Does anyone like .hack? I just got into it a few months ago, and I love the manga and the anime, .hack//sign. I was just hoping to discuss this series with someone, so I was wondering if anyone likes it..:confused:

^_^ I played the .hack games and I have a few of the mangas. Quite some time ago they had a website up where you could participate and win prizes, I got a bunch of posters from that. Good times.

I would play the games, except I don't have a PS, I don't think that I'm going to buy one just to play .hack. I'm hoping for a Wii/DS game in the future.

It's been down for a while now, it was only open to hype up the release of the PS2 games. I haven't kept up with the mangas though, I really liked Legend of the Twilight... o3o

I've heard of the anime and the games. Only watched the anime though and sadly I'm not that familar with it lol. It did seem interesting though. It reminded me of digimon...just without the digimon lol.

I am a HUGE fan of .hack//twilight. It was amazing!! I loved the anime also

My younger cousin at the time was afraid to watch the show because he thought his TV would get hacked and infected with a virus and he wouldn't be able to watch other Saturday morning cartoons lol XD

You should watch it, though. I found the entire series at a yard sale for $2.00, also to find out that it's real value was WAY WAY WAY more than that. It was the subtitle version, but i enjoyed it that way, as Japanese is a really neat language to listen to.

Mangawise, .hack//twilight and .hack//G.U.+ were really good, though I didn't like .hack//XXXX. Even so, XXXX gave me a lot of backgroud info that I coudn't get otherwise.

Awesome. I had a friend in high school, John, who was a big anime nut. More so than myself and he had the series as well. Looked good. Just never had the time to get into it and stuff.

If you ever want to watch it, just to warn you: the beginning is a little slow. BUT IF YOU GET THROUGH THE BEGINNING, it gets really good.

So, it's like the His Dark Materials books by Philip Pullman... Interesting... (In the slow start, not theme). I have a friend that plays one of the games... That's all I know about it.

The slow-starting one is .hack//sign, in general this thread is for any .hack-ness, and .hack://Twilight is referring to .hack//Legend of the Twilight. Sorry if you were confused,:oops:

I've seen few episodes of Hack//Signs when it was here in Canada. I enjoyed it and was probably the most quality anime I've seen on YTV probably since Visions of Escaflowne (might be wrong, memory is blur right now @.@) when it was on. Unfortunately I never got around to checking it out further in depth; gotta do that sometime. :)
