Here in the United States we celebrate today as Veterans Day. It was originally known as Armistice Day and is celebrated as Remembrance Day in other parts of the world. November 11th is the day that Germany signed the armistice ending the war to end all wars on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month of 1918.
In 1954, Armistice Day was changed to Veterans Day to honor all veterans for their service to our country and called upon Americans everywhere to rededicate themselves to the cause of peace. It was changed in 1968 to the fourth Monday in October to give workers another three day weekend, but the date was so historically significant that ten years later it was changed back to November 11th.
While most strive for peace, some see that sacrifices are needed to insure our freedom, not only here in the United States, but throughout the world. It is these brave men and women that we honor today who have made that sacrifice to protect us both here and abroad.
So in honor on Veterans Day, I have gathered some Registeels from trades throughout the world and am offering them to anyone who needs one. Most are level 40, they all came from different trainers from Hoenn and many are in Japanese.
As usual, I am not looking for any particular pokemon, but something nice would be appreciated. If you have reserved pokemon from one of my previous events and never bothered to pick it up, I will still trade with you, but I will no longer reserve a pokemon for you.
Thank you veterans, you are truly the men and women of Steel.

That was well said. I didn't even know the reason why Veterans/Remembrance day was during the particular time it was. Thanks for the interesting info :) I would like a registeel also if you have any left. If possible could you nickname it Soldier.

It's great to know people all over the world still honouring the people who had sacrificed so much to ensure the future for the coming generations!

I met two German girls the other week who were fascinated by Rememberance day, they said how fantastic it was to do such a thing.

Incidently however, i dont think it would quite have the same meaning for them mind.

Might i also request one of these men of steel?

What a wonderful event! I love this so much.

I can't trade until next week but I'd love one of these guys if you wouldn't mind waiting. If you can't wait that long though I understand!
