Hey all, i am a bit confused about this Wi-Fi thing. I have tried it so many times but when i connect none of the people i have added pop up. Was wondering if anyone could help me out and explain how the whole Wi-Fi works.

Well...Wi-Fi (Wireless Fidelity)....is a wireless technology that can connect to the Internet when within range of a wireless network connected to the Internet. In order to use WiFI you must do 1 of the following three things...

1) Go to a local "WiFI hotspot" in your community where you cna access WiFi for free or for a small fee (McDoanlds, Barnes and Nobles in some areas)

2) Buy a USB WiFi adapter. It's about $40 and you can use it as long as you have a PC that is connected to the internet and has a USB port.

3) Configure a wireless router to have WiFi compatibilty and add those settings into DS system.

-You need a WiFi to use the Battle Tower, GTS and to trade and battle people from all over the world.
-You do not need WiFI to battle or trade locally.

If I haven't answered your question..please tell me what detail of WiFi you don't understand and I'll be more than happy to help out...>.<

K so i know what Wi-Fi is and how to acquire it and such, but for some reason when i go to the basement of the pokemon centre and go into the Wi-Fi room, there should be a list of your friends that is on, correct? and mine doesnt have a list of anyone that i have added.

Ah, both of you must have each other's friend code registered in order for both of you to see each other.
