One of my favorite games of all time, i have to say. I have fallen in love with this un-advertised and Highly under-appreciated game series. Guilty Gear has had one of the best OST's for ANY video game i've ever heard EVER. I've considered buying all their tracks (even after downloading them) several times, and i do intend to buy them all. The game's music isn't even the only thing good about the series. Their art is great, i mean ANIME good, they've even had a short five minute animation for the series promoting their "Guilty Gear X" series (who knows, there is rumors for an anime). The characters (although, not as noticable when you pick up some of the games), have very distinct personalities and characters. Each person represents something that we see in ourselves and in others. They have real depth to them, unlike many other fighters out there, and there is a real story behind everything, a REAL good story (although, it's hard to get the full story at first, especially with titles such as "Guilty Gear Isuka" and "Guilty Gear Accent Core", because they don't carry on a story mode like the best game in the series "Guilty Gear X2" which covers every characters story and background. I have to say, their voice actors are quite amazing too, as they add to the personality of each character. The fighting engine is quite amazing really, easy to pick up and at the sametime challenging to master( a fun challenge). It's a fun game and i can say i've easily spent about 1000 hours on the game. I have to credit the men who made this game possible, especially the man who came up with just about everything when the game was first made, Daisuke Ishiwatari. This man is amazing, he came up with the artwork, (composed) the music, characters, gameflow, and even did voice acting. And the marvelous band that started the series off was lapis lazuli ( i may have mispelled their name), but the ones that really made their music absolutely amazing, was none other than my favorite band, A.S.H. These men are talented, and even pulled off a live performance for about half of the songs from the Guilty Gear X2 game. They changed up the songs a little bit, so it definitely made it worth it to listen to those versions. Ok, my little rant is over, and you can most definitely tell that this is the game i'm obsessed over.:D
