Ahhh i see. Yeah, i guess ever since SWF kinda went down, there hasn't been much action lately. Maybe once i find a job i will get around to playing you when my internet is at its best. I'll keep all is brawl on my mind though when it comes to looking for matches. :cool:

Well, that's just silly. Banning a whole character already is insane. If we were two or three years into the metagame and found that there was nothing to stop MK, then yes, let's ban him! But the game's FIRST anniversary is just rolling up, and it's a little early.

DDD's grab is not a problem anymore, thanks to the discovery of a good DIing system in Brawl. If you don't know what DIing is, go to www.smashwiki.com and look it up.

I hate how all of Ike's smashes go 180 degrees. It's so hard to fall on the other side, when he swings his sword in a circle. He's also heavy, which makes him herd to launch, and when you do launch him he can just side+b over. He is easily countered by falco who only has to stand at the end of the stage and use th reflector to push him away. If you have a regular rival *mycheapbrothercough* that uses him, give them a good taste of the bird flu.:p

my cheap brother also uses Ike, which is why i asked in the first place. I'll have to test out that Flaco idea.

Because he is the best character and has no bad matchups. Alot of characters dont stand a chance against a good MK.

Yeah, I know what DIing is already. Even when I didn't know the term in 64, it was only natural to push your character in a certain direction in order to stay alive longer. I'm glad they didn't ban MK. I started to play as him before I learned he was the best, only to find out that I might not be able to play as him against other "competitive" players.

I don't hate Ike, however I do believe he is to be feared for his raw power and counter attack. His sword is used more like a bat if you ask me. ._.

I like MK's down+b. It's reallt fun to use, and is almost like a counter.


I just found an uber move with Gannondorf, it's almost undodgeable. and if you miss, you recover:) But I will not give away my secrets....

I also just faced my brother as Ike....I won 1-0 in a 3stock match. FIRE JUMP PUNCH FTW!!!!

MK in Brawl is like Garchomp in Poke'mon I suppose. As for the people really hating MK, yes they do! Very VERY much! I used him on a random wifi battle and all three players jumped me! ONLY ME! I was like okay sheesh I won't use him anymore against you guys... didn't change much though, they still had a vendetta against me. After a while though everyone calmed down and we were all just goofing off. I guess they stopped because I didn't quit even though they were ganging up on me for every match after I picked MK. I showed I was a good sport?... =/

There are several moves that the puff has that just :(:(:(:( ppl off, at least there were in Melee. I have yet to test her out in Brawl, but I really do hope that she's just as annoying as in Melee.

Her rest attack isn't a OHKO like it was in melee, and I belive her rollout doesn't have as much launch, but she's more sturdy. She can't be KOed as easily. But she can use mid-air moves quite well. You can trap heavy characters in it, by constantly using up+A. It's really annoying

I get it now... I guess the tornado attack is better than I thought...

Tornado can do up to 14%, and if you do it 7 times...That's 98%, which can be KOed by the up+B that MK has. Ouch

HA! My friend was all cocky, saying he could play as MK, then I beat him with Jiggly, after I purposly KOed myself by holding down her sheild.:)

Anyone else here use Luigi? He's my favorite/most-usable character in Brawl, as he has many strategies and extra jumps. And his Final Smash is just FREAKIN' AWESOME.

I tried Luigi yesterday for the first time, and he is AWESOME!
his up+B goes much higher than Mario's and all of his smashes are so powerful.
He's light on his feet, much lighter than Ike at least, too.
I'm definitely going to use him more...
