Midori Adventures: Chapter One

Aoiro Versus Pachirisu!


A boy around the age of 16 had been walking down a winding and rock filled road. The path led to a town and was also connected to a little forest. Although he was 16, he looked rather built for his age. Little whiskers were coming from his chin, His hair was shaggy and brown as a paper bag. His body figure was a little buff, arms lengthy as well as his legs. His clothes were tattered in a way only a mother could fix. His jeans, the color of ocean blue wrapped around his Blue sneakers with a protecting feature. His gloves were Blue as well, but just as dark as the ocean color from his pants. Another feature of his clothing was a Dark Blue vest, gently resting upon a black under shirt. There were traces of dirt in a sort of smeared pattern, signs that the boy had tried to wipe the smudges away. This boys wardrobe was mainly based around the color blue, but this was all coincidence.

He continued down this path, The large buildings appeared black as the sun began to graze on his eyes. "Err, that's not good." He reached into a pocket of his blue jeans and pulled out a blue pair of sunglasses. "Much better..." He spoke in a whisper as he continued down the spiral road. Not much could be said about this boy, He had simple intentions. To become a pokemon master, following his fathers foot steps. He placed a hand on his belt which contained a pokeball, He slipped it out of his belt loop and then clicked on the center circle. It enlarged, just escaping his finger tips, and then he opened it. A pokemon's figure could be seen for a split seconds as a Munchlax was fully recognizable. "Aoiro, Are you hungry pal?" He looked at his fellow pokemon as he bent down a bit, holding out a hand full of pokemon food. The munchlax quickly nodded and took the food. The boy spoke again as he stood up erect. "Alright, we should get ready for our first gym battle, are you ready Aoiro!?" He smiled, glancing down at his friendly pokemon as it gave it's normal "of course" smile. After a few more minutes of sun abuse and scuffling feet, they arrived in the town.

"This is it...Eterna City..." His fist closed in a form of determination, as did his Munchlax. They continued walking forward as the boy stopped. "Hmm, maybe we should have a little test battle before rushing into things....Right?" The munchlax nodded, showing no objection to training. They walked to a grassy patch that was just before entering the town. Quickly they found a grass patch near by, inside the grass was a small Blue like squirle with yellow cheeks. The boy took out his pokedex as it began to read the information out loud. "Pachirisu, It makes electricity with pouches on its cheeks and shoots charges from its tail, it lives atop trees." The boy nodded and pointed to Pachirisu. "Alright, Aoiro! This is an electric pokemon, not exactly what we need before a grass gym, but it'll do!" As he finished the sentence he quickly pulled his finger back and nodded.

"Alright, Aoiro, use Lick!" The Munchlax slowly moved close enough to the pachirisu to preform the attack. The Pachirisu's face had turned to a sickly expression and it jumped back swiftly.

It then came charging at Munchlax at a quick speed. "Oh no, it must be Quick attack! Aoiro! Stand firm, once it gets close Use another lick attack!" The Munchlax stood still, keeping both feet on the ground. The Pachirisu then connected with Munchlax, Barely moving him. Munchlax then gave Pachirisu another lick attack. "Alright! Nice going!" Shouted the boy in an excited voice. The Pachirisu had static coming off of its body. "Nice! I think it's paralyzed!"

"Now's your chance Aoiro! TACKLE!" He punched his fist out in a very agile way. The munchlax then gained enough speed, tackling the Pachirisu, knocking it out quickly. The munchlax jumped up and down after being victorious. "Yes! We did it!"

As they were at the door of the Gym, the boy looked down at his Munchlax and smiled. The Munchlax quickly returned the smile as they entered through the door. "Alright Gardenia! I'm here to challe-" He stopped mid-sentence to find that no one was there, only a weird looking man. "Um...Sir..." he spoke gently, "Do you happen to know where the gym leader is?" He man shook his head and then spoke, "Well, give me your name and I'll tell her you stopped by..." The boy nodded and spoke. "My name is Midori."


Author's Notes:
Welp, first chapter is done, and it's a little jumbled up, but what am I suppose to do? this was done in 24 minutes. LOL Hope you enjoy it, I'll get more things done sooner or later. Can't tell you how many spelling errors there were...4 is 4 too many!! I also probably have a lot of grammatical errors. This story also looked smaller in Notepad >.<

awesome story, definitely one of my favorites on this site. BTW, just so you know I can help you with your french anytime, unless your in a higher class than french 3... I have a test tomorrow too in french too, but our teacher just uses the book test so its pretty easy Xp

Midori Adventures: Chapter Two

Path to Gardenia


Three plates were empty, only smudges of food were left. The boy named Midori had recently been looking for the Eterna City Gym leader. Unfortunately the leader was out at the moment. Midori sighed as did his companion Aoiro. "Aoiro, what are we going to do in the mean time?" He looked a bit depressed, but still had a glimmer of hope left in his soul. The Munchlax shared the same look as he covered his mouth as he burped. Midori then raised his hand as he asked a near by waitress for the bill. He soon payed it as the two friends walked outside. A girl, her hair sort of an orange like color walked past. It was a very odd haircut indeed, Her clothing style was weird as well, Some green vest like thing wrapped around her shoulders, a black undershirt and then Brown shorts. Midori, hadn't really paid attention enough as Aoiro began to follow this girl.

"Hmm, I guess we should go check the gy-....Aoiro!?" He blinked and looked around frantically. A shrill could be heard from the eastern direction in which Midori quickly turned his head towards. Aoiro was being pat by the girl with orange hair. Midori quickly ran over and looked at the girl, checking her out. "Oh, I'm sorry ma'am, I didn't mean for Aoiro to disrupt you..." She smiled, still petting Aoiro as she glanced up at Midori. "Oh, it's ok! He's really adorable and friendly for a Munchlax!" The two of them smiled as the girl extended her hand in a form of greeting. "Hello, I'm Gardenia! It's nice to meet a new face!" Midori's jaw dropped a bit as he took her hand. "Um...You're....The...Gym leader?" He spoke softly, with an awestruck manner. She nodded and smiled. "Of course! I can tell you're a trainer by the look on your pokemon's face! I'm ready to battle any time so come by the Gym soon!" She then turned and ran away in the eastern direction.

He smiled and then looked down at Aoiro, who had smiled back at him. "We should train a little bit more, she looked rather tough don't you think?" Aoiro nodded and then walked down a road as Midori followed. They ended up infront of a pond as Midori pulled a fishing rod from his back pack, placing the float in the water, they awaited a new pokemon to face.

I've found that it's easier to write while eating Pizza...LOL

Chapter Two, what do you guys think? It's just a stepping stone chapter...I could have been working on it for another 3 hours or more, but I really didn't want to do too much so that tomorrow's chapter would be less of a chapter ^^; Besides, I want the next chapter to have a lot of battles, which means a lot of pictures ^^;

LOL, I know, As writing this current Chapter I had to re-think things and decided to push the gym battle back enough until I can reach a point of a weird happening...The protagonist doesn't always gets his way...(In the first Pokemon Season it seemed like he did until the Indigo League LOL)

yeah, the first season was pretty funny when he lost to a wimp aka richie... hey, that reminds me, when I was up against the lucario dude in PBR, he chose the exact same pokemon as me except chose the perfect order to counter me... I lost by 1 poke, really annoying .... :rolleyes: Well, I just finished my 5 houres of 2 weeks worth of french homework because Im a slakar and, from now on, im doing it when its assigned, not waiting till the last possible day... hey, you said you were in french too, right... which french level? Strangely enough, I find that it's easier for me to write while eating ice cream. :-P

I didn't get to see the pictures in chapter one because I'm at work (I figured that if I didn't make time for it now then I probibly wouldn't tonight when I'm in a whirlwind of baking) but I really liked it. You have a strong writing style and a handle of grammar and syntax.

Midori Adventures: Chapter Three

Aoiro Versus Magikarp(s)!


The fishing lure was swaying in the waves. Aoiro and Midori were waiting patiently as the wind controlled their hair. "Gosh...This Old rod wasn't such a good idea to use...was it?" Midori looked down towards Aoiro as Aoiro gave him a very determined look. The Old rod then gave a tug, Midori grasped the pole and pulled upward quickly. "I think we've got one! It's...Pretty heavy!" He smiled, fighting with the pokemon that was on the other side of the Fishing rod. "Gah! Help me out Aoiro!" Aoiro wrapped it's hands around Midori's pant leg as they both struggled with the rod. After a long battle Midori finally summoned Enough Strength to pull the pokemon from the water! "We've got it! It's a-" Midori paused as two angry Magikarp were on the lure. "I mean...They are...Magikarp..." He looked down at Aoiro with a confused look on his face. "Er...Aoiro! Time to battle, Let's get ready!" Aoiro got into a battle stance as the two enraged magikarp attacked!

Aoiro quickly tackled the first magikarp, It moved a little in a wierd sort of way, its eyes formed an angry look as it splashed around. The First Magkiarp continued splashing as Midori made an Analysis. "So, I'm guessing this is the only move they know..." He laughed as the Second Magikarp flopped around as well.

Midori smiled and folded his arms. "This will be easy cake! Alright Aoiro! Continue up with another tackle to the first magikarp!" Aoiro Nodded as he followed through with another tackle. Both the magikarps splashed around and Midori laughed. The magikarp seemed to be less annoyed at this point.

Aoiro continued with his tackling until both opponent magikarps were at low enough health. "Hey, Aoiro, Let's add these two to our team, what do you say?" He smiled at Aoiro and Aoiro nodded.

The Magikarp had no signs of being angered anymore and Midori drew out two pokeballs from his belt. He threw them with a gentle touch as the two magikarp disapeared into the balls. They both jiggled in their respectable, Suspense-building, ways. They then soon clicked as both Magikarp were caught. He picked them up with a smile on his face. He looked to the one in his right hand and the gave it the name "Fisshu" and the one in his left hand "Shinjo". Aoiro smiled along with Midori, they then headed towards the pokecenter. "Aoiro" Midori spoke, "Magikarps look really weak at first..." He placed a hand on Aoiro's head as they deceased walking. "But in time, they grow to very strong pokemon..." He gave Aoiro a grin as Aoiro nodded "Munch, Munch!" They then continued walking tot he pokemon center.

After finally reaching the pokecenter, Midori waved to Nurse Joy. "Hello Miss Joy! Can you help my Magikarps?" Nurse joy smiled and then placed them on a tray, Aoiro was then picked up and placed in the hands of a chancey as they then went to a room in the back. Midori sat himself down at a table as he waited for Nurse Joy to come back. In the mean time he fiddled with his thumbs as Gardenia sat in front of him. "Hey Midori!" She gave a very bright smile that almost blinded him. "Er, Hello Gardenia, Nice to see you again!" He sort of gave a little smile back. The continued to conversate about types of Pokemon and such, until the subject led to what he recently caught. "Midori" Gardenia began, "Have you caught any pokemon in the last hour?" Midori nodded and gave her a little smirk. "I've caught two magikarp! Isn't that cool, right?" Gardenia then expressed tenderness. "I see....You're not like them then...are you..." She looked down at the table for a bit then looked up. "Do you know...that people capture pokemon that have power?" Midori blinked a bit and then nodded. "Unfortunately some people can't see the real potential of pokemon..." Midori Said as he then stood. "Don't worry, I'm good, honestly.." He gave her a reassuring smile as she began to smile as well. "Gee! You have a really goofy smile!" She began to laugh as she stood up, she took Midori's hand and then dragged him across the table. "From here on out, we're together my friend Midori!" She continued laughing as Midori looked a bit confused. Nurse joy then came up to the two, Aoiro at her side and the two pokeballs on the tray. "here you go Midori, everything is all fine!" Midori then picked up the two pokeballs and put them in his pocket. "Well Gardenia, As much as I'd like to be your partner in good, I don't think I'd want to stick around right now..." He looked a bit sad, not trying to hurt he feelings. "I understand, you're young, you still need to explore this world..." She took Midori's hand again and shook it. "Midori, I want you to have this..." She then moved away from the table and then left out the door, waving goodbye to Midori.

Inside Midori's palm was the Badge for the Eterna City Gym. Midori clasped the badge in his hand as he then walked out of the pokecenter. Aoiro at his side, they ventured out, heading towards Eterna Forest.


Author's Notes:
Woot! 3rd chapter is done! Alright, some of you might be thinking. "WHAT!? THEY SHOULD HAVE BATTLED!!" But, I didn't want to end that chapter in the middle of a battle, Besides, Gardenia wants Midori to defeat an evil group! Oddly enough, Gardenia and Midori's mother are long time friends, So Gardenia knew that if she gave Midori the spirit to train, He would take it!

Midori Adventures: Chapter Four

Coming Home


After making much headway through Eterna Forest, They had reached route 205 and decided to stop for a break infront of a Honey Tree. "Aoiro, What pokemon do you think we'll see next?" Asked Midori as Aoiro shuged at the question. They then both glanced at the the near by patch of grass. They then walked towards it only to be attacked by another Pachirisu. "Alright Aoiro! It's go time! Let's make this quick so we can catch him!" Midori clutched his fist and then grinned. "Alright Aoiro! Opening move! TACKLE!" Aoiro gained speed as he ran towards Pachirisu, It then jumped over Aoiro with emense grace. "Er, Aoiro! Tackle again!" Aoiro ran towards the Pachirisu again but to fail again. "Jeez...How are we going to catch him if he keeps running around like that?"

A ball of dark blue gas flew by, hitting the Pachirisu. Midori and Aoiro quickly turned around to See a Pokemon and a girl with pink hair. "Wow...What's that?" Midori pulled out his pokedex as it then read aloud, "It has the ability to sense the auras of all things. It understands human speech." Midori then walked a bit closer to the two and the girl gave a big smile. "Hi there! Nice to meet you!" Midori nodded and looked at her lucario, "So...this is...a Lucario?" He blinked and then looked up at her. "Um, yes, it is..." She smiled and then poked him. "So, what's your name?" Midori blinked a bit and then spoke. "I'm Midori, it's nice to meet you," He pointed at Aoiro and then continued "This is Aoiro! What's your name?" the girl smiled slightly "My name's Maylene! I'm the Veilstone Gym leader!"

Midori gasped a bit and thought for a bit. "Wait...isn't that a little..far?" She shook her head. "No, We're just out for a little jog that's all." He blinked and thought how long the distance was. "Um...A jog?" He continued thinking and then looked down at Aoiro and then looked back at Maylene. "I see, so that's how you guys are so fast. She nodded and shook his hand, "Well, I should continue our jog! If you're ever interested in a gym battle come by anytime!" Maylene then dashed off, shortly followed by Lucario. "Jeez," Midoir started "She's really in shape...." Midori then headed south and Aoiro followed. "Well...Let's head in for Jubilife..." Aoiro nodded as they then reached the town. "Welp, Jubilife is rather busy..." People had been crossing their paths, different colors of clothes were being worn. Aoiro looked around a bit confused by all the colors and activity. "Aoiro, stick close..." Midori then reached the pokemon center and then smiled. "It's good to be home, right Aoiro?", "Munch Munch!" He smiled, they entered the pokecenter to be greated by a crowd.

Well, no pictures...Not a very long chapter, Not much happened...I didn't really want to write much because I don't know when I'm leaving my grandpas...So...What do you guys think of Midori's Sprite? Do you like it?

I changed the name because I felt as if I want the title "Life in Jubilife should be a large expansion on Midori's past and other things like that since he lives there...You guys will also learn how Aoiro and Midori met, which will be pretty obvious and logical once you read it...LOL

OK! Instead of going through a long process of making the sprites, I've decided to download the ROM of Pokemon Diamond and just screenshoot stuff ^^;

Midori Adventures: Chapter Five

Life in Jubilife


Hands were grasping for Midori's, shaking him from his wrist up violently. "Hey! Nice to see you again too!" Ao was also being attacked with hands of care as they pat him and rubbed his stomach. A lot of commotion was in that very pokecenter as Midori, the towns local trainer had returned. The room the got quiet as a girl the same age as Midori walked closer. "Well if it lazy boy!" She smiled wrapping an arm around his shoulder. "Long time no see lazy boy, seems like you've gotten less lazy!" He smiled as his hair was then ruffled. "Yes, It's great to see you as well!" She then removed her hand and pushed him a bit, "I see you've still got Ao, Do you have anymore Pokemon?" Midori nodded as he showed her the two magikarp. "Er...Magikarp?" She paused, "So you must know it's very hard to train Magikarp and only a true trainer would be able to turn them into true fighters...Correct?" He slowly nodded, "Of course.." He said "My father was a pokemon master, remember?" She smirked ruffling his hair some more. "Well, Let's see if you have what it takes. You should remember, my father was a gym leader in Kanto!" She handed him a letter. "Oh, I almost forgot...I wanted to give this to you...You can't open it, But...Keep care of it...ok? it means the world to me..." He blinked a bit confused as his lips parted, words beginning to form. "Um...But...What's in it?" She shook her head and then began to walk towards the door. "You'll know it...if you look deep down in your heart..." He blinked a bit more confused as he was then swarmed by reporters, towns people and random people.

Midori was done with all the questions the people had, it only took around 3 hours. Midori sighed as Ao tugged on his pant leg. Midori looked down and spoke, "I'm not sure what's in the letter, But I should respect her request and not open it, correct?" Ao then nodded, a bit disappointed. Midori then looked back forward as he saw her, shimmering in the moonlight. "Hey..." He then took into a sprint as she turned around, hitting him in the head with a wooden stick. "GAH!" Midori yelled after being hit, his hands rushed to his head in pain. "What was that for!?" She smiled and kissed the top of his head. "For ol' times sake..." He frowned and then sat down. "So...Let's talk..." She spoke softly. She looked away but before she did Midori noticed a sad look. "I'm...moving..." Midori blinked and was dumbfounded. "What!? Why?" She didn't make eye contact as she kept quiet. "....Kiiro..." Midori had placed a hand on her shoulder as he could hear her weeps. "We can always keep in touch! And Don't worry, I'll be in the Pokemon league so you can always come visit me!" He laughed a bit as she hugged him quickly. "Just, whatever you do...Don't open that letter!" He nodded and smoothed her hair. "Alright Kiiro, I wont open it...I promise..."

The last thing Midori could remember was the little chat last night, he rubbed the buggers from his eyes as a chatot was singing sweetly on a branch out of his window. "Ah! A beautiful day!" Ao was sleeping on the floor, Midori nudged him as he quickly woke up. "Hey, let's head to the pokecenter for some Breakfast, ok?" Ao nodded as they headed out of the hotel. A few minutes of walking down stairs the reached the entrance of the hotel they were sleeping in for the night. "Ah, I remember when Kirro and I would drop water balloons from the balcony on people..." He chuckled a bit in a nostalgic manner as they continued towards the Pokecenter. A girl ran into Midori, one he has never seen. "Oh...Umm...hello..." He blinked a bit as she gasped. "LIKE! Oh my gosh! You're like! totally Midori!" He nodded a bit, a bit scared by this enthusiastic girl. "And...who are you?" She smiled and pulled out a notebook and pencil. "I am Momoiro! and I want your autograph!" She forced the paper and pencil against his chest. Still confused, Midori wrote his signature as the girl squealed. "Oh my gosh! like I got Midori's autograph!" He paused for a second. "Why do you want my autograph anyway?" She smiled and then took the paper and pen back, hugging it tightly. "Because! When you become famous, I can sell this for good money!" Midori then continued towards the pokecenter as Momoiro followed. Her cell phone rang and she picked it up. "Oh! Hello Chairo!," "Yeah yeah! I KNOW!", "Oh come over to the pokecenter!" The fragmented conversation only made Midori more confused. As they reached the pokecenter, A boy, so short he only came up to Midori's Chest. Momoiro then hugged him and squealed. "See brother! I found your hero!" Midori blinked a bit confused. "Um....Do you....two live here?" Midori stumbled with words as the two nodded yes. "We moved in about a month ago, around the time you left." Momoiro smiled, "yes, we've only heard stories of your greatness!" Midori smiled and laughed a bit, scratching the back of his head. "Well, I don't know if I should be called a hero..." They all then sat down at a table and began to eat breakfast.

A while later, Midori was left with the bill as Momoiro and Chairo left. He sighed gently and looked at Ao. "Well, looks like a lot has changed since I left...Kiiro is all grown up, and now I'm considered a hero..." He laughed a bit, "I guess they're right...I am like my father..." Midori's face then turned to a bit more cold and realistic phase. He then stood up and turned. "But, the only difference is I want die at the hands of Naigunsotsu...." He clutched his hand and then stood up furiously. He took his leave from the Pokemon center followed by Ao. They then left Jubilife on a journey to train. Kiiro was watching them leave from Jubilife as she sighed. "You're just like him...aren't you...I swear...one of these days you'll be mine lazy boy..." She then turned slowly. "I remember...when we first met...You were under that Honey tree, sleeping next to a wild Pokemon..." She laughed and sat on a chair. "Who knew the wild Pokemon would be your partner?" She chuckled a bit more, then becoming a bit serious. "You were rather odd at first, You didn't have a mother, and your father was also away, leaving you with Mother. But it was a good thing, that we were able to play. If you weren't in my life, then It would be so droll!" A tear strolled down her cheek. "You truly are going to be one great guy..."

Welp, Chapter 5! Woot! XD Somewhat explains some of Midori's past and future intentions. AS YOU CAN SEE! Aoiro has had a name change and shall now be called Ao. Since Aoiro isn't really Blue, but an extension...So I've decided to rename him Ao, to make it simpler. LOL Anyway, 3 new characters in one chapter, Jeez! XD I guess I should write some background on them here, correct? since I'll probably never have the chance to do it in future chapters.

Kiiro is also 16, She is Midori's first friend, and has known him since birth. She's a little bit of a tom boy, but can feel comfortable around Midori, and as you have probably been suspecting, She has a crush on Midori, and as all male protagonist, he doesn't know XD

Um, She's pretty self explanatory, a giddy girl, Although with Midori out of town, she has been rather antsy to meet him, on account of all the stories she has heard about him. And, also, she's a bit of a fan girl. LOL

Well, I didn't write much about him, but...He'll get more show time later...But besides that. He's 10, just became a pokemon trainer and has always looked up to the stories of Midori, developing a fondness and a sort of sense that Midori is the best and can do anything!


Unfortunately...Kiiro is moving to Kanto! Later on in the story she shall appear again, and it shall be in the romantic chapter...Not much is to be said, but...Let's just say that the Romantic chapter is a LONG way away...LOL So! Yes, it's true, I'm postponing the story so I can finish this Pokearth thing I'm creating for Pokefarm. This will give me time to create the map and gain some literature to guide my grammar for the story and enhance my writing style for the story. So, if you guys can be patient for a week or two, it will most likely be back around Late December, hopefully ^^;

Midori Adventures: Chapter Six

Swift as Starly

[left]Midori stood, watching Ao carry a ton of bricks on his back. "Great Ao!" Ao nodded, as he swung the bricks ahead of him. While in mid air Ao's hands began to glow. "Alright Ao! BRICK BREAK!" In an instant the bag of bricks had fallen to the ground. When the bag hit the ground air traveled out of the bag, puffing a large amount of dust. Ao and Midori punched the air. "Alright! Let's do it again!" Midori grabbed two bags of bricks this time. Ao quickly grabbed them, sweat rolling down his fur. "Ao, you sure you want to do this?" Ao nodded as he tied the two bags to Ao's back. Midori then picked up two bags of bricks, tieing them to his back as well. "Let's go for a run!" Midori smiled as he ran to an eastern direction. They were currently in Route 203. Midori began to jog up two flights of stairs in which he waited at the enterance of a cave, waiting for Ao. "Come on Ao! We've got this!" He gave a smile as Ao then created a trail of dust as he kicked his legs harder.

Midori then entered into the cave as he ran to the end. Ao then caught up to Midori as they exited the cave. "Gah...." He smiled wipeing some sweat from his face as he continued. They then slowly stopped at the Pokecenter. "Ao, let's take a bit of a rest..." Ao punched the air and shook his head as he began to run laps around the pokecenter. "Ao..." He smiled gently and began to track around Ao.

Midori was panting, He placed his palm against a side of the Pokecenter, He dropped his bricks on the ground, just barely missing his foot. "Jeez, We'll never be close to Maylene's level at this rate..." He opened his vest a little, checking out the badge he had gotten from Gardenia. A gentle sigh came from him as he then looked at the sky. "Ao..." He spoke softly, gazing into the sun's canvas. "Let's head in for a rest...." Midori's mood had changed from a fun loving one to a bit depressed one. Ao nodded, dropping the bricks on the floor. "Brick break..." Ao then chopped the bags with glowing hands, dust flying everywhere. Ao then followed Midori as they headed towards the Pokecenter.

"Hey you!" a voice called out to the two. Midori then turned around so see a man, purple haired and with a mining hat, He was also wearing what looked to be a mining outfit. The man then continued to speak, "That was a mighty fine brick break!" He smiled and stuck out his hand. "It's nice to meet you! The name's Roark! I'm the gym leader around here! If you're interested, come by sometime!" Midori then turned completely around and then looked at Roark with fire in his eyes. "Let's go now!" Roark was a bit surprised and then grabbed a pokeball, he threw it out in the middle of them and a Geodude then appeared.

Midori then got into a combat stance and then kept an eye on the Geodude. "Let's do this Ao! Brick break!!!" Ao then ran at Geodude as Roark called out, "Geodude! Dodge!" It was too late, Ao's Brick break had hit Geodude on the forehead. Geodude then slid back as Ao stood still. Dust was kicked up from Geodude's body moving the gravel. A few seconds had passed as Geodude's figure reappeared. Geodude had been knocked out, Roark then pointed the pokeball at Geodude as it returned. He then drew another pokeball and then threw it. "Go Onix!" Onix then appeared on the battle field. "Alright Ao! Brick break again!" Ao then charged at Onix with a good amount of speed, Ao then struck Onix. Onix seemed to not be really phased by the attack, but it was obvious it did a lot of damage. "Alright Onix, Rock throw!" Rocks began to fly towards Ao which made Midori smile. "Alright Ao! Target practice! Multiple brick break!" Ao's hands began to glow again, striking each rock that came towards him. Dust had be balled up into the atmosphere, Ao then shot out of the dust bowl and attacked the Onix again with Brick Break.

The Onix fell to the ground, its eyes were shut, a clear sign it was knocked out. Roark's face seemed to become more serious. "No way! Not yet! Not giving up!" he said as he threw another pokeball, Out came a Cranidos. "Think you can take down the next Pokémon like you did earlier?" He chuckled a bit at the end of his question. Midori smiled as well and then stood still. "Alright Ao, Let's be patient with this one! This pokemon looks like it has a body built for speed." Ao nodded as he had figured the same thing. Roark smiled and then pointed at Ao, "Alright Cranidos! Headbutt!" Ao knew the plan that was to come, and Midori had predicted this very move. Cranidos then charged at Ao at great speeds, its head lowered and pointed towards Ao. Midori nodded as Ao then jumped over the Cranidos, giving it a quick brick break to the back. Cranidos slid in the opposite direction and got up quickly. Midori smiled as Roark called for another headbutt. "That's funny...Alright Ao! Same maneuver!"

The Cranidos then was headed towards Ao again, Ao then stood still and waited, after the Cranidos reached about 4 feet away Ao jumped. "Pursuit now!" Midori and Ao's were caught off guard as Cranidos then quickly became leveled with Ao and collided with him. Ao flew back, tumbling and then quickly regaining form. "Gah! Ao! Keep cool and stay still!" Ao nodded again. Roark was a bit confused, "Hmm, So you're going to try and pull this off again huh?" He smiled slightly, "Welp, Cranidos! Headbutt!" Cranidos then charged at Ao again, this time at full speed. Dust was trailing behind Cranidos as Ao kept still. Cranidos then continued on his path then Ao's hands began to glow again. "BRICK BREAK!!!!" Carnidos then began to skid as Ao slammed his hand onto it's head. The Carnidos fell to the ground, struggling to get up. Midori smiled and then looked at Roark, "I doubt this is over..." Roark smiled as Carnidos then stood up again.

Ao was face to face with Cranidos. The two were standing still, Ao was panting as well as Cranidos. "Alright, this is it Ao! Time to unleash the secret weapon!" Roark's jaw dropped as Ao nodded. Ao then stuck his tongue out and licked Cranidos. Cranidos' face seemed very grim as it fell to the ground. "W-what? That can't be! My buffed-up Pokémon!" Midori smiled and then Ao slowly returned to his side.

"You see," He walked over to Roark extending a hand as they shook. "Cranidos has a very large strength, and that is it's rock hard head. But Cranidos has a lot of weaknesses, its legs and its back." Roark nodded "I'm surprised, But this tells me this isn't your first time seeing a cranidos." Midori shook his head, "Nope, My dad had one..."

After the gifted badge had been obtained, Midori and Ao had picked up three bags of bricks each as they began to travel back to Jubilife City. The Sun was setting, All the dust particles were clearly visible by the shade of orange the sky was giving. New friends have been made, while a shadow figure lurks in the mountains. Binoculars locked on the boy.

Midori Adventures: Chapter 6

Encounter with Naigunsotsu
Midori and Ao were walking through the Oreburgh gate, tired from a long day of battling and exercise. "So, Ao, do you think we'll see Maylene soon?" Ao nodded and then ran ahead a bit, excited to fight the Lucario she had. Midori laughed and ran after Ao. Midori's laughs could be heard all the way to route 203, A burning smell was in the air.

After they had left the Oreburgh Gate, they were on Route 203. 6 bags of bricks were dropped as screams could be heard. It had appeared that Jubilife was on fire! The crackling of the flames was a wretched sound, Midoir and Ao rushed to the middle of town, next to the water fountain. He looked at the fountain and threw a pokeball. "Go! Fisshu!!" He then pointed to a near by tree that was on fire. "Water gun!!!" Fisshu flopped around as Midori screamed. "Fisshu! PLEASE! HELP!!!!" Fisshu then turned completely white. The glow from Fisshu was like a sun's awakening. Fisshu's figure then changed into a large serpent like creature. "Could this be....Gyrados!?"

He pointed at the sky and called out. "Fisshu! RAIN DANCE!" There was a pause in time. The flames had stopped moving. Fisshu had its mouth gaping as a few rain drops had fallen to the ground. There was no sound, it was as if all time had stopped.

"W-what's this!?" Midori looked around, the flames had stopped moving, As did the Fountain and the people. He continued to look around. Fisshu closed his mouth in confusion. Ao looked around just as confused. A figure then appeared out of no where. "Midori, you cannot win, give up and leave Jubilife, If you ever return, this place shall be burned..." The shadowy man spoke with a cold tone as a roar came from the distance. The wind began to pick up, the trees shook with extreme energy. The shock wave of the roar hit Midori and his pokemon. What was Jubilife had gone all black, The only things Midori could see was Fisshu and Ao.

The land then reappeared, But it was not familiar. That some Cold-hearted voice echoed. "Never come back to Jubilife!!!!" Midori collapsed to the ground, As Fisshu and Ao huddled around him.


Author's Notes:
So, as you might have guessed, Midori made an encounter of some stranger! Well, Let's shine a little light on these Shadow like people shall we!?

Well, these Shadowy figures are people apart of the Naigunsotsu or (Dead Soldier) They are currently the Antagonists of the story, and as you can see, they are evil. Now, if you've been paying attention, this is the group that killed Midori's father, according to Midori. Now, the one who just made the attack on Jubilife was Kuro, the Naigunsotsu's Leader. It's pretty early in the story, but I just wanted to give you guys a look at what he...looks like...

He is wearing standard Naigunsotsu Uniform. A Dark/Purple like cloak. I'd say he looks pretty cool LOL But anywho~ That's their current leader. The one before him was the one to take away Midori's father. Oddly enough, Kuro is the Old leader's son! So as you can see, there's bad blood since Midori's father is the one who took out the Naigunsotsu leader.

And if you didn't understand what had happened on the last two paragraphs...A Legendary used a move that has an effect on time. The town was on fire, but it was later reversed by Kuro by the same move that had transported Midori to this new area. I'll give you Midori's location in two chapters. The next one is going to be some internal conflict. ENJOY! LOL

Well, I'm doing something special for Midori Adventures right now. If you hear about what I'm doing, DON'T SPREAD IT!

I'm pretty sure the one person I've told has already told someone, so in that case, I've decided to change what I originally talked to him about it.

Vott was the one I was discussing this, I came up the idea to instead make movies of this, instead of writing. Since this movie process would take longer then simply writing it I've decided to scrap the idea. Midori Adventures' write is currently taking a break and studying for finals.

Midori Adventures will return at a later time. The time to be precise is currently unknown at the time. Just so none of you get any ideas of my plans here's one thing I want to set straight before any of you get high expectations, I will NOT be making movies! It takes far too long to produce movies of the game so that is out of the question. Do not ask for me to tell you what I am doing for Midori Adventures because I will not reply.

Midori Adventures: Chapter 6

Encounter with Midori



Midori's eye lids had lifted, he was laying on the cold floor. He placed his hands beside him, touching the floor. His muscles lifted the upper half of his body as he came to a sitting position. Pushing with his hands he then moved his joints, muscles and being to stand up straight, Only to fully notice he was located no where. There were no sounds, No colors, complete darkness. He lifted his hands and looked at them, The normal tan like skin tone was replaced by a black and white shade instead. He lifted his vest looking at it, black and white. He then looked up as two figures had been standing there. One the shade of dark, the other the shade of light. He opened his mouth slowly about to ask a question as the dark figure cut him off. “We are no more than candles burning in the wind” Midori quickly closed his mouth as the White figure spoke. "We are not in your world anymore, That was your question, How do I know? This thought it going through your head, but it is also going through ours." Midori blinked, a bit confused as the white figure continued "We share thoughts, We share heartbeats, we share the same identity, do you understand now?" Midori nodded and then opened his mouth once more.

“Beginning is easy - continuing hard” The Black figure spoke. Midori nodded, understanding what must be done. The White figure began to talk "As you now, we are your Yin and Yang, Yang being I, Yin being I, and you being I." Midori nodded as Yang continued. "Naigunsotsu, they have a great deal of members." The Yin figure then stated “A single arrow is easily broken, but not ten in a bundle”, followed by the speech of Yang. "You see, I, being you and myself. I , or we cannot bring down this menace our selves." Midori's mouth opened as no words had formed. "Yes, we do have our pokemon, But we also need help from others. As you can see, Naigunsotsu is a rather larger corporation, think of it like this.." Yang then stopped as Yin took over. “Knowledge without wisdom is a load of books on the back an as-" Yang then coughed stopping Yin from finishing the sentence with the final S. "So, Do you understand?" He paused and then answered his own question "Of course you do..." They then turned and began to travel, Midori then simply followed.

“Fall seven times and stand up eight.”, “It is better to travel hopefully than to arrive disenchanted”, “The reverse side also has a reverse side.” The Yin side continued to mumble. They had reached their destination, It looked the same as this whole place, the floors, Pitch Black, The walls, Pitch Black and so forth. Yang then turned around and pointed. "This is our vessel, do you see it?" Midori couldn't see, as Yang shook his head. Yin then expressed “Vision without action is a daydream. Action without vision is a nightmare.” Midori continued to look in the place where Yang was pointing. Speckles of color began to drop. Soon, rivers of color had been splashed upon the land. It was obvious to them where they were. "Midori, Now look..." Midori looked down to see his body, fully colored. Yang shook his head, "No, you're not dead, We were all just separated.." Midori looked up with a confused look. Yang then smiled, "We are you, You are We, You're question upon how we found you. The simple answer is, you can't physically lose yourself and then not mentally know where your body is..." Yang then laughed at the Irony of the situation. Yin spoke once more, “Everyone makes mistakes. That's why there is an eraser on every pencil.” Midori nodded as the three regained their position and humbled Home named Midori.

Ao, and Fisshu were still out, staring over Midori as his eyes opened, "Wow..." He paused, taking in everything that had happened. "What?" He then stood up, pointing Fisshu's pokeball at him. "Return Fisshu!" A red beam had shot from the ball as it touched Fisshu is pigment changed as well. After the change of color Fisshu had been returned to his pokeball. Midori placed his hand on Ao's head and smiled. "Let's go see Maylene, shall we?" Ao smiled and then began walking ahead. Midori looked around, subconciously, he knew he was about to make a choice that would change his experiences inevitably.

Ao and Midori walked, looking at each building. None seeming like a Gym. "Where are we anyway?" He looked at a sign, written on it was the name Veilstone." He laughed and then looked to the south and pointed. "There it is!" Let's get moving then!" Midori's left foot guided his body as he began to walk. Still contemplating what was going on. After reaching the insides of the gym, they couldn't seem to find the girl with the pink hair. They looked around in confusion, and still could not find her. Midori turned to a man standing by some statue. "Err, Sir, Is Maylene here right now?" The man shook his head. "Well, it's hard to tell when she is here, She's possibly training due south. If you're lucky, you can meet her and pour your feelings for her!" Midori's eyes and mind went blank. "WHAT!?" The man laughed and then pushed Midori, "Go get her tiger!"

After the little misunderstanding had happend, he was pushed out the door only to bump into the very one he was looking for. The man laughed, Midori blushed, and Maylene was confused. Midori's throat was closed shut from being rather embarrassed. His voice was horse and inarticulate. "Err, M-maylene...I...Um, Need to talk to you..." His blush had covered the rest of his face as the Man continued laughing at the two teens. "Like I said! Go Get her tiger!" The man closed the doors to the gym, leaving the two outside as his laughter could still be heard. Maylene gave a smile, "What's all this laughter about?" Midori coughed, clearing his throat as his heart still raced. "Um...Maylene...I need you..." She blushed and then looked away in a shy manner. "Oh...So that's what that's about...Midori, we've only just met, I don't think we could be together." Midori jumped up, his face bright red. "NO NO!!! THAT'S NOT IT!" She giggled and then faced him. "Of course, I'm only joking around, no need to be so scared."

After a few minutes of small chit chat, the conversation become more serious. "Um, Maylene, what I'm really here for is...I need your help." She nodded and smiled, of course you do, And I accept. In fact, I just came back from a meeting with the other Gym leaders!" Midori blinked, not knowning the gym leaders actually kept in touch. "So...You know?" She nodded, "We also know about what they have put you through." He nodded, looking down. "But, Um! Don't be sad!" She smiled and grabbed Midori's hand. The Older fellow who had just recovered from a laugh attack had walked out to see the two hands conjoined. He laughed more, returning to the gym. Midori's face was the color of a stop sign as he sighed.

Maylene smiled and then continued, "What I was about to say was, we've got your back! But, You need to collect more gym badges to get the others to be persuaded, Roark, Gardenia and I are on your side because we already know how good of a trainer you are!" She smiled, "But the others, they didn't really seem to be so Jump-start about it...So, right now, I'm going to issue a challenge!" She jumped back and got into a martial Arts fighting stance. "You have to beat me in a gym battle before I can let you continue!" Midori's got more serious as he smiled. "Alright, you've got yourself an opponent now!"

Yeah, I know it may get confusing at times. But I don't like to keep my characters in an area for so long. I like to constantly change scenery...It shows who's really paying attention XD

Don't worry about what others think :) Write what your heart tells you, and you'll be fine :)
You can't go through life trying to please everyone, so just concentrate on pleasing yourself ;)

Midori Adventures: Chapter 8

Encounter with Maylene

Maylene smiled with great anticipation, "Hehehe, I can't wait!" Midori nodded, she threw he pokeball and out came Meditite. "Get ready Midori! I'm not hold any punches just because you're cute!" Midori blushed and frowned at the same time. Ao then stepped forward as Midori put his hand out. "Wait Ao, I want Fisshu to do this!" Ao looked up at Midori and then sadly nodded. Midori reached into his back pocket and threw his pokeball. Maylene gasped "Wow! a Gyrados! Already!?" Midori nodded and pointed at Meditite. "Use Thrash!" Gyrados then Maylene called out. "Alright Meditite! Use Detect!" She smiled as Meditite's eyes began to glow green. Gyrados then began to close in ad Meditite then jumped out of the way.

Midori had expected this as he called out "Now use Splash!" Gyrados then flopped around, hitting Meditite softly. Meditite slowly moved back as Maylene blinked. "But....That move..." She smiled and then clutched her fist. "Genius! She then called out to Meditite. "Now use Drain Punch!" As Gyrados was so large, it was no wonder why He was easily attacked. Fisshu then fained after being struck by the Meditite. He looked at Maylene, blushing a bit thinking about earlier.

He quickly shook his head as Ao stepped forward. Midori put his hand infront of Ao again. "Wait, I've got this..." He took out Fisshu's pokeball as he returned him. "Alright Fisshu, that was an amazing job, I'm truly proud of you..." He smiled, shrinking the ball to fit in his belt loop. "Now...Go Shinjo!" He threw out the pokeball that contained Shinjo as She was sent into battle.

Maylene looked at Midori and then at Shinjo. "What are you planning?" Midori smiled and then stood there. "After you Maylene." She blinked and then stood up, "Well...if you insist..." She then grinned. "Meditite! DRAIN PUNCH!" Meditite then threw a punch at Shinjo. Just as Midori had predicted. "Shinjo! Splash!!!" Shinjo began to jounce around, dodging the Drain Punch. "Great!" Maylene laughed, "Wow! Even more Genius!" retaining her form, she called out. "Alright Meditite! Use Meditate!" Midori hadn't planned on this. "I guess, we shall wait for now..."

Midori had already know that he had lost this battle from the start. Maylene then smiled. "Use Drain punch again!" This series of Drain punches and dodging by using Splash Continued for a couple of minutes. Maylene smiled. "You're going to have to stop using that move sometime!" Midori had smiled and then called out. "Use Struggle!" Shinjo's Splash moves had ran out, with all of it's attacks gone, it was allowed to struggle. Shinjo then attacked Maylene's Meditite, knocking it out. She gasped and then returned Meditite to her pokeball. She looked sadly down to it. "I was so busy, I forgot to take you to the Pokemon Center..." She looked up at Midori and spoke. "Wait...We can't continue you..." Midori nodded.

He stood up straight and then returned Shinjo to her pokeball. "I noticed that Shinjo was easily dodging Meditite's moves, so I figured that you forgot to take them to the pokecenter..." He smiled a bit, as he held out his hand. "I could walk you to the Pokecenter, if you'd like..." She smiled, taking his hand as they strolled along, giving more idol chit chat. Midori's truly happiness had been reached, meeting the girl of his dreams was one of the things he had always hoped for. And there she is, she's the one holding his hand. Even between the few seconds of silence, Midori would sigh with such Content. "Maylene..." He spoke gently. She looked at him and smiled. "Yes Midori?" Midori chocked up and then turned away. "N-nothing..." Ao shook his head as he was tagging along behind the two love birds to be.

Finally reaching the Pokecenter, they sat down as they both waited for their pokemon to heal. Midori was gazing upon Maylene with a lovestruck way in which Maylene herself was giving him. Not a word was spoken, but looking at the two, you'd know the whole conversation was between their eyes. After a few minutes of goggling Nurse Joy appeared at the table. "Your pokemon have made a full recovery!" Midori jumped a bit, tripping over the seat he was sitting on. Maylene giggled and helped him up. "For such a genius, you can be so clumsy." By the time they had headed out of the Pokecenter, it was already getting dark. Midori looked at his Poketch, it's dark green color seemed to fight the trees perfectly. He blinked a bit, and then looked at Maylene. "Err, I didn't notice it was so late..." He looked down, trying to hide the fact that he didn't really want to say good night. She smiled, taking his hand. "Well, I live a bit of ways, You could walk me home, couldn't you?" Both had smiled, and apparently getting what they both had wanted, more time to be spent with each other.

It was at this point that Midori had released something, Maybe this was the choice that would change things. He looked at Maylene, She looked at him. His face changed quickly to face the other side. He began to fix his hair, his pulse was mad. His knees shook along with every bone in his body. He had never racked up enough nerve to ask such a question upon a girl like her. "M...Maylene....I wanted to ask...If um..." He blushed, looking down. She stopped walking, as did he. She smiled and put her hands on his shoulders. "You're shivering Midori..." She giggled, Although Midori didn't notice, but she already knew the question and she already had her answer. "So what did you want to ask me?" Midori then controlled his shivering, He became calm, he looked up and gave her the longest stare of a life time. "Maylene, would you be mine?" She laughed and nodded. "Of course, I've been waiting for you to ask for the past 30 minutes."

Midori felt rather dumb, It wasn't even that hard of a question to ask. It was simple words, but the feelings were so great. But after the question was asked, and the answer that he wanted was applied, He had a lovely lady resting her head on his shoulder as he walked her home. He smiled, thinking to himself, who knew things you want the most are easily obtained? He continued to think. Maylene laughed after looking at Midori's smile. "I think you could guide the way home if it gets dark enough with that smile." They both laughed, Two assumed love birds had become to very in love people. For now that is.




Fewww, I decided to do a double whammy...XD As you could read, there's a little romance going on! LOL I couldn't post anything that romantic though, considering this site is also for kids, So I guess no kissey kissey goo-goo is allowed XD I didn't mean to really leave it at a random point like that, I mean, Maylene isn't even home yet...But I'm pretty sure something is going to pop up along the way of taking her home....By popping up, I mean a bad guy...>.>

Midori Adventures: Chapter 9

Encounter with Failure

The two, hand in hand walked along the river side. Midori smiling at Maylene, as she did the same. "So, you live out rather far..." Midori said while smiling as he looked up the path. "Well," She spoke, "It's not that far away for me." She smiled, leaning her head on his shoulder. Midori sighed with great content as the water began to produce waves. Midori glanced at it at first thinking, Hmm, that's weird, I don't feel any wind... He then turned his head in a jolt to fully see the water as a pokemon shot out of the water. Water vapors could be seen in the moon light as they surrounded the Pokemon. All he could see was the silhouette as Maylene gasped. "That's Kyogre!" She stepped back as Midori looked at the Kyogre. Upon the Kyogre was a person, Midori tried harder to see. "Midori, you shall become ashes once I am finished!" the figure said, it spoke again. "Kyogre! Sheer Cold!" The temperature began to drop. Ao shivered as Midori took out his pokeball, "Return Ao!" The red beam then caught Ao as he returned to his pokeball. He then looked at Maylene and spoke softly, "I'm sorry Maylene, but, I have to leave for now." She looked at him, tears in her eyes. "Midori, you have to promise me that you come back!" He smiled, whipping the tears from her beautiful eyes, "I promise..." He hugged her tightly as he then ran off into the distance. The Kyogre then diverted its attention to Midori's movements and then soon followed after him. Running a few paces he decided to get Kyogre away from the water. The path they were on was next to some water and also near a forested area. Midori ran towards the forest, huffing and puffing the sweet oxygen from the night air.

--Huff, Huff-- He swiftly glided to the back of a tree, hiding from the pokemon and its controller. His thoughts were racing, I can't risk having my pokemon hurt...What can I do? "Ice Beam!" was heard as the trees began to freeze. Midori looked back to find that it no longer looked like summer but more of a winter. He dashed to further back into the forest. He continued to hear Ice beams being shot off. The man on the Kyogre then laughed "I'll find you Midori!" Midori then took a deep breath as he formed an idea. Glancing from the back of the tree, he was able to see Kyogre. He then smiled, picking up a rock. He threw it from his position, hitting a bush. Kyogre turned that way as the controller then called out Ice Beam. The Ice beam made a rather heavy sound. Counting the time it took for the Ice beam to end, it was about 4 seconds. He threw another rock, which triggered the Kyogre using ice beam. In the four seconds, Midori dashed towards the outside of the forest. In 3 seconds, he decided to stop and hide behind another tree. He then waited for the Kyogre to use another ice beam.

After a minute or two, the Kyogre hadn't used Ice beam. He picked up another near by rock and tossed it. This last ice beam gave him enough time to sprint the last 6 meters of the forest to exit. After exiting the forest he quickly slid behind each tree, advance towards Maylene's home. Every few seconds he would check to look at which way the Kyogre was facing. After getting around 32 meters away from her house a large rumble started. The ground began to crack as Midori swiftly turned. The appearance of a large creature, the tone of red had processed in Midori's brain as "Groudon"

The ground continued to shake, it seemed to be more violent as time had passed. Another figure, different then the last with a feminine voice called out "Fire Blast!" Laughing could be heard through out the air as the Kyogre then appeared behind Midori. shoot! He yelled in his head as he then dodged the Fire Blast by jumping into the lake. He began to swim in the lake. After a few seconds he had gained the position of behind the Kyogre. He then got out of the water, dripping wet. Gaining his footing on the ground large slushing noises could be heard. Midori, soaked with water pointed at the two. "Who are you!?"

The two figures jumped down from the Legendary pokemon and walked forward casually. The male figure then spoke "You see, we're with Naigunsotsu. We were instructed to take you down by any means necessary." They both laughed, The male figure with long and slender, Black hair that seemed to spike like mountains in a distant view. The female was slender, but short, looking about the age of 12. She had black hair as well and it was straight and shoulder length. Midori stepped back as the two continued to walk towards him. "And why are you trying to eliminate me?" The two laughed again as the girl spoke, "Isn't if ovious? We are here to distoy yewh because yewh are the one standing in our waeh!" He nodded and then yelled "Fisshu! NOW!"

Fisshu then flew from the water in a loud roar. Large waves began to collapse onto the road as Midori then yelled "Twister!!!" Fisshu then created a Twister, it began to whirl, creating a large suction. Rocks leaves and ice particles began to be sucked into the Twister. It approached the Two members of Naigunsotsu. The male then yelled out "Ice beam!" The Kyogre did nothing as Midori laughed. The two were then swirled into the twister as it traveled through the forest. Midori laughed as his plan worked. "You see, using Ice beam multiple times will have it run out, that's why I made you waste it in the forest. I knew if you were trying to stop a twister it would be possible by adding an Ice Beam. Since Fire Blast would only create a very large fire explosion." He continued to laugh as he pointed Fisshu's pokeball at him. "Return!" Fisshu had returned to the pokeball, Midori shrunk it as he placed it in his belt loop. He looked at the two legendaries as he approached them. "You two can go home now..." He stared at them blanky as a voice shouted out "Midori!"

Maylene came running down the road smiling brightly as she tackled him to the ground. "Gah! Maylene!" She laughed and smiled holding him to the ground. "You're not going anywhere now!" They had been laughing together, hugging and talking nonsense. Midori then looked up at the two legendaries, they were standing still. It was at that point that those weren't actually Groudon and Kyogre, they were actually genetic mutations. He stood, hand and fingers interlaced with Maylene. "Hmm, that's rather sad..." He looked at Maylene. "But it explains that vibe..." Maylene looked at him, a bit confused. "What do you mean?" He glanced at the two genetic pokemon, then back to Maylene. "They aren't real. Naigunsotsu must be messing with Pokemon's genetic structures. But they must have gotten a sample of these legendary pokemon...But how?"

Midori began to ponder this as Maylene sighed, holding his hand tighter. "Groudon! FISSURE!" The Groudon then became active, Its eyes glow red, almost as red as its outer skin. The pokemon then lifted its leg then slamming it to the ground. The very ground that had been struck began to shake and crumble. This shaking and crumbling reached Midori's feet. He let go of Maylene as she then grabbed onto his arm. "No! I'm not letting you go!" She yelled. The earth cracked and was gone beneath their feet. Dropping down the fissure yelling and screaming could be heard. The two Naigunsotsu members walked out from the forest, and then traveled back to Veilstone city.

Is this is for Midori!?

Well, It seems Midori Adventures has come to a close. Sorry guys! Fortunately, I'll be back sometime with season 2, but with a different name probably. Welp, I hope you've liked season one as much as I've liked writing it. If you have any questions about the story, don't be afraid to post them. Well...first things first...my computer just crashed, losing all of my data...LOL

As I had stated, that was the ending...Of season One...LOL the next season's chapters will be much longer and much more scripted! I'm currently on my PSP so I can't really write the newest season but hopefully I can get it done sooner or later! until next time!

To start things off, I'd like to say "Hello again!" LOL, I hadn't really been as active as I use to, posted every once and a while, made a few topics and ect, and watched as Midori Adventures gathered plenty of dust. Well, here I am again, with an assortment of stories, ideas and new adventures! Hopefully I can capture the hearts of readers by giving this story a bit more of a life. Of course, I'll be starting the story again, Season 2 of Midori Adventures. I had lots of fun writing it, even though it was a few chapters. I've decided that instead of creating little stories, that I'd instead extend each chapter. Making it around 20-30 paragraphs instead of the little 7-10 ones. So, let's all hold hands on go on this great journey with Midori, Ao, and his current affection Maylene! Please mind that there was a time skip XD

The crack of dawn, the sun was hiding behind a sea of gray clouds. The temperature of the ground wasn't the same as the temperature of the airs, giving the area a mask of fog. The sweet scent was unfamiliar to his nose, the new found gray day light made his pupils shrink to the size of peas. A sigh came from his lips as he exited from a nearby mountain side. A short breeze came, carrying the aroma of the wet air to his nostrils. Drawing a deep breath, the boy stepped forth. A large figure, round and large followed, each step taken was a bit of a shake. After the large Pokemon a girl, pink hair grown to her shoulders, white bandage on her nose, and a rather built fisique, came from the cave.

This trio strayed from the very mountain they had exited. "Midori" The girl said, "Do you have any idea where we are?" The boy, who was labeled Midori didn't say a word as he continued walking down a path of flattened grass. The Pokemon stopped for a bit as did the female, they both waited for him to answer. Midori, stopping abruptly, still facing the direction he was headed, spoke out. "We're headed to Jubilife City of course." Being reassured by his voice and the distinct sense that he was still sane gave them the courage to further go their struggles.

The air became a lot less dense deeper into the travel, The boy leading the others to an area quiet familiar. As the female, named Maylene, tried to start a conversation with Midori, it was apparent he was in a trained thought, it was obvious what he was thinking about. She closely followed the blue pokemon and smiled "Ao, You know what Midori is thinking about, Don't you?" The pokemon nodded while still looking towards its master. "Ao," She paused, "Do you think he's going to be alright?" the pokemon nodded again, with more of a reassuring emotion. Maylene then nodded, looking to her closest friend and love.

Ahead, a few paces was Midori, his eyes were moving, a sure sign of his brains process. Those Nakitama...It's been 2 years, they are going to pay for their mistakes. "What if they have taken over Midori?" Midori stopped and then looked back at Maylene, still in thought, he then processed the question and then turned to continue forward. "Then we will have to change that, wouldn't we." As Midori then continued to think about that question, he spoke to himself. What if they had taken over? Those legendaries they created are proof they have power. What is it exactly they are trying to do? Their struggles, their faith, their goals and their passions have not changed from the two years of underground life.

A growling noise, very distinctive to the one that comes from a hungry belly roared. "Hang on Ao, We're close, I can feel it..." Midori said as his steps began to lose their walking status. The others began to trot behind him, a bit excited to finally be to a place they have memories of. Maylene smiled, Midori ran with a burning passion in his eyes and Ao ran with a growl coming from his gut. Midoris feet touched a familiar area, this area known as Jubilife City. Everything was the same as it was 2 years ago. Midori smiled as he could clearly see the TV station. The fog that had been covering the town had lifted along with the ocean of gray clouds.

Midori looked up, his green, pure eyes meeting the blue and pure sky. He gazed out into it as if there was no ending to the beauty. A hand wrapped around his as his mind came back down to earth. "Midori, You missed your home...didn't you?" He smiled and closed his eyes, taking a deep inhale of the memories of the past. "Nostalgic at its best." He then looked at Maylene and then stepped forward, Ao trailing behind just like old times.

As the three passed by, whispering could be heard from older folk from the village. Rumors had spread to the edge of the town. As they reached the Pokemon center, Midori was then stopped by two people. "It's been so long Midori! Where have you been!?" Midori blinked as the boy then spoke. "Yeah, it's not every day that a Hero goes missing for two years!" These two faces resided in Midori's memories, he began to think and as their names popped into his head. "Momoiro...Chario..." He began to laugh. "Wow, to be honest, I couldn't recognize you guys!" The expression on the siblings did not seem like a happy one. "Where have you been!?" asked Momoiro. Midori looked at the two, a serious expression on his face, as he spoke again "How about we talk about this over breakfast." The two, still a bit angry, walked into the pokecenter as they were followed by the labeled hero, his love, and his friend.

The four sat at a table, as Ao sat on the floor while munching on some Pokefood. The two, brother and sister looked at their hero, waiting for his question. He began to think, knowing it was hard to remember exactly what happened. "Well," He started as the two leaned forward to listen to the story. "Hmm, It all happened when I came back to Jubilife after beating Roark..." He then continued the story as the two became knowledgeable of the events. "So," Momoiro, "Maylene, is the missing gym leader?" Midori and Maylene nodded, although they had not known that she was "missing" Maylene then spoke, "So, did they replace me at the gym?"

Chario nodded and flashed his Veilstone Badge. "Of course, after the first month of your disappearance, you were replaced by an understudy, who by my standards was a sinch." Midori glanced at the badge and smiled. "I see you've become more grown up!" Chario then flashed 6 more badges, he then laughed at Midori as he showed only 2. "Wow Midori, looks like I'm just as strong as you!" Midori smiled and then spoke calmly. "Badges aren't a sign of power, they are obviously just a historical reference." Chario blinked for a bit and then asked "What do you mean?" Midori, still smiling like always continued. "Well, you see, Gym leaders are people who have great talents in that city. I can see why you'd think it was about power, but no, that's incorrect." He then looked a bit more serious. "True power can't be represented in a simple nik-nak."

The food had arrived from one of the waitresses at the pokemon center, the conversation then stopped as the 4 began eating their food. A few minutes had passed on the clock as they began to finish up their meals. Midori's green eyes glanced to Maylene's pink eyes, she smiled and giggled as she placed her hand on top of his. The two siblings both stood up at the same time, choking on some of their meal. "You two are an item!?" asked Momoiro a bit furious and confused at the same time. Midori nodded as did Maylene, "Of course...." A few moments of silence was followed by the statement. Midori lifted his glass and took a sip of his milk.

"So, you guys were stuck underground for the 2 years?" asked Chario, Midori nodded as he put the glass back on the coaster. "Yeah, pretty much, I'd guess Nakitama thought that would be the end of me, but it wasn't so bad, we found a couple of hikers here and there, and also a place to stay for a while." He smiled and then stood up. "Well, I'd guess we ought to head out." He looked down at Maylene, then to Ao. "You guys ready?" They both nodded as they headed towards the door, Midori lifted his hand up and spoke in a classic tone "Every goodbye makes the next hello closer." He formed his hand like a gun, moving his thumb signified that he has shot off a round.

Midori closed his eyes after exiting the pokemon center, midori closed his eyes. "We're headed West..." He smiled as they began to leave Jubilife. Midori turned around, looking at the towering buildings. "The loss of a friend is like that of a limb. Time may heal the anguish of the wound, but the loss cannot be repaired." He placed his hand onto Maylenes as he fingers wrapped around his knuckles, all 3 of them knowing they would not return to this place once more. The sun began to set, their feet began to touch wooden planks. Midori continued forward as Maylene stopped, "Midori, We don't have any pokemon that can swim..." She looked at him, his feet carrying onward. "Ao, you've got this covered..." Ao ran forward to the end of the dock, lifting off the ground from the power in his legs, then creating a small tidle wave. Maylene blinked for a bit as Midori hopped onto Ao's stomach, extending a hand towards her. She smiled, took his hand, and jumped onto the stomach.

"Onward Ao! We are headed to Canalave City!" He pointed to the west as Ao's body began to move, His legs began to kick as he floated on his back. "Good Job Ao, just like I taught you!" He laughed, then sat down, Maylene sat next to him as he placed his head on her shoulder. "Each second is one step closer to Nakitama.." Stated Midori as maylene stroked his head. "Of course, we'll get to them sooner or later..." He smiled from the reassurance and then closed his eyes. "When it comes to the future, there are three kinds of people: those who let it happen, those who make it happen, and those who wonder what happened" Midori spoke softly then continued, "I consider myself to be the one who makes it happen..." She smiled and then glanced up and yelled "Hey! We're here!" Maylene stood up and pointed. Midori smiled, seeing the buildings in the distance was a sort of nostalgic feeling. They finally reached the seconds Dock, the sun had departed for its eternal watch over the world as Midori, Maylene and Ao departed for their watch over the region.

Welp, tis good to be back with a new chapter...Although it's sadly short, I procrastinating majority of the time, especially today XD
