Custom Avatars?

I was wondering if it would be possible to have a shiny Beldum as an avatar.

I was also wondering about something that I saw when I first chose an avatar.

"Do not use an avatar
Note: if you have a custom avatar selecting this option will delete it."

Does that mean that there is some kind of custom avatar system?
Or is it referring to the "pre-defined images" that it shows below said mesage?

NUUUUU TT3TT Whhhhhy? There're only 8 Gym leaders, and what championships? @_@ Wait... I'm a farmer, so does that mean I get upload my own avatar eventually? Or are you just talking about the farmers/moderators that get to post on the home page? Well I could see turning off uploading avatars option, as that can fill up the server if you have limited space. However I like to be able to link to my own avatar. I generally like making my own signatures and avatars. The ones up now are cool, but kind of plain.

For farming, what are the requirements? After all anyone can become a farmer.

I am glad they are turned off as well. Could you imagine how ungodly huge they would be. Like some of the Signatures that take up more space then the comments people write. As far as a special Avatar for being a farmer, I rather like the idea for Gym Leaders and Tournament Champions, but at the same time Gym Leaders should have to keep a win, loss record and keep a certain win%. If their win% falls to low find a new Gym Leader. Can't have a Gym Leader that can only beat my Grandmother who reads the Pokemon Gym Battles for Dummies Series.

Avatars don't get that out of control. Atleast if you compbare them to signs. Avatars can have a set limit and size, such as the admin can simple allowed gallery and off-site avatars that are no larger then say 100x100 and no bigger then 10k. I think this board has a mod which allows you to limit signatures. That is what I did on my board, because they can become a problem with large images and loads of text.

Maybe we can submit our own avatars to be added to the gallery? I be happy to make like 50 pokemon avatars.

I totally see your point, but Neckar Unrivaled is right. You can put a limit to the size of and avatar. As for over-sized siggies, well... That's when those kick-:(:(:( Admin powers come in! Delete, ban, and repeat! Lol XD

When you split the quote up into sections, these 2 quktes should have been one long quote he-he. If you read them together it fits or attempts to describe my idea.:D
