Well, we have finally made it to the top4 single elimination portion of the tournament.

Seeds:

1 - MeowthMix (3-0)
2 - Gouswer (3-0)
3 - Rayfox-Kun (3-0)
4 - Shiny Lucario (2-1)

Note that our top 3 competitors are all 3-0 the Tie Breakers used are as follows.

1st - Opponents match win%
2nd - Player battle win%
3rd - Opponents battle win%

So, here are the matches.

MeowthMix v. Shiny Lucario

Gouswer v. Rayfox-Kun

I look forward to seeing the results of these semi-final matches.

Thank you all for your interest in the EPFL, I assure you that future tournaments will go a tad smoother :)

This season of the EPFL will be closed with no winner at Midnight Central time, March 15th...This Sunday.

Unless, of course the top4 battles are done at that time.

If the top 4 don't want to battle, why not let the runner ups battle for league champion?

Either way, take the ones that are not battling, forfeits or no shows and put the ones that do want to battle in it.

Or if you are wanting to battle and none of the other finalist seem to want to battle, then doesn't that make you the winner by default?

I'm pretty sure everyone wants to battle. It's a matter of other things getting in the way of that. I was unsure if Shiny Lucario contacted anyone up until now, so I guess I'll share the fact that he PM'd me saying other things have come up, and he would unfortunately, like to forfeit.

I was simply going by that it was said the season would end if nothing was done by a set time and there would be no champion. Nobody replied in the thread so I assumed that they were not able to fulfill their duties as a finalist.
