Chapter 1
The Journey Begins

*Yawn* Its 6:15 am, and its time to get ready for the journey ahead of me. I am Ryan. My 13th birthday passed not too long ago. I am starting now instead of when I was 10 is because where I live the parents think ten is much too young to go around the region.
Anyway, once I was ready I met up with the only other rookies in Yellow Town. They are Sarah and Chris. We then headed out into the Mysterious forest.
"Dang its cold in here!" Chris yelled. I looked at my watch and it was 37'F! We kept on moving.Then we came across a yellow honey tree. Licking the tree honey were a heracross, burmy, and combee.
"Come out!" we yelled and threw three pokeballs into the air. Out came Sarah's Torchic, Chris's Mudkip, and my Treecko. Treecko used pound on heracross a few times. I then threw a pokeball, and caught it. Torchic battled combee with ember, then Sarah caught it. Finally, Chris caught burmy after using water gun.
We continued, 'til we saw a pink creature floating in the distance. I took one pic of it on my cell phone then flew off civing a cry: "Mew!"
We arrived at the exit, but we stopped and heard a rustle in the bushes. Six shadows appeared, 3 of which appeared to be human. The other three seemed to be a dragon, another a giant penguin, and the last a horned monster.
"Surrender the information on the pokemon... or be mercilessly punished"
"What do we do?"Sarah asked.
I answered,"We stay and fight!"

Chapter 2
The First Battle

"Go!" All of us sent out our pokemon, ready to fight. Out came Treecko Heracross Torchic Combee Mudkip and Burmy.
After the shadows came out into the open, they were revealed to be three members of Team Aqua, and a Charizard Empoleon, and Aggron.
"Aggron, Flash Cannon!"
"Charizard, Fire Blast!"
"Empoleon, Hydro Pump!"
The three attacked, but we responded with even more attacks.
"Treecko, Energy Ball!"
"Mudkip, Mud Shot!"
Torchic, Ember!"
The attacks collided, setting off a huge explosion.The attackers couldn't move, allowing Combee Heracross and Burmy to attack and finish up.
"Heracross, Close Combat!"
"Combee, Bug Bite!"
"Burmy, Hidden Power!"
The pokemon attacked, KOing them. The grunts' pokemon were called back to their pokeballs, and they fled.

We finally left the Mysterious Forest and entered our first destination, and our first rest stop, Orange City.
And we three checked in the Orange Hotel.

The next morning we decided to stay in the city for at least a couple of days.
After breakfast at the diner, we decided to go around town. We split up for a while and were to meet up at the town square at 3:00pm. Sarah went to the mall, Chris went to see a movie, and I went to stock up on supplies and fish out at the river.

I finished getting supplies and had started fishing at 11:45. Something was biting at the line, and I pulled it in. The creature was menacing, staring at me with its cold eyes. It roared.
"Rrrraaaaawwrrrrr!"

Chapter 3
Bryan Uprising

"Rrrraaaaawwrrrrr!" The monster revealed itself to be a gyarados.
"Treecko, use Pound!" I called. Treecko jumped high into the air and pounded the Gyarados with its tail. "Now use Energy Ball!" Treecko in midair focused then released an Energy ball.
The gyarados fell to the ground.
"Hey! Leave my pokemon alone!" A voice a few feet away called. It was a 13 year old boy. He came running toward me with a poke ball in one hand. He returned the Gyarados back to its poke ball.
"Oh sorry there... I didn't know it wasn't wild." I reassured him.
"Yeah, whatever."He responded. "Anyway I'm Bryan."
"I'm Ryan. Hey, I gotta go. See ya around." I ran off to meet my friends at the square. It was 2:55pm.
So I waited for the others to show up. About two minutes later Chris swowed up.
"Hey, Chris." I greeted him. "How was the movie?"
"Bloody, gory, and hilarious." Chris responded.
"How about we go meet up with Sarah at the mall?"
"Sure."
So we walked over to the Orange City Mall. We walked inside, and the mall had surprisingly barely anyone in it. So we walked over to the food court.
"Maybe the mall is about to close up." Chris suggested. It was empty too.
We checked the first place we should've checked: the fashion store. So we walked through the door, and we heard a blood-curdling scream.
We barged into the storage room. There was a fire in the room! Then I saw Sarah. She was tied up! We tried to untie her when a support beam broke and fell towards us...

Chapter 4
Bryan to the Rescue...Sort of

A shadow swooped in and saved Sarah. The pole kept on falling towards me! But just before I was flattened, Treecko popped out of its pokeball and used Energy Ball to break it to pieces. But Treecko then turned completely white!
"Treecko is evolving into Grovyle!"I said. I looked at the Shadow and it turned out to be Bryan! He turned and looked at me with cold eyes as if to tell me that he started the fire. I wanted to beat him up and throw him out the window. What an idiot! He starts a fire, ties her up and pretends to be the hero?! But he mysteriously left before I could.

At 6:00pm we went to eat at the Diner. The whole time I was thinking to myself about what had happened at the mall.
"So, uh... you all right?" I asked Sarah, who had a puzzled face looking out the window.
"Huh? Oh. Right. Thanks." She had ropeburns on her arms.
"This day just keeps getting freakier and freakier, doesn't it?" Chris said. I agreed with a nod.
"We're going to leave after breakfast on the day after tomorrow. Wednesday." I said.
After we had finished eating, we continued talking.
"Did you see anything, like what the person who tied you up looked like?" I asked.
"Well, I did see that the person was a boy, probably our age, and had black hair."
"Did you see his face?"
"No, he was wearing a mask."
"This town is messed up!"Chris said. Agreeing, we walked into the hotel and stayed in our rooms the rest of the night.
Chris and I share the same room. So we talked to eachother.
"Look, I didn't want to say this in front of Sarah, 'cause I know she won't believe me, but Bryan is the one who tied her up and started the fire!" I rose my voice.
"How do you figure?"
"Well, she said he had black hair and was our age! It has to be him! He's trying to get back at me by taking my friends and leaving me all alone!"
"What did you do?"
"His Gyarados attacked me, and Treecko, who is now a Grovyle, beat it up and he got angry."
"Well, i don't know... he looks like a great guy" Chris responded. He yawned then fell asleep.
"What am I gonna do?" I asked myself. I felt drowsy then fell asleep, too.

lol i like it, but events seem to be traveling at 200 mph, if you know what i mean. slow things down a bit, theres no rush. but other than that i like it

Chapter 5
Friends Never Say Goodbye... Or Do They?

I woke up the next morning. Mornings are great because there's never any rush to do anything. My stomach growled, so I grabbed a cinnamon-apple breakfast bar and turned the television to the news channel.
"Yesterday afternoon a fire was started in the Orange City mall."The news reporter stated. "The fire hadn't been dicovered until the place had been almost completely burned down! Luckily, officers had evacuated all remaining bystanders from the building."
"At least we got out of there, huh?"I said, looking at Chris's bed. he didn't respond, so I lifted the covers off of the bed to find that he wasn't there! But I noticed that there was a note attached to the pillow.
It read,"Ryan, we've been friends for years, but i think it's time to move on. You don't accept that Sarah's all right. Just because you don't like Bryan. I bet that you told me that lie cuz you're jealous that she likes him more! So, anyway, this is...goodbye." There was a tear stain on the note. It continued,"By the time you read this I'll be in the next town, two miles away.

'Goodbye' I thought to myself. The news was still going. Some stupid Glameow got stuck in a tree. I turned it off.
"That's it! If Chris doesn't wanna be my friend anymore just because he's too naive to see what's going on, then fine!" I yelled. "But I have to save Sarah from Bryan before it's too late!"
I ran out of my room and down the hall. I knocked on the door calling for Sarah. But the door was halfway open, and I walked inside. She wasn't there! But right before I turned around and left, I saw her pokeballs on the bed! Knowing I'd need al the help I could get, I put them in my pocket and ran out. I was running too fast that when I got to the stairs I tripped and fell!
"Aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!"
