Yeah, the thing with Toxic was a misclick :/ And My strategy was shut down after you used Avalanche on Stride and that was my only strategy! All the other pokes on my team were just put on there randomly. I am going to take a long time to think up a real doulble battle strategy and not just use my single battles team.

Actually, using your singles team isn't that bad of an idea. I just did some research with my team and looked at what combinations *could* work with my pokemon. Like (Paiopa noticed, not me), i had used a physical and special pokemon together as the leads, and they were great at weakening his team. Then, as one of them fainted, i went to another combo that my other lead had, and i kept going like that. I had tons of combos that sort of worked on paper, that i found out worked terribly, but also luck was a huge factor of our match. I got several crits in that helped me win the battle. tl;dr Singles can help win doubles.

Pikaluva13 nailed it right to the point. The thing about double battles is most people over think things with their teams. Just because you use certain pokemon in singles doesn't mean they won't work well in doubles. It's like a dance. You choose two partners and one follows the other's lead. You do have to make sure both partners are in synch otherwise the dance number gets ruined. Make sense lol?
