How many of you guys have battled people on other forums, lost, and then just not heard from the other person afterwards?

I had a particularly bad battle on another foum the other day, and I just felt hopeless, like my team was just useless, but I didn't know where to start from to rectify my problems.

Then a great idea occured to me. Why not have a thread dedicated to testing teams and getting feed back? For example, let's say we have a battle, and I lose. You then tell me what you think the problems with my team are and how I might rectify them, and vis versa. It would be a great way for people to test out new teams, seek advice from some more experienced battlers, or just get some good feedback without having to take forever posting a 'rate my team' topic.

It would be almost like a practice battle thread!

lol it would be a good idea, but when you start ev training your team, isnt it too late to try it out? anyway its an excellent idea, i could try out my sandstorm team!!

I guess it is but you could always EV another poke, or swap some pokes. And you're sandstorm team sounds real interesting!

Never to late to change your team. This is an awesome idea. I have never battle another person and think I might start. I got so many Pokemon I want to use in my Team and have no idea which ones to choose. So this way I can kinda hold tryouts he-he.

lol im trying to build teams that work in fonction with the weather. it would never work in standard play since most of the pokemon have a common weakness. but some pokemon have handy abillities. its a pretty tricky team to build

Yeah I bet Sanjose, and thanks Buzz, the idea just kinda struck me 'cause I'm not terribly experienced when it comes to competitive battling. I mean sure, I know the theory, but it's different when you're actually out there battling someone else lol!

Yup you'll probably cream me though, 'cause I just got creamed with my gym team on marriland --; lol

doesnt really mean anything although i pretty much beat every gym leader so far. you guys shouldnt reveal your team cause then we can pick of your weaknesses. maybe just give hints of pokemon youre gonna use so that we prepare for the unknown lol
