Starting A New Beginning
(finding the forest haven)
As I arrived at the entrance, I had heard so many stories and rumors about this magnificent place, about all the experiences various trainers had had in this magical area. I was eager to see the mysteries with my own eyes. After defeating the elite four and the Sinnoh champion , I felt like it was time to take a long deserved rest and settle down, with that I entered the forest.
After three hours of searching this deserted sleeping forest, I felt like going back, there had been nothing here, no rare pokemon like I had been told or any mysteries of any kind, just an empty forest with a few common bug pokemon every now and then. I came across a nice tree, completely shaded and decided to have my lunch there. As soon as I became relaxed, a melodious tune rang through my ears. Finally, some action. I quickly wrapped my half eaten sandwich, put it in my bag and ran after the hypnotizing sound. The trees now started to glow a bright vivid green sparkling in the summer breeze. I finally found the source, in a small hole, in a tree, came a small cry which had somehow amplified through the forest. I climbed up and to my surprise found a helpless, injured Celebi. One of the rarest pokemon was just less than two feet away from me. It seemed to be in pain, and started attacking me. As I looked down beneath me, there were herds of pokemon watching my every move, some even looked prepared to attack me. They were all protecting the celebi, this seemed to explain why I couldn’t find any interesting pokemon. Suddenly I remembered that I had carelessly left my bag back at the tree, full of vitamins and medicine, so I rushed back to the tree picked up my bag and ran straight towards the place where I had found celebi, only to find that it had disappeared with the rest of the pokemon.
I checked the hole in the tree for any clues that might help me and found this strange button covered in moss shaped like a pokeball. I pressed it and a trap door opened beneath me!! I found myself falling deeper and deeper, faster and faster until I saw light beaming form underneath me. My arm quickly grabbed Striker’s ( my Gliscor’s ) pokeball, and with a bright flash he jumped out. I thoughtlessly grabbed his tail as he glided into what seemed to be a forgotten paradise under the tree, acres wide filled with pokemon as far as the eye could see. We landed right in front of a strange tree house, I peeked through the window to see if there was anyone there but all I could see was mountains of vitamins, TM’s , berries and various other items including a letter. As I reached for the doorknob all I could think about was how this was the prefect place to settle down in, with my Hoodini’s (my Abra’s) Teleport, coming and going would be a piece of cake. With a land so full pokemon, supplies that could last months and a way in and out, this could truly be my own personal Haven.
