Checking out serebii today they reveled a little bit of the trailer of the 12th movie that was showed in japan. Also serebii said that the trailer had a Question mark circle over a pokemon next to Pikachu. It was rumored it might be a electric type or so. It might be a 5th Gen Poke (Not Likely),A New form of a poke like rotoms new forms or maybe Arceus!

It'll be interesting to see what the question marked pokemon is. :-D A little suspense for poke-geeks. I can't wait to get home so that I can check out the trailer for myself. :)

Another thing is that Pokebeach.com has the trailer and on the bit near the end where they show it it shows pikachu and the pokemon covered in the question mark jumping and you can see some blue bits come out of the poke and stuff. So they said it dosent look familer with any other pokemon so it might be a brand new pokemon. Lets hope for 5th Gen!

I personally hope it isn't; if they reveal a Poke from GenV, that sends a signal to me they have no plans to make any other games for GenIV (and I'm one of those gamers who are hoping for a GSC DS remake).

me too! Personaly, I think g/s/c was the best game world so far with some kanto and I just like the 2nd gen pokes the most too

How early in the Hoenn series was Munchlax revealed? Didn't May have her munchlax fairly early on?

If i'm counting right, they do 3 movies for each generation, this being the last one for D/P.

I dont know how much time-wise the anime SERIES coincides with the game releases, but with platinum just out, I can't see them releasing a full new generation anytime before 2010 or so.

Just curious how the timing ends up playing out when they release stuff like that in the anime.

actually, it get rid of the super effective against ground. it only has to worry about rock, fire, and flying. and they are all hit for neutral with electric moves, flying being hit for super effective. so it can go pretty far in that sense
