View Full Version : Mewtwo using 50 million recovers!

Ok now i am facing off against MEWTWO in FR. Im attacking him with my umbreon w/bite and all is going very well until Mr mew2 keeps using recover. Now i checked on serebii and recover has a PP of 10, why may i ask does he get to use it like 15-20 times??? :confused:

In Diamond and Pearl the PP is 10 in Fire Red it is 20. Might be a good time to use that Taunt TM

sometimes game developers will forgo the pp rule when it comes to the game i have also noticed this like in pokemon red were they seem to have an endless supply of pp although i cant confirm this but i swear i have encountered this

LOL how sad is that i didn't even check if it was d/p version recover as opposed to FR/LG ok makes more sense now. whats the move that stops a poke from using the same move again?

Disable will work, but only for 4-7 turns. If you have R/S/E, a Sableye learns false swipe and won't take any damage from Mewtwo's moves until it runs out and has to use Struggle.

Shedinja is also a good choice against Mewtwo; it can learn False Swipe (if its evolution from Nincada to Ninjask is delayed a few levels) and Spite, which can clean out Mewtwo's Recover faster. It is also immune to all of Mewtwo's attacks by way of Wonder Guard.
