Also please tell me any ideas on guys I should remove and what I should replace them with. Sorry I cannot put anything on iv’s for them kind of because I don’t know how they work.

:405:

:395:
Empoleon @ no item
Torrent-hasty
Stats-193/124/116/157/146/116
Avalanche/Hydro pump/Surf/Grass Knot
With empoleon I was looking for a poke to stop mostly any dragon or rock type that comes my way.

:009:
Blastoise@sea incence
Torrent-naughty
Stats-279/238/241/198/198/196
Hydro cannon/Hydro pump/Protect/Surf

Blastoise is my tank. He stops practically anything that comes my way.
:149:
Dragonite @ quick claw
Inner focus-docile
Stats-223/206/164/157/149/137
Hyper beam/twister/dragon rage/slam

Ok I admit it my dragonite really doesn’t have good moves. That is why I want to change.

:006:
Charizard @ leftovers
Blaze-naughty
Stats-252/213/179/236/161/219
Flamethrower/Dragon Rage/Wing Attack/Blastburn

With charizard all I did was take him off of my leafgreen version.

:003:
Venusaur @ no item
Overgrow-Quiet
Stats-248/157/154/200/181/133
Solar beam/Razor Leaf/Frenzy Plant/Toxic

Venusaur was intended to be a replacement for a salamence I traded away on the gts.

Well there is my team and please tell me any improvements I should do to it. Thanks for any help.

switch out shock wave with thunderbolt and replace bite with ice fang

Luxray is my opener poke.

you got two water moves here. Avalance can be replaced by ice beam and surf can be taken out for sub. attach a petaya berry and you got something to be reckoned with

Blastoise@sea incence
Torrent-naughty
Stats-279/238/241/198/198/196

since its a +atk nature, why not try out earthquake/waterfall/avalance/rapid spin

Blastoise is my tank. He stops practically anything that comes my way.

all these moves gotta go. try a dragon dance, with outrage and earthquake and fire punch/fire blast. you can also forgo light screen for support and be able to take a ice beam or two. attach a yache berry to resist ice even more

:006:
Charizard @ leftovers
Blaze-naughty
Stats-252/213/179/236/161/219
Flamethrower/Dragon Rage/Wing Attack/Blastburn

With charizard all I did was take him off of my leafgreen version.

blast burn is a no-no. why not take both blast burn and flamethrower off and put on fire blast for consistency. dragon rage for dragon pulse, keep wing attack and put on sunny day.

:003:
Venusaur @ no item
Overgrow-Quiet
Stats-248/157/154/200/181/133
Solar beam/Razor Leaf/Frenzy Plant/Toxic

Venusaur was intended to be a replacement for a salamence I traded away on the gts.

with sunny day support from charizard, solar beam becomes a 1 turn move. razor leaf can be switched with leech seed. frenzy plant with substitute. and keep toxic

Well there is my team and please tell me any improvements I should do to it. Thanks for any help.

firstly, you need to change up these natures. Natures make all the matter in competitive battling.

is there a thread in the forums that tell what natures are best?

ok rj61 youre blastoise does not atop a vaporon and lapras. also you really need better nature that revelp8 said it does make a difference and you should breed them to perfection like post their iv's when you breed them to see if there good in the stats. like have iv battles and see their iv's and remember 31 is the best iv.

so if i put their stats in the serebii.net iv calculator could i get a rough idea on what their ivs are.

to get a good idea, you need to know EVs...

I will add the IVs later using the serebii.net iv calculator. So far the changes that i have made to my team is replacing luxray with gengar, and replacing venusaur to tyranitar.

Night Shade on Gengar isn't really a move for competitive battling, I believe, nor is Lick. Try to replace those with some TMs, like Sludge Bomb to make use of Gengar's Poison typing. Gengar also learns Dark Pulse which is pretty solid move to know as well.

ii highly doubt all of those since you dont know the evs of the pokes so most of them are wrong.

>.< *sigh*

to check for IVs rj, you would need berries #21-26. You would need about 10 each for all the pokemon you want to check. and then from there, with the EVs cleaned from the pokemon, you have a level 100 battle with a pen and paper ready, or using your Word program on your computer, right down the stats and then put them into the IV calc. Make sure they are the right numbers and with the right nature and right pokemon.

On with the team rate. Tyranitar doesn't really help out the team, as with sandstorm, all of your team members save for empoleon would get hit by sandstorm (because ground, steel, and rock types are not affected by sandstorm, and as an added bonus, rock types receive a special defense boost). usually, you don't want your own team draining your pokemon's HP.

Here's a link with all the beneficial natures (http://www.achievebalance.com/pokemon/natures.htm). look up which nature best coincides with the pokemon by looking at their base stats here (http://pokemon.marriland.com/diamond_pearl/pokedex).type in the pokemon you'd want to use and see their base stats. with that, it usually determines the nature you'd want to use.
