Well, here is the Sand Storm team I have been using quite recently and it has been doing quite well. Just wanted to see if there is anything I can do to make it better :D

Quick overview: :450: :462: :145: :248: :472: :212:

In-Depth overview:

:450:
Hippowdon @ Leftovers
Impish
252 HP / 152 Defence / 104 Sp. Defence
- Earthquake
- Slack Off
- Stealth Rock
- Roar

His purpose is quite simple, set up Stealth Rock, Roar to reveal more of my opponents team, and just flat out wall physical attackers

:462:
Magnezone @ Leftovers
28 HP / 20 Attack / 240 Special Attack / 220 Speed
Hasty
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power Fire
- Substitute
- Explosion

EV'd to outspeed Adamant Scizor with full speed and OHKO with HP Fire. Explosion is for after Magnezone has finished his job.

:145:
Zapdos @ Leftovers
252 HP / 204 Defence / 16 Sp. Attack / 36 Speed
- Thunder Bolt
- Heat Wave
- Hidden Power Grass
- Roost

Basically a standard Bulky Zapdos. Walls Lucario, Scizor and other main physical threats. Hidden Power Grass gives Swampert a hard time.

:248:
Tyranitar @ Leftovers
252 HP / 20 Atk / 16 Sp. Defence / 220 Speed
Jolly
- Dragon Dance
- Crunch
- Earthquake
- Substitute

EV'd so that it outruns Gengar after one Dragon Dance and OHKO's it with Crunch. Substitute for protection from Will-O-Wisp and it makes setting up on Blissey a breeze.

:472:
Gliscor @ Choice Scarf
48 HP / 252 Attack / 208 Speed
Adamant
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Ice Fang
- U-Turn

My revenge killer. EV'd to outrun Timid Scarf-Tran with max speed.

:212:
Scizor @ Life Orb
4 HP / 252 Attack / 252 Speed
Adamant
- Swords Dance
- Bullet Punch
- Superpower
- X-Scizor

What will be the standard Scizor. Though mine has max speed to outrun other Scizors.

And that's the team. Rate and fix as you see fit, please. :D

That's a good Sandstorm Team. Just a tad, wittle weak on Sp.Def if Tyranitar goes away. But more likely he wont. For T-Tar I would add Stone Edge instead of EQ, but thats just me. Good Team.

By the way, dont u dislike it when no one like ever says anything 'bout the Team you posted? xD

Ape weak, Lucario weak, anything with a high special, or the ability to boost his Special, will crush this team. Anything with Ice Beam/Fire Special will oblierate. Dragons for example! ;P

This might be why you have subsitute but if this for Plt. then i would put magnet rise on Magnazone

Well, firstly...

If Lucario gets a SD it can crush most teams, so congrats. And yes, Ape does play well against this team, but with Ape not being used half as much as it was in DP, thats not as much of a problem. More problematic pokes for this team would be the likes of Starmie, Suicune, Heatran. Common in the Platinum metagame.

Anyway, its about time i actually did something to help.

Your team as stated above has a huge weakness to anything with a decent STAB Surf behind it, the likes of Heatran too can cause this team problems, with your only "counter" being the surprise of the choice item on Gliscor. For those reasons i suggest adding Vaporeon to your team, in place for Magnezone or Gliscor. Using a ToxicWish set such as "188 HP / 252 Def / 68 SpAtk - Bold - Surf, Wish, Protect, Toxic" imo would be more supportive to the team, you lack any real offence so the passive damage of Toxic can help your Tyranitar and your Scizor sweep late game. But i'll get onto that later.

In terms of your Hippowdon, theres not a lot that i can say. There are only two things i see wrong with it. One would be its EV's and the second (which im sure your already aware off) is the fact you lose 1-1 to anything that isnt touched by EQ. The smogon EVs were obviously the starting ground for you to adapt on them. But the 16 EV's your not using in Attack can be used for better things.

I think you should keep Zapdos, you obviously know the set i would give you, and id post it but i feel mean and cba to make everyone elses Zapdos' as good as they can be xD Thunder-Wave is normally the better option for Zapdos, but seeing as Swampert is always a problem, i suggest keeping HP Grass purely for him.

Tyranitar is where things start to get interesting, see your Tyranitar set is purely built for late game, yet your Scizor is also built for playing in the late game, and as Tyranitar is the core of the team it simply cant be dropped, so that means that you have to change the set your Tyranitar is using, as Scizor plays a much better late game then this does. I suggest building a MixTar using Fire Blast and Ice Beam as your special attacks to create opportunities for that much needed damage. MixTar combined with LO and Toxic from Vaporeon gives the team some much needed damage.

Nothings wrong with Scizor, but you know this already. And i see no need to change it for anything.

Which leaves us with the two pokes we should be subbing for. Magnezone and Gliscor imo is the weak point of the team, and obviously with me suggesting one of them being swapped with Vaporeon, were still left with one. So i suggest the last poke to be swapped with Heatran. Heatran provides you with a much loved Fire resist, as well as being able to cause damage during the early and middle stages of the match.

Well yeah... Im'a stop now xD <3

Liek, G! Uber first post! w00t! And, as usual, you see everything wrong with my team, lol. I was actually thinking of using Celebi and Vappy but Heatran and Vappy sounds fine so I'll give that a try. And yes, I know your Zappy EV's and I'm already using them =P

And of course, you also spotted my middle-game problem, lol. So I'll change T-Tar's moveset slightly, and also, as you said (wow I'm saying that a lot >.>) Heatran PWNs in all parts of the game.

So...

G!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Uber first post!!! xD
