It has to be able to avoid earthquake and discharge (in one way or another) but I'm not really sure who I could use. Just wondering if anyone can throw out some ideas of pokemon that would be useful for this? I don't need evs and movesets (although that's nice if you provide that info). I just need actual pokemon names and then I can figure out the rest on my own. These are the members I have planned out already for the team:

We're both hoping to use these *mumblemumble* later on in the game, (neither of us have finished yet - I'm further along, with five gym badges) so I'm breeding for a good nature and IV's. I did this with a different pokemon already, and had no trouble - I understand the mechanics of breeding and I'm patient, so it went well.

So, everything looks good to start on my *mumblemumble* project, and I thought "Hey, while I'm at it, why don't I breed a litter of six or eight extra and have a small event over at Pokefarm? *mumblemumble* is a good pokemon, and I haven't seen any events with it of late..."
But then it hit me: Moveset. There are a couple of TM moves that I'm including that are good, but the other two are lower-level (that is, under level thirty) evolution moves. This didn't bother me before, because my sister and I were planning to raise them up. And at first, I didn't think it would be a problem even if I put some up for adoption over here.

And then I remembered something that I read somewhere, either over here, or somewhere else when I was looking for breeding information:
If you're a new breeder, you don't have to worry too much about IV's or Natures. It's movesets that sell your Pokemon.
Maybe that's not exactly the right wording, but that was the gist of it.

So now I'm worried. If it's movesets that people want, and my *mumblemumble* would have a not-fabulous, but not terrible moveset, maybe I shouldn't do the event? Would people not want to bother with getting one? Would it be considered lazy, or rude, or pretentious or something to start small-time farming before I've even finished the game? Should I wait until I can put higher level-up moves or really good egg-moves (right now I can't do a whole lot with egg-moves, because I'm still rather limited on what pokemon I can get hold of) on the babies?

I know how much time breeding involves, and I do realize what I'm getting into by breeding for an event - even a small one. So that's not the issue. My question is: Is an awesome moveset necessary to do a small giveaway, or will a good nature and decent IV's be enough to make a few people want them? Try #2, and I got all the way to 45 in my chain, at which point I started resetting the radar over and over in hopes of finding a shiny patch.

Well, I neglected to notice that my little LED was red and my DS battery died. Oh well. Instead of trying on my second DS, I just called it quits for a bit.

The question I had: is it feasible to chain pokemon other than the one that is currently swarming? I noticed that at the beginning of the chain, I ran into lots of naturally-occuring pokemon, Geodudes and Machops and Zubats and stuff. She smiled and pulled out a bright blue sphere, then lead you into the Giant Ballcourt.
"wait what is this?" You asked.
"This is our challange, for we must survive, all weaklings will go to the gods, in beg of mercy. Their heads shaw be our ball of the game. Chapter 1: Predictions of Doom

“I assure you our victory Juan.” The man wearing large silver armor, the so called Sir Cortez, answered. He was riding on a Rapidash like all the other soldiers behind him. Then he rose his staff into the sky and charged towards a nearby city. [i]
“And so began the invasion of the new world!” Announced Mr. Mellow, the history teacher. He explained every aspect of it. Thou none of the students paid attention.
“So you heard about 2012?” Carl asked Skylop, who was sitting next to him. Skylop was the only one actually listening to Mr. Mellow. He heard and learned a lot, and never answered to Carl.
“Yes Skylop, you have a question?” The teacher saw he was raising his hand. Everyone turned and looked at him.
“So, is it true that less than 500 species of Pokémon were known back then?” He asked eagerly.
“Yep, technically the total known was only 450. Many of the Legendary (Godly) Pokémon were not believed it, as they are today, only myths. The Ancient civilizations including those of the new world saw many of these legends as gods. As today, we only believe in Arceus, the mighty overlord.” The teacher explained, then the bell rang and Skylop ran out eagerly. He took out a pokeball and sent out Gardgoil, his areodactil.
“Hey there Gardgoil, time to go home!” He smiled as he jumped on the pokemon’s back. It was The year two thousand and twelve, late October to be exact. Skylop got home fast, he was a freshman in collage. At his room he had giant books about things that never seemed to relate or so one would think.
“Dit!” His ditto was sitting at his computer, it was doing research on the events predicted to occur in 2012.
“You looking for that, so is everyone else. I guess I’m pretty tired of this, we have to find out all the possible solutions.” Skylop pulled out all of his books and laid them on his bed. From all this semester of History, he had learned the locations of the Mayan Empire. They were the ones that made the calendar which predicted the end of the world. It was made it what today is Belize.
“Aha!” HE took his book on 501 Must see natural Wonders of the World, then quickly found Belize. The only thing there was the coral reefs. But a picture had something more there. A 125 meter drop, called the Great Blue Hole. He then opened up a book on sea locations, showing what salt water species lived where. Then he discovered that a shark, similar to Hountail lived in those areas.
“Ditto, get me some pictures of this god that is supposed to return to end the world!” Skylop ordered and ditto quickly googled the name of the god. Many pictures showed up of a man dressed as a god, or so it looked like one. Other were of a dragon, with bird’s wings. Reptile with feathers!
“Dino evolution!” Skylop opened up a book he had on diansours which sholed theories of evolution and ect.
“Dit?”
“Yep, I got it. Start Typing.” Skylop was confident. “There are Five possible theories. 1, an actual legend will appear and destroy us. Two a metor will crash on Earth. Three, we will find out how dinasours where wiped out. Four, a massive eclipse due to Planitary gravitations causes loss of solar energy and drop of life. Five, a pokemon in the Great Blue Holes evolves and comes out, in an attempt to get food or survive, gets attacked by us, and goes on a rampage to kill and destroy everything.”
“Dit Dooh?” It asked.
“Humm, actually one more theory. Citiy on a Lake, Bermuda triangle, Atlantis, seems related. I have no idea ditto, but I guess we will have to find out. Book some airplaine flights to Belize.”
“Dooh Di!” Ditto started looking for cheap airline services and purchased tickers. Meanwhile Skylop started packing his bags with clothing and books, as well as ten pokeballs.
“Mom. I’m going on a trip to Belize with my School. I will be back on December 24!”
“Ok.”
Skylop majored in many languages that exicted, like Spanish, French and others. He was also a lot into research and this investigation was going be top priority for him.

We began by borrowing a copy of RB2 along with a corded guitar and a mic. A few days later I spent the $100 to buy the Special Edition of RB2 with the wireless guitar, drums, game and corded mic. I also dropped the $60 on the Beatles version.

This weekend we lucked out and found a brand new (marked as used) GH3 Les Paul wireless controller at GameStop for $15. This controller now belongs to my daughter (and is covered in Pokemon stickers) and we no longer need the corded guitar.

We have spent the most time playing the Beatles Rock Band (less complaints from my better half) and I have to say that I can now jam quite well on medium for everything but vocals and drums. I can even pull off expert Bass on a few songs.

The family router is right by my computer, but it's encrypted in WPA instead of WEP, and the DS only knows how to accept WEP. Stupid Nintendo.

So, thinking that I'm smart, I buy a Nintendo WiFi USB connector. I connect the dongle to a USB port, and it turns my wired internet connection into a wireless connection that's guaranteed to work with the DS, right? Not quite. I installed the software, plugged in the dongle, and booted up the DS. Everything was working fine. The DS found the signal, and told me to confirm it on the screen. The computer knew that the DS was connecting to the signal, and I gave it permission to access the wireless signal. Then the DS says something like "Success! Now initiating a connection test..." and it times out and says it can't connect to the internet. What's going on here?

Every single time, it seems to work, up until the point where it does the second connection test. Am I too close to the router, and the WPA signal is interfering? I mean, I'm sitting at my computer desk, and the router is up against the wall behind the desk, and the USB dongle is about eight inches away from the DS, and it still fails the connection test. I can't figure it out.
