Please be sure to still follow the guidelines for challenging as noted in the rules thread.

Just a note that I have been without wifi since Monday - that is why I have not addressed any of the outstanding challenges.

That has been fixed and I am back in business, though so if you have an outstanding challenge to the gym, expect a PM from me in the very near future.

At this time, I am opening the challenger queue. Anyone who is currently waiting for an ASSISTANT battle, can challenge me directly until the time which my assistant is ready to accept battles.

All other rules regarding challenging still apply (use group memberships, etc 1 week wait between battles)

Meteor Gym is undergoing a typing change as well as a leadership one - the typing is now Rock/Steel.

I have asked MissingNo. to be my assistant, he will let you know when his team is ready for action.
We feel that Meteor suits his battling style better than Chrysalis.

My estimate is that it will take another week or so for my team to be fully ready/tested, therefore Meteor is not accepting challenges at this time.
