I just had the craziest dream.

I was eating at some random BBQ place with my mom, Shep. We were talking about random thing and somehow we ended up talking about marriage. Then she said something that implied that she wasn't married to my dad. This threw up many red flags in my mind but I didn't say anything.

The conversation meandered around and then I asked her directly "Are you married to dad?" and she said "Nope!". I was shocked and asked what all the wedding pictures were. She said that she just threw a party and invited everybody. Then she said something about a cornstock festival that happened at the same time. It was weird. lol Then she kept eating some food while I was in a total state of shock. I was woken up by my TV (lately I've had this bad habit of not setting the sleep timer).

I know that it's just a weird dream. They got married in late January of 1987 and there is no way that there would be any weird crop festivals in Nebraska/Iowa in the middle of winter. Given, I don't think I've seen their marriage certificate but I have seen pictures of the reception and other government documents that say they're married. I think they were the medium between what Matte and I did (get married by a judge and not tell anybody) and what my cousin Misa did (giant wedding with everybody and their neighbor invited), which was getting married by a justice of the peace and having a reception with family afterwards. I really do wonder what tangent my mind was exploring with this one. Perhaps it has something to do with the fact I've been sick the past x-many days..... *Ponders*

So yeah, just another bit o' randomness from my mind. I find it funny that the last time I had a dream and remembered it was nearly a month ago. This isn't anything new; I've never been one to remember such things.
